Sana'a - Saba: The First Deputy Prime Minister, Allama Mohammed Muftah, inaugurated on Wednesday the Eid sacrifice distribution project implemented by the Martyrs' Foundation, targeting 1,500 of the most impoverished families of martyrs. During the launch, Allama Muftah praised the efforts of the Martyrs' Foundation in executing numerous projects, including the Eid sacrifice initiative for martyrs' families, as part of the Economic Empowerment Project carried out by the foundation. He called on philanthropists and merchants to support the Eid sacrifice project to enable the foundation to reach a larger number of martyrs' and missing persons' families. For his part, Saleh Al-Khawlani, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, commended the Martyrs' Foundation's role in serving the families of martyrs, emphasizing that the Yemeni people today live under the blessings of their sacrifices in defending the homeland. He noted that, thanks to the blood of the martyrs, Yemen stands today with greatness alongside their brothers in the Gaza Strip, supporting their just cause. He stressed the importance of continuing such projects and others in various fields, including education and health. In turn, Hassan Jaran, the Executive Director of the Martyrs' Foundation, explained that the Eid sacrifice project targets 1,500 of the most impoverished families of martyrs across various provinces, with a total budget of 200 million Yemeni riyals. He indicated that approximately 85% of the sacrifices will be distributed in-kind, except for four provinces: Lahj, Al-Dhale', Shabwa, and parts of Taiz. Jaran pointed out that this year's project is distinguished by the fact that the sacrifices were purchased from the families of martyrs as part of the Economic Empowerment Project, supported by the Martyrs' Foundation, donors, and merchants. Dhamar holds speech event to commemorate Wilayah Day

Dhamar - Saba: The branch of the General Authority of Endowments in Dhamar province, in collaboration with the Education and Guidance sectors, organized a speech event to commemorate Wilayah Day. During the event, Faisal Al-Hatfi, Director of the Endowments Office in Dhamar, highlighted the importance of reviving this occasion, which reaffirms allegiance to the guardianship of Allah, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the guiding leaders. He noted that the Yemeni people have celebrated this occasion for centuries, passing down the honor of commemorating it from generation to generation. Al-Hatfi emphasized that the principle of Wilayah (guardianship) in Islam ensures the steadfastness of the divine path and protects the nation from subversion. He explained, "The guardianship of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) connects us to the guardianship of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which in turn links us to the guardianship of Allah Almighty. This clearly underscores the significance of the principle of Wilayah in Islam." Al-Hatfi added that the forces of tyranny, represented by the U.S., Israel, and their tools, are mobilizing their vast resources to carry out the largest distortion of human society, aiming to enslave it and impose their dark rule. This embodies the conflict between truth and falsehood, between the believers and the enemies of Allah who have aligned themselves with the forces of tyranny. For his part, Abdullah Mashrah, Head of the Guidance Sector in the governorate, pointed out that one of the most important manifestations of Wilayah is supporting the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. He noted that the Yemeni people have earned the honor of standing with the Palestinian people in Gaza, who are facing a genocidal crime unparalleled in history. Mashrah explained that one of the main reasons some Arab regimes have normalized relations with the Zionist entity is their abandonment and denial of the principle of Wilayah. Meanwhile, Ismail Al-Washli, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, highlighted the efforts of the Zionist Jewish lobby, the U.S., and their affiliates to spread vice, corruption, and oppression, as well as to engineer crises, aiming to make societies easy prey for exploitation and enslavement. This underscores the importance of Wilayah, which safeguards societies from the rule of tyranny. Al-Washli explained that the principle of Wilayah elevates the nation's awareness and morale to confront tyranny and its tools. He noted that the absence of Wilayah in the Islamic sphere has left it vulnerable to the interference and control of tyrannical forces. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (Local)
