YSA denounces silence on Gaza, backs regional resistance

Saba Yemen2 days ago

Sana'a - Saba:
The Yemeni Scholars Association on Thursday issued a strong condemnation of the sanctity and reprehensibility of silence regarding the ongoing crimes, starvation, thirst, and genocide in Gaza.
In a statement, the YSA asserted that the religious obligation to support Gaza intensifies with every new casualty and every day that passes, despite the inaction of numerous Muslim nations and regimes.
The YSA declared that there is no excuse for leaders, armies, and peoples across the Muslim world to refrain from "jihadist movement" to aid the oppressed, deliver humanitarian supplies, and stand with the just Palestinian cause, which it described as "the epitome of truth and a distinguishing mark between faith and hypocrisy."
Furthermore, the statement expressed absolute support for the Yemeni Armed Forces' "great jihadist operations" and the leadership's "firm and principled decision" to back Gaza.
The YSA's statement noted that these operations cause "great concern to the Zionists and protect the Yemeni people from divine wrath that will befall those who remain indifferent.
The Yemeni Scholars Association also extended its warning to the Syrian and Lebanese people, urging them to recognize the Zionist threat and direct their animosity towards it before it consolidates its occupation and expands its ambitions.
In this context, the YSA deemed the preservation of Hezbollah's weapons a "religious and humanitarian duty.
Addressing recent escalations and threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the association affirmed its solidarity and support for Iran's right to respond to any aggression. It called upon Islamic regimes and peoples to stand with Iran against any escalation, considering such solidarity an act of faith.
The statement concluded by emphasizing that adherence to Islam and the Quran necessitates all Islamic nations to hasten their support for Gaza, stand in solidarity with Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Hezbollah against any aggression or conspiracy, and resist American and Western threats.
The association explicitly stated that no cooperation or participation in aggression against Iran is permissible, and that Iran possesses the legitimate right to defend itself and target American bases in the region if attacked.

IRGC: Dozens of ballistic missiles hit strategic targets in Occupied entity

Tehran – Saba: The IRGC has announced in its second statement on Friday evening that dozens of ballistic missiles hit strategic targets in the heart of the Israeli enemy entity. The statement explained that "the missile and drone units of the IRGC Aerospace Force, using precise and intelligent systems, targeted the military centers and air bases that were the source of the criminal attack on our country." It added: "The military industrial centers used by the Zionist entity's army specifically to produce missiles and other military equipment and weapons to commit crimes against the resistant peoples of the region, especially the oppressed Palestinian people and Gaza, were also targeted, along with other military targets deep within the occupied territories." The statement added: "Field reports, satellite images, and intelligence information indicate that dozens of ballistic missiles effectively hit strategic targets. Despite the enemy's claims to have intercepted them, it failed to counter the waves of missile attacks launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran." It added, "Operation True Promise 3, in response to the orders of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and the demands of the honorable Iranian people, is part of the Islamic Republic of Iran's response to the blood of innocents." The statement emphasized that this operation was carried out with force and determination, in coordination with all agencies and armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, noting that "its main message is that the security of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the red line of the armed forces." Zionist enemy tightens closure on West Bank cities

West Bank – Saba: Zionist enemy forces tightened the closure in the West Bank on Friday evening, closing more entrances and intersections in Salfit, Nablus, northern al-Quds, and Tulkarm, as part of ongoing measures to restrict Palestinian movement. According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, Zionist enemy forces opened fire on Palestinian citizens at the entrance to the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit, as they attempted to cross the iron gates there. An Zionist enemy bulldozer also closed one of the entrances to the town of Jinsafut, east of Qalqilya, while herds of Zionist settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles in the Ramin and Barqa plains, north of the West Bank. This coincided with the Zionist enemy forces storming the town of Zeita, north of Tulkarm, and deploying in the western neighborhood of the town. UN: Gaza Humanitarian Foundation fails to carry out humanitarian action

Geneva – Saba: The United Nations condemned on Friday the work of the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," which is supported by the Israeli entity and the United States. During a press conference in Geneva, Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), said that this organization, which distributes food supplies in the Gaza Strip under often chaotic conditions, has failed to carry out humanitarian work. He said, "The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, in terms of humanitarian principles, has failed. They are not doing what a humanitarian operation is supposed to do, which is to provide assistance to people where they are, in a safe manner." According to the United Nations, distributing food and essential supplies in the besieged and devastated Gaza Strip after more than twenty months of continuous Israeli aggression has become increasingly difficult and dangerous in the Palestinian territories threatened by famine. According to Laerke, "The United Nations is prepared to resume large-scale humanitarian aid operations as soon as Israel allows a sufficient number of aid trucks to pass through." As of Thursday, 245 Palestinians were martyred and 2,125 others were injured by Israeli enemy army fire near aid distribution sites run by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation." With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. This has resulted in the deaths of 55,207 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 127,821 others, as of Thursday, according to a preliminary toll. Thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
