Claudia Winkleman to host star-studded live Traitors experience for Comic Relief

The experience will give fans of the BBC One programme the chance to take their own seat at the roundtable for an evening of missions and murder, alongside a cast of former Traitors players and famous faces.
Among those taking part are comedians Sara Pascoe, Nish Kumar, Ivo Graham and Rosie Jones, radio hosts Scott Mills and Chris Stark, and presenting couple Marvin and Rochelle Humes.
Former Traitors, including season three alumni Leanne Quigley, Linda Rands, Jake Brown, Anna Duke and Freddie Fraser, will also take part in the game in London this autumn.
Winkleman, 53, said: 'I'm so excited about this – a special evening filled with chaos, scheming and dramatic exits.
'The Traitors: Live Experience is going to be completely brilliant, and probably quite tense.
'The best thing about entering this prize draw is that you can help Comic Relief and raise money for all the incredibly important issues they support.
'So, if you've got the nerve, I'd say prepare your best poker face, trust nobody and I'll see you there.'
The TV programme involves the 'faithfuls' attempting to banish the 'traitors', who murder during the night time, in order to win a prize pot of up to £120,000.
During the live game, the traitors and faithfuls will discuss who they think is a traitor during the roundtables, which will consist of a mix of former Traitors players, a celebrity pair and the prize winners.
The game will be followed by a drinks reception in the venue's Traitors-themed bar, the Cloak And Dagger.
Radio 2 presenter Mills, 51, said: 'I absolutely love the show and can't wait to stir up a bit of drama at the roundtable, although I'm not sure how good I'll be at keeping a straight face.
'I'll probably get the giggles at precisely the wrong time. It really is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I hope lots of people enter and help raise money for Comic Relief.'
Samir Patel, chief executive of Comic Relief, added: 'We're excited to launch this incredible prize draw, giving fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the drama and deception of The Traitors world first-hand.
'There's a fantastic, and very competitive, line-up of celebrities and former contestants waiting in the wings to take on our winners and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
'Money raised by the entries will help support vital work in the UK and around the world to provide essentials like healthcare and safe shelter. Best of luck to everyone who enters.'
The Traitors has won various awards, including at the Bafta TV Awards in 2023 when host Winkleman won best entertainment performance.
The programme is based on a Dutch format called De Verraders and involves contestants trying to identify and banish their killer counterparts, selected by Winkleman.
Comedy duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders featured in a Traitors sketch for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day in 2023.
The evening will be held at The Traitors: Live Experience in Covent Garden, London, on Monday September 22.
The experience will not be televised but there will be video captured for social media use, the PA news agency understands.
The event has been created by For One Night Only (FONO) and members of the public can enter a prize draw at foronenightonly.org to be in with the chance of playing the game.
More celebrity participants will be announced in due course.

The guerilla artist behind Glasgow's hilarious fake street signs reveals why he does it

The anonymous artist has placed spoof signs near Glasgow landmarks to make people smile and notice their surroundings A mysterious artist has been quietly placing spoof street signs across Glasgow, aiming to bring a moment of surprise and humour to those who stumble upon them. ‌ The anonymous creative, who goes by the name @ASignOfHumour, has installed dozens of handmade signs near city landmarks. The sites of some of his more prominent signs include the Barrowland Ballroom, the Finnieston Crane, and the Glasgow Science Centre. ‌ Each sign is intended to make people pause, laugh and take in their surroundings, and maybe even look up from their phones. What began as a light-hearted way to spark joy has become a larger project for the artist. ‌ He revealed to the BBC that his work has been inspired by a growing sense that many people were missing the beauty of Glasgow. 'The main goal is to spark joy,' he said. 'But it really started as a response to a lack of appreciation for Glasgow and its surroundings.' ‌ Though his real identity remains under wraps, the artist admits his children are in on the secret. 'The kids know because I will run designs past them to get their opinions and things, but they're very much under secrecy not to tell people about it,' he said. 'If it's done anonymously then it's about the sign, it kind of adds to the fun.' Made from painted plywood and topped with custom vinyl lettering, the signs are installed using cable ties so they can be easily removed without damage. ‌ Sustainability is a key part of the project, with materials chosen to be recyclable and reusable. Unlike traditional graffiti, the signs are placed in a way that avoids interfering with traffic or cluttering busy areas. Most are found on footpaths, near rivers, in quiet parks, or along cycle routes, where passers-by can take a moment to enjoy them without distraction. ‌ Glasgow has a long-standing reputation for public art and murals, and recently hosted the UK's first major exhibition of Banksy's work. While this new artist admires Banksy, he says his approach is different. 'I love Banksy's work, but this is more about subtle moments of silliness and connection,' he said. ‌ Among the signs already placed around the city, some of the artist's favourites include a Doctor Who-themed design beside a police box, a warning about pterodactyl nesting near the dome-shaped IMAX cinema, and a sign that depicts the OVO Hydro arena as a spaceship. A few have even appeared outside the city, in places such as Largs and Bonnybridge, the latter known as the UK's UFO hotspot. ‌ Some of his creations have gained attention online, with one in particular going viral on Instagram. He said: 'People post photographs of them on their own feeds and I noticed that one of them seems to have gone absolutely viral, so it's got people from all over the world commenting on it,' he said. Despite the guerrilla nature of the installations, he has never run into trouble. He says he would willingly remove any sign if asked. Looking ahead, the artist hopes to take his signs further afield, with plans to visit Edinburgh during the city's August festivals.

Danny Dyer's earnings 'unveiled' after being 'skint' before landing EastEnders role

Danny Dyer has earned a huge fortune thanks to his work in TV and film, but the actor has been honest about his financial woes in the past Danny Dyer 's impressive earnings have reportedly been disclosed, following a series of successful roles in popular shows over the past year. ‌ The 48 year old star, known for his performances in Mean Machine and Football Factory, has been candid about his financial struggles in the past, confessing he hit a rough patch before securing his role on EastEnders. ‌ Danny was cast as Mick Carter in the BBC One soap in 2013 and remained a regular in Walford until 2022, when his character mysteriously disappeared at sea. ‌ Since leaving EastEnders, Danny has secured a number of acting roles. He's starred in ITV 's Rivals and Sky's Mr. Bigstuff, which earned him a BAFTA for his performance. Thanks to this success, Danny's amassed a substantial fortune, with accounts filed at Companies House revealing that his company, Arty Bucco, made £1.4 million in the last financial year, reports OK!. ‌ These figures show Danny has made an impressive £712,221 more than the previous year, according to MailOnline. In addition to his acting income, Danny's also earned money from hosting shows such as The Wall and Scared of the Dark. He's also appeared in documentaries like Danny Dyer's Right Royal Family and participated in shows such as Celebrity Gogglebox and The Assembly. ‌ However, Danny's wealth hasn't always been so vast, with the actor admitting he was struggling financially before landing his role in EastEnders in 2013. Previously speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show, Danny admitted: "I didn't have an audition, they rung me up, I had a touch. They said, 'Listen we want you to come in the show, take over the Queen Vic' and at the time I was skint and I just had about enough petrol money to get there, that's the truth. "They thought I was a multimillionaire and I met them in the hotel and I walked in absolutely skint, not a bean about me. I thought, I hope they don't ask me to get them a lager because I've got no dough." He confessed that he attempted to "play down" his enthusiasm at being offered the part, as he didn't want to "look desperate" in front of BBC executives. He added: "I went, 'I'll think about it' and then I walked out and I did a couple of backflips on the way out! I played it right down, I didn't want to look desperate and I was desperate."
