Caitlyn Jenner took to X, previously known as Twitter, to reassure followers about her safety amid the tense situation in Israel. She shared a photo on social media, seemingly from her hotel, showing missiles in the sky and plumes of smoke rising from below, giving a glimpse into the intense situation unfolding around her.
Sharing the image, she wrote, ''Quiet' night in Tel Aviv. Pray for us all. We will prevail. I am happy to stand with Israel today, now more than ever'.
Caitlyn later updated her followers that she was taking shelter amid the escalating situation. She wrote, 'We are back in the shelters in Tel Aviv. This looks like it is the third wave of attack from Iran'.
She was also photographed drinking a glass of wine in a bomb shelter with an Israeli influencer. The image surfaced on X from Regev Gur's handle and shows Caitlyn raising her glass of wine to pose for the selfie.
Caitlyn also spoke to a local TV channel, according to The Mirror. The former Olympian mentioned that she is keeping in contact with her loved ones back in California, including her daughter Kylie Jenner. Caitlyn said, "I spoke with my daughter Kylie, and she urged me to stay safe. I reassured her'. She emphasised, "Don't worry, I'll keep myself safe, and they'll take care of me."
Tel Aviv has been on alert after Iran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles against Israel late on Friday amid escalating conflict between the two countries. The attack came as a retaliation against Israel's strikes earlier in the day, blasting Iran's huge underground nuclear site at Natanz and wiping out its top military commanders.
Tensions between Israel, the US and Iran have escalated in recent weeks, amid negotiations over the Iran nuclear deal, which is aimed at preventing the country from developing nuclear weapons.

Governor urges students to make use of knowledge and education to contribute to nation-building
Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot said the outgoing graduates will not only face new challenges but will also have opportunities, and it was for them to harness the knowledge and education they received in the university and make the best use of it to contribute to the nation. Speaking at the 3rd annual convocation of Mandya Univeristy here on Saturday, Mr. Gehlot said the world was changing rapidly, and artificial intelligence and data science was influencing every aspect of life. Hence it was imperative to keep oneself updated, he said, urging the outgoing students to commit themselves to learning and pursuing their areas of interest. Mr. Gehlot highlighted ancient India's contributions to knowledge in various spheres and called upon the youth to help the country achieve its goal of becoming a developed economy by 2047, when the nation completes 100 years of independence. Encouraging students to embrace change and innovation, the Governor urged the graduates to contribute to nation-building initiatives like Make in India, Viksit Bharat, and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. 'Today, India is the fourth largest economy in the world, and you (students) must contribute to ensure its emergence among the top three economies,' he added. As many as 815 graduates and postgraduates received their degrees during the convocation. Soumendranath Bandopadhyay, director of NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata, said the graduating students were entering a dynamic world which was constantly changing and beset with socio-economic and political problems. While there was Israel-Iran conflict on the one hand, the Ukraine-Russia war was impacting the world at the political level. The rise of artificial intelligence was challenging established intellectual and knowledge framework resulting in new uncertainties, he added. He reminded the graduates that their achievements were the result of the sacrifice of their parents and the commitment of their teachers, and hence urged them to be grounded and remember their contributions while cherishing their own success. Prof. Bandopadhyay said that the university was growing fast, and the need of the hour was more collaborative projects with international institutions and universities as they would widen the exposure received by the students and broaden their horizon and outlook. Honorary doctorates were conferred on Jayaprakash Gowda for his contributions to education and literature, H.S. Nishkal Gowda for her work in women empowerment and social service and Pratap Madhukar Kamath as an entrepreneur and civic leader. K. Shivachithappa, Vice-Chancellor (Acting), said that Mandya University was making rapid progress and was emerging as a beacon of hope for higher education in the rural hinterland. ‘Dialogue and diplomacy': India makes ‘own position' clear after SCO condemns Israeli military strikes on Iran
India on Saturday made its 'own position' clear on the conflict between Israel and Iran as the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) released a statement expressing serious concerns about the escalating tensions between the two countries. While the SCO 'strongly condemned' the military strikes carried out by Israel on Iran on June 13, India distanced itself from the comments. Despite being a founding member of the organisation, India said that it did not participate in the discussion regarding the Israel-Iran topic. However, India refrained from participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) discussions on the Israel-Iran conflict. 'India's own position on the matter had been articulated by us on 13 June 2025, and remains the same. We urge that channels of dialogue and diplomacy be utilised to work towards de-escalation and it is essential that the international community undertake endeavours in that direction,' the Ministry of External Affairs said in a separate statement. The MEA statement added that External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had on Friday spoke to his counterpart in Iran and 'conveyed the deep concern of the international community at the turn of events.' 'He also urged the avoidance of any escalatory steps and an early return to diplomacy.' India has communicated its overall position to the SCO members, the MEA said, adding, 'Keeping that in mind, India did not participate in the discussions on the above-mentioned SCO statement.' The SCO's statement comes amid escalating tensions in West Asia following Israel's strikes on Iran on June 13. Israel launched what it called a "pre-emptive operation" on Iran targeting the latter's nuclear program on Friday. The statement from SCO member states said, 'The member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) express serious concern over the escalating tensions in the Middle East and strongly condemn the military strikes carried out by Israel on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran on June 13, 2025.' 'Such aggressive actions against civilian targets, including energy and transport infrastructure, which have resulted in civilian casualties, are a gross violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. They constitute an infringement on Iran's sovereignty, cause damage to regional and international security, and pose serious risks to global peace and stability,' it added. The MEA on June 13 said in a statement that India is 'deeply' concerned about the situation in Iran and Israel and has been 'closely monitoring the evolving situation, including reports related to attacks on nuclear sites.' 'India urges both sides to avoid any escalatory steps. Existing channels of dialogue and diplomacy should be utilised to work towards a de-escalation of the situation and resolving underlying issues. India enjoys close and friendly relations with both the countries and stands ready to extend all possible support,' the statement said. In a video statement on Friday, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a 'very successful opening strike' carried out by Israeli forces.
