'Let him suffer, I want to see him suffer': 13-year-old boy 'gang-raped by five private school classmates after prolonged bullying campaign collapsed into mother's arms and became catatonic'

A horrifically bullied 13-year-old boy was allegedly gang-raped by five classmates from a private school while on a sports trip to Malaga - who then blackmailed him into keeping it a secret.
Terrified the bullies would come after his younger sibling at the same school, the traumatised student was reportedly forced to suffer in silence before having a mental breakdown and entering a catatonic state.
After being hospitalised over the course of several weeks, the victim, now 16, had 'chronic post-traumatic stress disorder with severe episodes of dissociative amnesia', it was reported in a Spanish newspaper.
Only one of the alleged attackers has since been charged in Valencia's Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, two years on from the gang-rape.
The cruel group, three of them under 14, had plagued the young boy at school, mocking his glasses or acne and excluded him from events or forced him to sit in the back.
When at home, his phone was then bombarded with pornographic content from an unknown number.
In March 2022, the school based in Valencia put together a sports trip to Southern Spain.
It was there that the sadistic group then allegedly ambushed the 13-year-old in the hotel hallway before locking him in a bathroom where the horror unfolded.
Some members of the sick group reportedly raped the boy, while the others cheered on with the leader hauntingly saying 'let him suffer, let him suffer, I want to see him suffer', according to the reconstruction of the events conducted by the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.
The boy was blackmailed into silence, with threats sent over social media. One member called him more than 300 times.
It was his younger brother that was on the line - who the 13-year-old thought would be next if he told someone about the horrific attack.
The boy was subjected to two months of daily humiliations and threats, eroding his mental health, before he collapsed into the arms of his mother in a catatonic state.
He was taken hospital where he was admitted up to three times over a period of 35 days.
The 13-year-old received psychiatric treatment and has had to work with psychologists to work through his amnesia allegedly triggered by bottling up the horrifying attack.
The psychologist alerted the alleged abuse to the parents and referred the case to the police before alerting the principal of the students' school.
Although the victim recalled the names of the students during his first clinical assessment, he was unable to provide details during a meeting to give an official statement due to the emotional block.
However, his first testimony was supported by two other psychiatrists who had seen the boy during hospital and was told the same encounter.
The youth who has been charge could be looking at a 15 month sentence, as well as two years of supervised release and to undergo a sexual education program.
But the members of the group are either too young to be held criminally responsible or invoked their right not to testify as their involvement has not yet been proven.
A sixth potential attacker may still be at large but police were unable to uncover his identity thanks to the suspect's lack of information shared during interrogations.
Another minor has been investigated over harassment and threats to the victim to stop them from speaking out.
A teacher at the school, which the victim and siblings left once the case became public knowledge, said: 'Everyone at school knows a student was raped.
'The principal banned trips and overnight activities outside of Valencia after the complaint, ten children in the same grade left the school, and the members of the parent-teacher association resigned.'

Three boys aged 12 to 13 'who gang-raped Jewish girl while hurling anti-Semitic insults and condemning Israel' go on trial in France

Three boys aged 12 to 13 who 'gang-raped' a Jewish girl in an abandoned hanger in a Paris suburb while hurling anti-Semitic insults at her will go on trial. The trial is part of an investigation into 'gang rape, death threats, insults, and anti-Semitic violence.' It will take place behind closed doors inside a juvenile court. Last June, local prosecutors opened an investigation into the rape and the alleged perpetrators were identified as three boys aged 12, 13 and 14 from Rueil-Malmaison, in the Hauts-de-Seine suburb northwest of the French capital. The boys were charged with counts of aggravated rape, aggravated sexual assault, attempted extortion, invasion of privacy, threat of death, violence and insults. With the latter two being aggravated due to them admitting the attack was related to the girl's religion. The 12-year-old girl from Courbevoie, also in Hauts-de-Seine reported the rape to police in June 2024. She said she went to the Henri Regnault square with her boyfriend when three teenagers grabbed her and took her to an abandoned hangar on the site of an old nursery nearby. The three boys allegedly beat the girl and insulted her religion before raping her. She told police that she had been called a 'dirty Jew' by her attackers, who had asked her questions about Israel. The boys appeared in front of the police and reportedly admitted to the rape. Afterwards rallies against anti-Semitism were organised across the country. According to the French Ministry of the Interior, in 2024, a total of 1,570 anti-Semitic acts were recorded in France.

Daughter of Benidorm attack victim in plea for answers

The daughter of a British man who died after being attacked by a stranger in a Spanish resort city in 2018 has renewed her call for information to help find his killer. Mike Rydings, 48, from Wythenshawe in Manchester, was celebrating a friend's 50th birthday and watching the World Cup at a bar in Benidorm when he was set upon in the early hours of 23 June. His daughter Hayley Barker said witnesses saw him backing away "with his hands up" before he was punched in the face, leaving him with a broken nose and serious head injures after falling on to the concrete. Mr Rydings was treated in a Spanish hospital before being moved to Salford Royal, but died 14 months later. Ms Barker said an investigation by both Spanish and Greater Manchester Police (GMP) had failed to find identify the attacker, despite GMP interviewing a range of British holidaymakers who were at the Hippodrome Bar at the time. "It makes me feel angry," she told BBC Radio Manchester. "My dad was stolen from me in such cruel circumstances, whoever has done this still gets to live their life."We can't move forward as such because we don't have justice." She called for anyone who may have new information that could help to contact GMP. "It would mean the world - we'd actually get some answers, it's what we deserve as a family," Ms Barker said. GMP said while the investigation was the responsibility of Spanish authorities, they were ready to assist if required. She said her father was 5ft 10ins (1.55m), had a stocky build and was wearing a red Hugo Boss t-shirt and glasses at the time of the attack. While Ms Barker said she had great memories of her dad being "the life and soul of the party" before his attack, her children had no memory of him. She said she was pregnant with her first child, a daughter, when Mr Rydings was attacked. "He never even got to hold her because of the condition he was left in before he passed away," she said. "In 2022 I had a son who would have been his only grandson, so that was very sad." Listen to the best of BBC Radio Manchester on Sounds and follow BBC Manchester on Facebook, X, and Instagram. Mom of three murdered girls' share bizarre Father's Day tribute to killer ex who suffocated them

The mother of the three young girls who were allegedly killed by her now-missing ex-husband shared a bizarre Father's Day tribute to him before their tragic deaths. Whitney Decker made a 20-second video featuring a slideshow of photos of her daughters, Paityn Decker, 9, Evelyn Decker, 8, Olivia Decker, 5, and their father, Travis Decker. The video was made as a Father's Day tribute to her veteran ex-husband who is now wanted on suspicion of murdering their three daughters. Her attorney, Arianna Cozart, provided the video to People. It's unclear when the video, which features Pharrell Williams ' song Happy, was posted. Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia's bodies were found at a campsite in Leavenworth on Monday, after Travis failed to return them after his visitation on Friday. The girls were found 20 miles from their Washington home with their wrists bound with zip ties and each having been suffocated with a plastic bag. Travis reportedly suffers from 'complex PTSD' and 'other mental issues,' and has since been on the run after vanishing into the woods. Yet, the girls' mother spoke out through Cozart and alleged that their murder 'was a tragedy that could've been completely' avoided had officials intervened. She believes 'something broke inside' of Decker and that he 'would not have done what he did if he was himself', Cozart revealed in a heartbreaking statement early Thursday morning. 'He clearly had some sort of break and everything that he had been living with, everything that had been bottled up inside of him for so long as far as trauma, just won out,' Cozart told the Seattle Times. The attorney, speaking on behalf of Whitney, also noted that it was uncharacteristic of Decker not to return his daughters after a scheduled visitation. His 'declining mental health' and 'out-of-character behavior' should have prompted 'enough concern' for an Amber Alert, Cozart argued. She believes authorities should have acknowledged the sisters were 'missing' and in 'substantial danger', even though Decker 'didn't issue an overt threat'. Court documents state that when Whitney reported her daughters missing on Friday, she 'expressed concern' over his out-of-character actions and his alleged deteriorating mental state. Whitney told police Decker was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and believes he did not take medication for the condition, according to court documents. The father-of-three was supposed to seek mental health treatment and anger management counseling as part of a parenting plan, but there was no sign he had followed through, the documents show. Whitney stated in September divorce proceedings that he had been 'struggling to maintain stability' since they separated and it was beginning to affect their daughters. She said that at times he would have the girls sleep at an armory while he was in the National Guard, despite her objections, according to the Seattle Times. She also said Decker - was prone to 'outbursts' and would come into her house yelling for the girls - would sometimes fail to pick up after promising to do so. 'I do not want to keep Travis from the girls at all,' Whitney wrote in the court filing. 'To the contrary, I have bent over backwards to facilitate that relationship. 'But I cannot have our girls staying in what is essentially a homeless shelter, at times unsupervised, with dozens of strange men or staying in a tent or living in his truck with him, both in extreme temperatures and unknown areas for their safety.' But still Whitney reiterated to authorities how she did not believe her ex was dangerous and said he loved his daughters. She said the girls had a, 'good relationship with Decker and enjoy their time with him,' and noted that he had never failed to return the girls before, according to a police affidavit. She said when Decker went to pick up the girls Friday, he was 'quieter than usual' which was 'out of character' for him. He had also allegedly been talking about getting rid of his dog due to housing and financial struggles. On Tuesday, a judge issued a warrant for Decker's arrest and ordered he be held without bail. Authorities swarmed the Rock Island Campground on Monday evening after finding Decker's truck. Chelan County Sheriff's Office deputies found the girls' bodies about 75 to 100 yards from the truck. Police believe the girls died from asphyxiation and reported that their wrists were zip-tied, court documents state. Decker's truck had two bloody handprints on the tailgate, and inside were personal items including blankets, food, car seats and a wallet on the center console, police said. The campground also showed signs of recent activity, with a tent and a cooler located a short distance away, but Decker was nowhere to be found.
