Kerry Katona sparks huge debate with very bold take on Coldplay kiss cam scandal
Kerry Katona has shared her unpopular opinion on infidelity after Tech tycoon Andy Byron and his Astronomer colleague Kristin Cabot went viral at a Coldplay concert last week.
The now viral clip in question showed CEO Byron and HR staffer Cabot appear on a 'kiss cam' during the band's show in Boston last week. The pair had been in an embrace, but once they realised they were on the big screen, they leapt out of each other's arms, seemingly in a panic.
Cabot covered her face with her hands as Byron crouched down to stop his face being in view. He also appeared to say 'f****** hell, it's me."
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin had some theories, and speaking into the microphone, he quipped: 'Oh, what… either they're having an affair or they're just very shy."
Following the incident, a statement claiming to be from Byron hit out at Coldplay for showing the moment. But his company has since revealed the statement was fake.
The CEO has since resigned after he was caught appearing to canoodle with his Head of HR at the Coldplay concert in the US, the company confirmed over the weekend. The tech firm said its boss had tendered his resignation, and the board of directors had accepted it.
Following the controversy, Kerry, 44, has shared her own unique perspective on infidelity. Speaking of the CEO's alleged affair with his employee, Kerry said: "I can't believe Chris Martin caught a couple looking cosy at one of Coldplay's concerts in Boston and they ended up on a big screen in front of millions of fans. Then the video went viral. There were rumours of an affair."
Kerry then lifted the lid on the affair she had while married to her ex husband Mark Croft, admitting that it was the 'best thing' she ever did. The mum-of-five even went as far as to say that the affair 'saved' her life.
"Yes, I had an affair myself once, while I was married to my second husband, Mark Croft, and it was the best thing I ever did. I'd say it probably saved my life," Kerry confessed when comparing her affair to Andy Byron's alleged infidelity with his employee.
Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry split from Mark in 2011 after less than four years of marriage. Kerry cheated on him with ex Royal Marine Kevin Greent after they met at the GI Jane Bootcamp, but she has said the affair was "the best thing I ever did".
Speaking candidly about her affair with Greent, Kerry previously said: "We were both married we both fell madly in love with each other he did leave his wife for a little bit but for me that just... It saved my life."
Kerry and Mark, who have children Heidi and Max together, had a turbulent relationship, and Kerry previously blamed him for contributing to her drug use and accused him of stealing her money.
Kerry was also previously married to Westlife singer Brian McFadden from 2002 to 2006, Mark from 2007 to 2011 and the late George Kay from 2014 to 2017.
Reflecting on her love life and failed marriages, Kerry previously told GB News: "I have loved and I've often ended up marrying them, bearing in mind I was only 18 when I met Brian and we were together for seven years when Brian left me.
"With Mark I thought 'oh my god my kids are from a broken home' and I was trying to fulfil my dream as a broken child, and not so much what they needed but not realising that I was enough for my kids and I thought I need to get married and Mark asked me to marry him and I said yes."I thought that will fix everything, that will fix the problem. I thought I'll get married, I'll have some more kids and I'll try and fix what's been broken, and that's a pattern that I continued to do. I did it with my third husband too, and I had another amazing child as well."

Inside Gavin White's life from stunning fiancee to job where another Kerry star is a co-worker
GAVIN White gave the epitome of a captain's display as Kerry outclassed Donegal on All-Ireland final Sunday. The Kingdom skipper was duly named Man of the Match after a barnstorming performance where he set the tone from the opening throw-in of their handsome victory. 4 4 4 4 Upon receiving his individual award from GAA president Jarlath Burns at their team banquet on Sunday night, he conducted an interview with RTE Sport host Joanne Cantwell. In it, the 28-year-old tried to sum up their journey across the 2025 inter-county campaign despite admitting to still being "a bit lost for words." Here, SunSport chronicles his daily life away from the Gaelic football pitch: FIANCEE AND JOB It's been a big 12 months for him as he only got engaged to his long-term partner Tara last year while holidaying in Dubai. However, even when going on a trip abroad somewhere, Kerry football is still at the forefront for the Dr Crokes clubman as he still fit in time to help out a local club by dropping in as a guest trainer. The Middle Eastern GAA club posted at the time: "Thanks to Kerry Senior Footballer Gavin White @gavwhite97 and his new fiancée Tara Casey @tara_casey97 who visited men's training this morning. "Gavin put the lads through their paces ahead of MEL R2 fixtures in Bahrain next weekend. Congrats to Gavin and Tara on their engagement in Dubai this week!" The flying half-back works as a teacher in Killarney's St Brendan's College. It just so happens that another teacher at the school goes by the name of David Clifford. In the build-up to Sunday's showpiece, White talked about how he and his megastar teammate are revelling in passing on their knowledge to the next generation of Kerry footballers. He told "It's different ages you're looking at. Both myself and David are inside the Sem and we do a bit of coaching ourselves. "It's a different angle that you're looking at and different age groups obviously. It's very enjoyable. "I suppose I was with the senior team there with the Hogan Cup in 2022 and that year I was injured for a good chunk of it, so that allowed me to put a bit more time into the Sem." CAPTAIN'S TONE Throughout his MOTM interview it was noticeable how he constantly side-stepped individual kudos in favour of emphasizing what a team achievement this year's success was. Asked if Sunday was the best game he'd ever had in a Kerry jersey, he instead deflected: "Look, you go out there and try and perform as best you can. "But there's plenty of lads here that played exceptionally well today. "Look at Paudie Clifford having 76 possessions across the game, that's absolutely unbelievable. "But look, it was a team performance and our only objective this morning was to bring Sam Maguire back to the Kingdom. "So we're absolutely thrilled with that."
