Taeyang to host 1st solo fan meetup tour
Taeyang of Big Bang is set to host his first solo fan meetings in Japan and Korea, announced agency The Black Label on Tuesday. He is set to greet fans in Seoul on July 26 before heading over to six cities in Japan — Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Shizuoka, Tokyo and Miyagi — through late November. The event's title, '01,' signifies both his first event that places fans at the forefront and "eternity." When combining the Korean word for zero (yeong) with "one," it reads as "yeongwon," the Korean word for eternal. Taeyang's return to fans in Japan comes less than a year after holding concerts in Tokyo and Osaka for his 'The Light Year' tour. Launched in August last year and ending with an encore gig in February, the tour was his first as a solo act in seven years.
