The sportswear giant and TOGETHXR are partnering on a merchandise collection featuring the now ubiquitous slogan championing women's sports. The collection will include T-shirts, hoodies and baseball hats, and will be available through Nike and TOGETHXR as well as at Dick's Sporting Goods.
"TOGETHXR was created to amplify the voices of women athletes and to show the world that women's sports are not just something to be watched, but something to be centered and invested in," Jessica Robertson, TOGETHXR's chief content officer and co-founder, said in a release Friday.
"This partnership with Nike allows us to take our mission to the next level," Robertson added. "We will not only create access to new and exciting products on a global scale, which we know women's sports fans so greatly seek, but will also build a future where women's sports receive the respect, resources and investment they truly deserve.'
Frustrated with the lack of coverage of women's sports they saw throughout their respective careers, Sue Bird, Alex Morgan, Chloe Kim and Simone Manuel created TOGETHXR with Robertson in 2021. A commerce and media company, it was meant to amplify the stories and voices of women athletes, and offer merchandise that was missing in the mainstream market.
"Everyone Watches Women's Sports" became TOGETHXR's tagline, a rebuttal to the common refrain by naysayers who tried to dismiss the growing popularity of women's sports. TOGETHXR began producing merchandise with the slogan in 2023, and it took off last year when South Carolina coach Dawn Staley wore one of the shirts during a game.
Jason Sudeikis was often seen in "Everyone Watches Women's Sports" gear as he sat courtside during last year's NCAA tournament and WNBA season. Steph Curry, Shaq and actress Aubrey Plaza also were seen in gear with the slogan. "Everyone Watches Women's Sports" merchandise has already generated more than $6 million in revenue, TOGETHXR said, a number sure to grow under the new partnership.

Fever downplay notion recent roster moves are indication of Caitlin Clark return
An Indiana Fever team spokesperson clarified to the IndyStar's Chloe Peterson that the organization's recent roster moves don't have anything to do with the injury status of star guard Caitlin Clark. Speculation ramped up on Monday afternoon that the Fever's release of guard Kyra Lambert could be an indication that Clark's return from injury was imminent. This clarification from the Fever dampens any of that potential excitement. Indiana announced on Tuesday that guard Sophie Cunningham had indeed suffered a season-ending injury. Peterson of the IndyStar confirmed it was an MCL tear on Cunningham's right knee. In a corresponding move, the Fever inked veteran guard Shey Peddy on Tuesday with a hardship contract. Peddy, a six-year WNBA veteran, most recently appeared with the Los Angeles Sparks, averaging 5.0 points and 2.7 assists over six games on a hardship contract. Prior to her time in Los Angeles, Peddy split her career between the Phoenix Mercury and Washington Mystics, starting her WNBA career in 2019. Across her six seasons in the WNBA, Peddy has averaged 5.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game on 40.2% shooting from the floor, 31.7% from 3-point territory, and 90.1% from the free-throw line. Fever head coach Stephanie White said before Indiana's win on Sunday that the organization is still optimistic Clark returns before regular season's end. "That's the hope. The hope is that she's back," White said. After returns from previous left quadriceps and left groin injuries resulted in Clark back on the injury shelf, the Fever have made a point to be more cautious with Clark in this latest injury return. "The experience throughout the year, trying to come back and come back quickly, has also taught her that she needs to make sure that she's 100 percent. "Yes, every competitor wants to play, but at the same time doing it the right way and making sure, after we've had a couple of setbacks, that we're prioritizing her long-term health and wellness is the most important thing," White said. After Sunday's absence, Clark has now missed 13 consecutive regular season games with her current right groin injury. In her 13 games played this season, Clark is averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game on 36.7% field-goal shooting and 27.9% 3-point accuracy. Clark has now missed 22 regular season games and 23 contests overall, including the WNBA Commissioner's Cup final. Indiana (19-16) picked up a dramatic 99-93 overtime win on Sunday over the Connecticut Sun. It was announced on Tuesday that Sophie Cunningham will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury. The Fever were already thin on guards this season due to Clark's injury. Things got even worse when they lost Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald to a torn ACL and broken foot, respectively. McDonald stepped up during Clark's absence, averaging 9.8 points and 4.7 assists per game. Now, the Fever will have to adjust to life without Cunningham, who was averaging 8.6 points per game on 43.2% shooting from the 3-point line. "Cunningham sustained a season-ending injury in her right knee during the second quarter of the game and is expected to make a full recovery," the Fever said in a press release. With Cunningham out for the season, Indiana has signed guard Shey Peddy to a seven-day hardship contract. The six-year WNBA veteran averaged 5.0 points and 2.7 assists per game for the Los Angeles Sparks earlier this season. Indiana has already dealt with a few injuries this year, so the last thing Fever's fan base wanted to see was another season-ending injury. 'Fever 2025 season is cursed,' a fan said after Cunningham's injury. 'We'll always think about what could have been.' "The Fever are having a cursed season," another person wrote. "It literally pisses me off when people are like, 'She's not the face of the league.' What?" Cunningham said on her podcast. "There's really good, well-known people in our league. I'm not discrediting them. We have a lot of badasses in our league. Hell yeah to that. I'm all for that. But when people try to argue that she's not the face of our league or our league would be where we're at without her, you're dumb as s---. You're literally dumb as f---." Will Clark return this season? The Fever would certainly benefit from Clark returning to the court this season. However, there's no guarantee her groin injury will heal in time. The team has already said it's taking a cautious approach to her rehab process. 'Yes, every competitor wants to play, but at the same time doing it the right way and making sure, after we've had a couple of setbacks, that we're prioritizing her long-term health and wellness is the most important thing,' Fever coach Stephanie White told reporters over the weekend. Clark hasn't played since July 15. There are only nine regular-season games remaining for the Fever.
