Selena Gomez Looks Forward to Working With Benny Blanco on ‘Whatever Projects They Can Dream Up'
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are excited after recording an album together and a source exclusively spills to Life & Style it's just the start of their superstar brand plans – which she's confident will make him just as big a star as she is!
'Selena thinks Benny is a genius in every way, she feels so lucky to be marrying him and believes the sky will be the limit for them as a couple,' the source says. 'She's confident that with the exposure she can give Benny he will finally get the recognition he deserves as not just a producer but an artist.'
'She loves doing everything with him so it makes sense she wants to make music with him and whatever other projects they can dream up,' continues the source.
Another thing the former Wizards of Waverly Place actress, 32, has considered is 'doing a men's line for Rare,' her cosmetics company which she founded in September 2020.
'Benny takes great care of his skin, so a men's skincare line is something that would be authentic,' the source notes.
The happy couple have also discussed working on a television show together, like a docuseries 'but not salacious,' adds the source.
'A making of the album series is a strong contender,' the source reveals. 'Selena already has more than enough money to last a lifetime but she's a go-getter and she loves the idea of her and Benny being a power couple.'
Selena and Benny's new album, I Said I Love You First – a reference to the 'Lose You to Love Me' singer being the first one to say those words to Benny, 37, in their relationship – was released on March 21.
During a sit-down with Interview, Benny explained that they enjoy working together, but they decided if their music partnership ever got 'weird' between them, they would 'cancel it' immediately.
'I definitely didn't feel any sort of pressure,' Selena clarified. 'I was maybe just nervous with jitters in the beginning, and then slowly but surely it was happening and it sort of fell into place with a lot of hard work and love.'
Benny added, 'We also just made it in this house. We weren't going to a studio every day. I'd be like, 'Hey, I have this cool chord thing.' Then she'd come in. We weren't like, 'Today's the studio. We're going to write this song and that.' So many times, it was so hodgepodge. It was like two hours here, two hours there. I'd never worked that way with someone. Usually I work that way if I'm by myself, but it was so cool to be able to do that with her.'
As Life & Style previously reported, Selena and Benny's partnership began as a friendship and artistic collaboration, but it turned romantic in June 2023. They publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram in December of that year and announced their engagement one year later in December 2024.
'Selena can't wait to marry Benny,' an insider exclusively told Life & Style on March 6. 'Selena envisions it as her and Benny's forever home. They want to one day tell their kids about their fabulous backyard wedding with their friends and family!'

Rams lifting contest: Aaron Donald vs. Jared Verse?
Rams edge rusher Jared Verse appeared to lay down a workout challenge for retired Aaron Donald, a future Hall of Famer, during an appearance on the "Adam Schefter Podcast" on Wednesday. (Kyusung Gong / Associated Press) During his rookie season, Rams edge rusher Jared Verse established himself as one of the NFL's most boisterous players — and also a force to be reckoned with ala former Rams star Aaron Donald. So it should be no surprise that Verse, the NFL defensive rookie of the year, unabashedly if not kiddingly sounded Wednesday as if he was challenging Donald, a future Hall of Famer and legendary training maven, to a workout duel. Advertisement During an appearance on the 'Adam Schefter Podcast,' Verse was asked if he could work out with Donald during the offseason. 'No, he don't want that,' Verse said. 'He's not ready for that.' Verse did not stop. 'That little 500 bench he had. He's not ready for that,' Verse said. 'Hey, I'll be moving weight. I'll be moving weight.' Read more: Rams' Jared Verse and Braden Fiske look to run it back again So Donald can't keep up with you right now? Schefter asked. 'Hey, whenever he's ready for a workout,' Verse said. 'Man, I'll be seeing his little Instagram posts, the benches, the dumbbell benches. Hey, he can get me whenever he's ready.' Advertisement Donald playfully responded in a video on social media. 'Somebody put the word out,' Donald said. 'I'm looking for you, Verse. I'm looking for you. Come to the house. I just want to talk. I just want to talk, that's it. 'Nothing much, big dog. That's it. Just a little conversation. Put in a little weights. Do a little cardio. You know, the old-man retirement workout. Let's put you through it. See what you can do. I just want to talk. This Titanic Polk Street Gay Bar Just Got Pulled Back from the Brink
Polk Street, where the first San Francisco Pride parade marched in 1970, just got great news: The last remaining gay bar in Polk Gulch got a big stimulus injection from a new owner. The Cinch Saloon, an icon in the area alongside the Grubstake Diner, opened in 1974. Now it'll get a second life from Scott Taylor, a beverage director at nearby Harris' Restaurant for 23 years. The news is more than just timely, given Pride. According to the San Francisco Chronicle , rumors had been in the air that the Cinch would close any day. One of the two former owners died in 2023. This Tuesday, June 3 announcement gives a spark of hope to the area that, once upon a time, was just as important a gayborhood as the Castro. Drag main character Juanita More told the paper she'd help Taylor keep the Cinch around 'for a hundred years.'
