#SHOWBIZ: Chris Martin leaves fans in frenzy after cryptic shout-out to ex-girlfriend Dakota Johnson
Daily Mail reported yesterday that the 48-year-old singer, who was with the 35-year-old actress for eight years, has reportedly split from her.
"Thank you so much, everybody," Martin told the crowd at Allegiant Stadium, before unexpectedly referencing Johnson's latest film.
"Be kind to yourself, be kind to each other. Don't forget to see Materialists. We love you!" Martin said in a video shared by Deuxmoi.
While the person who uploaded the video appeared to believe that Martin and Johnson had not broken up, many fans seemed to disagree.
"I can totally see him supporting her even after the break-up," said one fan.
"You can break up with someone and still be supportive. Look at him and Gwyneth Paltrow," another commented.
Martin and Johnson began seeing each other in 2017, but the intensely private couple did not confirm their relationship until some time later.

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris, 27, calls off engagement to bandmate Justin Long
Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has called off her engagement to bandmate Justin Long, weeks after confirming they had a date and venue selected. The King of Pop's only daughter, 27, announced the news Thursday when countering Daily Mail's speculation that recent photos of her crying were due to the anniversary of Jackson's 2009 death. 'Those are breakup tears,' the 'bandaid' singer tweeted in response to the outlet. 'Y'all are fkn reaching again.' Paris Jackson did not elaborate on the cause nor date of the split, though the remarks come just over a month after she told Access Hollywood that she and Long – not to be confused with the Barbarian and Dodgeball star of the same name – had already selected a venue for their wedding. 'We're planning, the dress is being made, the date has been picked by an astrologer, because I'm from LA,' said Jackson in mid-June. Jackson announced the engagement news in early December, in a since-deleted birthday tribute to Long. The Instagram carousel featured a snap of him on one knee. The former couple's 'indescribable whirlwind' romance reportedly kicked off in 2022. Just over a week after going public with the happy news, Jackson had another milestone to celebrate in early January, when she commemorated '5 years clean & sober from all drugs and alcohol.' The Daily News has reached out to reps for Jackson for comment. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service

Anthony Hopkins mocks Kim Kardashian's SKIMS face wrap with chilling Hannibal Lecter parody
LOS ANGELES, Aug 1 — Sir Anthony Hopkins has gone viral for mocking Kim Kardashian's new SKIMS face wrap by reviving his Oscar-winning Hannibal Lecter character, the Daily Mail reported. In a video posted on Instagram, the 86-year-old actor donned a nude post-surgical mask eerily similar to the one Kardashian unveiled this week as part of her SKIMS 'Ultimate Face' line — a sculpting wrap designed to tighten and lift the face. 'Hello Kim, I'm already feeling 10 years younger. Goodbye,' Hopkins said, mimicking his famous line from The Silence of the Lambs while wearing the mask. He ended the clip with a chilling slurp, referencing Lecter's infamous 'fava beans and Chianti' scene. The post was captioned: 'Thank you, Kim. Don't be afraid to come over for dinner.' The parody lit up social media, with fans calling it 'the Hannibal reboot we didn't think we needed' and 'the most important cultural event to happen this decade.' 'Are you having Kim for dinner?' one commenter joked. Another wrote: 'Anthony Hopkins dissing Kim wasn't on my bingo list.' While some fans praised the post as brilliant publicity for Kardashian's shapewear brand, others doubled down on their criticism of the product, which many claimed looked like something out of a horror film. 'Is it April Fools?' one asked. Another quipped: 'What in the Hannibal is this?' 'Kim: New Hannibal Lecter nylon face wrap just dropped!!!' a commenter wrote sarcastically, referencing the chaotic state of global affairs. The product, which promises facial sculpting benefits, triggered a flood of bemused and angry comments online, including: 'There's a 16-year-old girl out there thinking she needs to buy this crap,' and 'SKIMS: Making women feel bad about themselves since 2018.' Despite the backlash, the item sold out on the SKIMS website the day it launched. One social media user took aim at Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, writing: 'If this works so well, why didn't Kris use this instead of spending thousands on a facelift?' Jenner's representative confirmed earlier this year that she underwent a procedure by celebrity surgeon Dr Steven M. Levine. The parody came amid fresh criticism of Kardashian, after a widely mocked runway appearance at Balenciaga's recent Paris Fashion Week show. While her sister Kendall Jenner is a seasoned catwalk model, Kim's stiff walk sparked laughter online. 'Go Kim, give us nothing,' one fan commented. Another said: 'This is how I walk after two margaritas trying not to look drunk.' Yet, in typical Kardashian fashion, the controversy appears only to have boosted sales — and now, even Lecter is in on the conversation.

J.Lo suffers wardrobe mishap in concert: 'I don't usually wear underwear'
Jennifer Lopez has been garnering plenty of publicity for her risque shows. Photo: TNS Jennifer Lopez seems to be feeling like herself these days, upon turning 56 and in the aftermath of her high-profile divorce from Ben Affleck — enough that she continued her recent trend of sex-forward displays in her Up All Night world tour by letting the world know that she doesn't wear underwear. This revelation came amid a wardrobe malfunction during Lopez's show in Warsaw, Poland, Friday night, as People reported. The mega-star entertainer came on stage during a moment when her band and back-up singers and dancers got the crowd to sing Happy Birthday to her. Lopez was wearing a glittery, gold skirt that a dancer had apparently just tied on, but it fell to the stage floor, revealing that she was wearing glittery, gold underpants, according to a video posted to her official YouTube channel. Lopez didn't let the potentially embarrassing wardrobe mishap phase her and even found a way to use it for this show-stopping, 'surprise moment,' as she billed it on YouTube. She flashed a big smile and strutted around the stage in her self-described 'underwear,' waving her arms and pulling off a little spin. After a dancer approached her to reattach the skirt, Lopez waved him off. 'I'm out here in my underwear,' Lopez jokingly proclaimed. 'I'm glad I had underwear on. I don't usually wear underwear,' Lopez revealed. Of course, the 'underwear' also could be seen as bikini bottoms, or short shorts, that are part of the costume and not designed to be that revealing. But Lopez, who played a pole dancer in the acclaimed 2019 film Hustlers , seemed to revel in the idea that she was being risque, as she tossed the skirt into the crowd and told fans to 'keep it.' Lopez has been garnering plenty of publicity for her show, and for the suggestive things she says about her sex life and for the 'X-rated' dance moves she does with some of her male dancers, as the Daily Mail reported. She incited the ire of pro-Trump SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly, who took to X last week to angrily share a clip from one of Lopez's recent performances. The clip showed Lopez straddling one of her dancer's shoulders with her crotch in his face. 'So she's a soft porn star now,' Kelly wrote alongside the video.
