Kites from Kudla to soar at kite festival in France
Mangaluru: Team Mangalore, a hobby group of kite flyers led by Sarvesh Rao from Mangaluru, is all set to represent India at the world's biggest international kite festival, scheduled to be held in France from Sept 13. Known for their culturally themed giant kites, the team will showcase a chariot-shaped kite known as 'Kudla Ratha' and another highlighting the importance of water conservation titled 'Water is Life', continuing their tradition of blending Indian heritage with environmental messages on a global stage.
