Jennifer Lopez Wears Head-To-Toe Black Leather to Sundance Film Festival
On Saturday, Jennifer Lopez shared an Instagram Reel of her all-black leather look for a night at the Sundance Film Festival. In the post, the star is wearing a round leather cap, a long leather trench coat with a small cape, and a pair of black stiletto boots. Under the coat, she wore a long-sleeved black top and black pants. J.Lo accessorized with a pair of aviator sunglasses, black gloves, and wide silver hoops.
The star posed on a balcony against the gorgeous snowy landscape of Park City, Utah, seeming to enjoy the flurries that were coming down around her. Her film Kiss of the Spider Woman is set to premiere at the popular festival. The film was produced by her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and his close friend, Matt Damon. She captioned the post, 'Ready to Sundance.'
Later that same day, she made an appearance with DJ Chase B at TAO, during a Casamigos party. The star wore a camel two-piece with a cropped top that showed off her toned torso.
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024. According to court documents acquired by People and Us Weekly in early January, they are now officially divorced, agreeing to a settlement on January 6.
In December, a source told Page Six that the former couple are planning to stay 'connected' post-divorce.
'They have every intention of continuing to be in each other's lives despite not being romantically involved,' the insider stated. 'Ben and Jennifer are still connected and they do communicate when it involves their kids.'
Lopez shares her twins Max and Emme with former husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck shares his three children, Seraphina, Violet, and Samuel, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. During their marriage, Lopez and Affleck attempted to unite their families and reportedly remain connected.
The source added that Lopez and Affleck 'have a mutual respect for one another,' which is 'not something that goes away.'
'Obviously things haven't been the same, but they have a lot of history,' the insider continued, explaining 'they're bound to spend time together.'
'Ben and Jennifer remain amicable whenever they do see each other,' they explained. 'They're still close with each other's children, and even though they don't have a co-parenting type of relationship, they still feel like a blended family in a lot of ways.'

During an appearance on the upcoming June 10 episode of the 'Not a Damn Chance!' podcast, via a sneak peek by People magazine, the 41-year-old former Disney star recalled the terrifying incident while she was shooting clay pigeons with her husband, Brendan Rooney, for his birthday. Asked how it happened, Romano explained she was not 'at liberty to say specifics,' according to People. The actress previously revealed on Instagram that she was 'hit in five places,' including below her eye. Romano shared details for the first time about what transpired. 'It's a birdshot that got sprayed in my direction by another party, and essentially it was within 200 feet, which means really fast and hot,' she told hosts Neen Williams and Frankland Lee. 'They weren't malicious,' Romano clarified. 'It wasn't aggravated assault. It's what happened.' The 'Kim Possible' alum recalled that, out of habit, she gave Rooney a thumbs-up immediately after she was shot. 'He was like, 'Oh, you're good.' And I was like, 'No I'm hit.' He goes, 'Oh s—,'' Romano recalled of her husband's reaction. 'He was immediately into action mode, evaluating me and ran to get the car. 'I felt this huge rush that I'd never felt before where I was starting to get really woozy. I think it was shock.' Romano told the hosts she didn't experience any pain initially and described the thoughts that were running through her head, including her fears her children might be affected. The actress shares daughters Isabella, 7, and Sofia, 5, with Rooney. 'I was covered in blood from my forehead … and I said three things. I was like, 'Am I gonna die? Who's gonna take care of the girls? Is my career over?'' she recalled. Romano explained that she came close to being blinded or killed. 'If my head would've been tilted in any other direction, I would have been blind in my right eye. Or if I had turned my head, I could have gotten hit in a softer side of my skull, and I would have potentially been dead,' Romano said. 'It's still in my eye,' she said of the pellets from the shotgun. 'I have a fragment still in my forehead, and I have a fragment still behind my eye, which is 1 millimeter away from blinding me.' During her podcast interview, Romano told hosts she put on a brave face at first and was making jokes about her medical crisis after she arrived at the hospital. 'In retrospect, I was trying to be funny and not cry because I wanted the people around me to feel more calm so that they could take better care of me,' Romano said. The former Broadway star admitted that it has been difficult to accept she is a 'gunshot survivor.' Clay pigeon shooting is an outdoor sport in which upside-down circular disks made of limestone and pitch used as targets are propelled into the air by machines called traps. Shooters use shotguns, with each shot projecting hundreds of small lead balls to hit the clay pigeons. The sport is typically not considered dangerous as long as safety measures are follow.

He was 91. The pioneering journalist and St. Louis native died on Sunday, June 1, at Weill Cornell, according to an online obituary. Burgheim began his career in journalism at Harvard University, where he served as sports editor of The Harvard Crimson, the Ivy League university's student newspaper, as well as the campus stringer for the Associated Press. He went on to become a writer for TIME magazine, where he worked for many years, and was later tapped by Richard B. Stolley, a Managing Editor, to serve as a Senior Editor for the then-soon-to-be-launched PEOPLE years ago. PEOPLE first hit newsstands in March 1974. In the decades since, PEOPLE has grown to become the iconic brand it is known as today — expanding from a newsstand-only publication to now include digital news coverage and social media coverage, as well as a new app, among other ventures. WorldPride 2025 hosts 50th Anniversary Capital Pride event

Photo by Leigh Vogel/UPI | License Photo June 7 (UPI) -- Thousands converged to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Capital Pride Parade Saturday in Washington, D.C., amid an extended WorldPride LGBTQ+ celebration. The two-day WorldPride Music Fest and parade marked Saturday's portion of a three-day celebration of Capital Pride that concludes on Sunday. The event is billed as the "world's largest LGBTQ+" celebration and includes a music festival that is being held on three stages and features performers like Jennifer Lopez. "Over the years, your love and your support have been a source of strength for me, and today I am here to celebrate with you," Lopez said during her performance Friday night at the event's RFK Campus Festival Grounds. "I'm so happy to be able to be here to celebrate community, diversity, love and freedom," Lopez told her audience. Paris Hilton, Marina, Rita Ora and several other acts also performed on Friday. Musical acts scheduled to perform on Saturday include RuPaul, Troye Sivan and Rene Rapp, Sofi Tukker, Purple Disco Machineand others. Saturday's Capital Pride Parade began at 2 p.m. EDT and lasted for six hours as it proceeded from the intersection of 14th and T Street N.W. and through Thomas Circle before turning onto Pennsylvania Avenue and concluding near the Navy Memorial. Spectators and visitors filled restaurants and drinking establishments along the parade route. Parade participants included cheerleaders, a 300-member choir and volunteers holding a 1,000-foot rainbow flag. Deacon Maccubbin, who organized the first Capital Pride Parade in 1975, served as the parade's grand marshal. So did actresses ReneeRapp and Laverne Cox. Singer and actress Cynthia Erivo was scheduled to headline a parade-ending concert at 3rd Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. The extended WorldPride event annually rotates among leading world cities and got underway on May 17 in Washington, D.C. The event concludes on Sunday with a rally and march that begins at the Lincoln Memorial and ends at the U.S. Capitol.
