Loose Women's Jane Moore 'unsettling sofa-surfing' after selling family home
Loose Women panellist Jane Moore has shared details of her life post-divorce, after she split from her husband of 27 years, Gary Farrow, in 2022
Jane Moore from Loose Women has candidly discussed her "unsettling" period of "sofa-surfing" after she sold her family home amid her recent divorce. A regular face on Loose Women since the very first show in 1999 alongside Nadia Sawalha, Kaye Adams, and Karren Brady, Jane has become a cherished part of the ITV programme.
Initially carving out a career in journalism, ITV's Jane Moore is now better known for her broadcasting roles, appearing on popular shows like This Morning, Question Time, and The Andrew Marr Show, as well as braving the jungle for I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! last year.
Despite being seen giving out relationship advice on TV, Jane has navigated intense personal trials, including the end of her marriage to Gary Farrow in 2022, reports the Daily Record.
Celebrating her 63rd birthday, Jane revealed her struggles post-divorce, including "sofa-surfing" with help from friends.
In an open article for Platinum magazine, Jane spoke about her temporary "nomadic" lifestyle.
She remarked: "After selling the family home to downsize, I put the majority of my possessions into storage and embarked on a period of nomadic sofa-surfing until I found a new abode."
One adventurous woman has disclosed her unique journey of 'sofa-surfing' across London's luxurious homes after her children flew the nest, quipping: "Well, I say sofa-surfing.
But, thanks to my generous, mostly divorced friends, who live alone and welcome company, I was offered a variety of gorgeous en-suite bedrooms in multiple London locations."
She experienced life in some of London's most sought-after areas like Notting Hill and Chelsea's King's Road, which she relished until realising it was high time to "put down roots again" and create her own home.
The dalliance with a transient lifestyle left the once methodically organised wanderer expressing: "I'm starting to feel slightly chaotic which, as a hitherto organised person, is unsettling me."
In other news not tied to her housing situation, whilst chatting on the Loose Women podcast, she offered an insight into her amicable relationship with her ex-husband post-divorce.
Jane revealed on the programme that she and her former partner, along with their daughters Ellie and Grace, have successfully maintained a friendly atmosphere, even celebrating Christmas Day together.

Dear Coleen: I'm unsure how to act when my teenager starts having sex
Dear Coleen, My 16-year-old daughter has a boyfriend and they've been dating for a couple of months. He's lovely and I know his parents to say hello to and the whole family seem so nice. However, I'm struggling to know how to cope with the sex stuff when it happens. I'm not naïve enough to think they're not doing things already or thinking about having sex but I don't really know what I should be doing, if anything. I'm not prudish but she's our only child, so I'm in unchartered waters. We've always been open about awkward subjects, so she's pretty open with us, too. I'm anticipating she might ask if he can stay over at our house and I don't know what to say to that. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! When I think back to when I was her age, I remember trying to out-manoeuvre my parents and find places to be alone with my boyfriend. How did you cope with all of this with your kids? Coleen says You're on a winning streak already if you have the kind of relationship with your daughter where you're comfortable talking about stuff. Why not say something like, 'I don't know if you're having sex or thinking about it but I'm here to talk to if ever you need me'? The main thing is letting her know that she mustn't be afraid to confide in you and it opens the door to discussing all the important issues around sex. I've always had very open relationships with my kids – there's nothing we can't talk about. But I've still found out things I didn't know were going on when they were teens. We have to accept that teenagers don't want to share everything with their parents and that's fine, as long as they can ask for support when they need it without you flying off the handle. As far as sleeping over, that's a personal thing. You could say he can stay on the couch or in the spare room (just expect they might sneak around at night because that's what I did!) But if you think by not letting them sleep in your house they're not going to have sex, you're wrong. If they want to do it, they'll find somewhere else. It is a weird moment as a parent when your child's partner stays over but it's weird for them, too. I think when they're in an established relationship with someone, it feels different, and you'll probably find that things work out naturally over time.

JoJo Siwa says Chris Hughes feels like family and her mother ‘adores' him
The two met in the ITV1 Celebrity Big Brother house, growing close during their time on the reality show, claiming their relationship was 'platonic'. Since leaving the house, they have been seen together and recently shared photographs of them together on Instagram, suggesting they are in a relationship. A post shared by JoJo Siwa (@itsjojosiwa) Siwa, 22, told Channel 4's Sunday Brunch: 'She (Siwa's mother) does love him. My parents think the absolute world of him and him and my dad are like best friends. 'Chris was actually telling me that yesterday they went to the spa together. They're literally best friends. 'Mum, she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us because I've never seen my mum so happy. 'It feels like we're a family. It feels like he's been in my family for however many years. It feels like they just all get along as well as I do. 'I think there will definitely be a lot more time spent here, and I think from him as well, a lot more time spent over there, but we both have families, you know, on either end.' The 22-year old singer is known for her songs Karma and Guilty Pleasure, which she released in 2024, while sports presenter Hughes, 32, appeared on the third season of the ITV reality TV series Love Island. Speaking about her decision to join Celebrity Big Brother, she said: 'I didn't even question a yes or no. I knew it wasn't even a question. It was an immediate yes. 'I think for me, growing up on reality TV, it almost feels like a little bit of home to me, and it just feels like it's just fun. 'And right before I went in, I told my mom, I was like, I think this is gonna be the best thing I've ever done. And she's like, what do you mean? And I was like, I don't know, something tells me, like for my personal, like for my life, it feels like it's gonna be the best thing I've ever done and by a landslide it has been. 'Being on Big Brother you're captured 24/7 so for people to just get to see the real me was something that I wasn't sure how to share, essentially on my own, I guess I wasn't brave enough to share it.' The Celebrity Big Brother final saw Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd crowned the winner. Siwa placed third on the ITV1 reality show while Hughes came sixth.

Molly-Mae Hague's Love Island 2019 audition tape is revealed for first time as she and Tommy Fury are branded one of show's success stories in 10 year anniversary special
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury were included as one of Love Island's successful love stories during ITV's special 10-year anniversary episode on Sunday. The former Love Island star and the amateur boxer, both 26, met on the ITV2 dating show in 2019 and welcomed their daughter Bambi in 2023. In the summer of 2024 they shocked the nation with news of their split as Tommy has claimed his drinking became a problem in their relationship. However, after months of rumours they'd rekindled their romance, the pair finally went Instagram official last month with a loved-up family snap. And ITV wasted no time in branding the couple as one of their success stories with a celebratory clip of them to close Love Island: Decade Of Love. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Elsewhere in the show, Molly-Mae's 2019 audition tape was also shown for the first time, revealing some shock confessions about her love life before Tommy. As the episode turned to 'unseen audition clips', Molly was seen confessing that she had been described as 'too much' by her former love interests. In her audition clip she said: 'The last guy I was with literally told me I was too much for him to handle. What ever too much actually means.' The clip then switched to Molly auditioning for the show where she revealed the secrets to her iconic messy top bun. She said: 'I take the nozzle of the blow hairdryer, blow dry it through there and then a bit of hairspray. But it stays there anyway.' Molly and Tommy fell for each other in front of the nation during series five of Love Island, going on to welcome Bambi and then get engaged in 2023. But fans were shocked when Molly announced on Instagram last August that she and Tommy had split up after five years, with many suspecting he had been unfaithful. In a statement posted to her 8.5million Instagram followers, she confirmed the breakup, saying: 'I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.' Tommy denied continued speculation about him cheating during a magazine interview, insisting any reports about him being with other women were 'complete and utter b*****ks.' The boxer, who's the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, said the reason he and Molly ended their romance was down to his excessive drinking. He said: 'People go through different things in life. I'm 25 years old. I went through a lot and my breakup was in front of the whole world... 'Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing.' The pair's split was branded a 'publicity stunt' by fans after they were filmed packing on the PDA at Manchester United footballer Luke Shaw 's Hogmanay party in Cheshire. And in May, Molly began taking to her Instagram Stories to re-introduce his presence more regularly on her social media account. In the picture, Tommy could be seen sharing a kiss with Molly and their toddler, Bambi, while they enjoyed ice lollies in the sunshine. The post comes after she revealed what really happened when they were spotted sharing a kiss as the clock struck midnight and 2025 began in the final installment of her Amazon Prime docuseries. After receiving a call from her manager Fran Britton to inform her of the video, Molly was left shaking as she exclaimed 'No, oh my God,' after watching the footage. The influencer explained: 'Basically, what's happened is I've attended a New Year's Eve party and a familiar someone showed up 10 minutes before the countdown and that was Tommy. 'Basically we shared a kiss at midnight and it would appear that someone has taken a video and sold it to the press.' She continued: 'It was just a moment that we shared and I can't really explain it, it kind of just happened. 'You think you're having a private, intimate moment and nothing is private even in a room of people you think you trust and you know, people like to make a quick buck.' Molly added: 'I'd love to know how much they did make, hope it was worth it. But karma always comes back around don't you think?' Watching the clip she exclaimed: 'Sh**e. Ahhh no. No my God what? I'm literally shaking.' As Fran asked her to explain what happened, Molly swore that the boxer wasn't supposed to at the party and showed up unexpectedly. She said: 'He turned up at 10 to 12. I swear he wasn't meant to be there. 'He messaged me saying "I am outside and I want to see in the New Year with you, I kid you not Fran he was there for eight minutes. He was literally not there. He wasn't there all night.' Since the kiss, Tommy has been seen leaving her Cheshire home and after sharing a family holiday in Dubai, Molly confirmed on her YouTube channel that the pair are 'figuring things out'.
