Michelle Randolph to star in horror thriller 'Malibu'; reports

, known for her roles in the TV series '1923' and 'Landman', is in talks to star in 'Malibu', a horror thriller that
Tod Williams
will direct.
Roy Lee and Steven Schneider are producing the low-budget thriller via their banner, Spooky Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The plot details are kept under wraps, but it is described as a "thriller skulking around in the subterranean horror subgenre". The shoot will start later this year.
The project marks a reunion between Williams and Schneider. The former directed Paranormal Activity 2, part of the successful horror franchise for which Schneider served as producer and executive producer.
Spooky is currently developing an adaptation of the Scott Snyder horror comic, Dungeon.
Lee and Schneider are also part of the producing team for The Long Walk, Lionsgate's adaptation of the Stephen King story that will hit theatres on September 12, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Randolph played Liz Strafford in 1923, alongside Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, and Brandon Sklenar, in one of Sheridan's Yellowstone TV series spin-offs. She later got a role on Landman, playing the daughter of Billy Bob Thornton's main character. In March, the Paramount+ show received a second season renewal.
The rising actress also has a role in Scream 7, which will be released in February 2026, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

JioStar has unveiled the second film from its action-packed campaign for Season 12 of the Pro Kabaddi League , titled ' Ghus Kar Maarenge. ' The film features actor Tiger Shroff in a charged cinematic spot that sets the tone for the new season. This marks the second installment in a series of campaign films that will roll out across regions in the lead-up to PKL Season 12 which begins on August 29, 2025, live and exclusive on JioHotstar and Star Sports Network . Conceptualised by creative agency ZeroFifty, the adrenaline-pumping film opens to a group of agitated thuggish neighbours baying for a confrontation with Shroff at the gates of his house. He steps out in his own inimitable style, completely unfazed, and slowly walks towards them, emulating the controlled aggression seen in Kabaddi players. As Shroff comes face to face with the neighbours, he defiantly challenges them saying, ' Ghus kar maarne ki baatein toh sab karte hain, par yahaan hum kar ke dikhate hain ' (everyone talks about going on the offensive and striking, but here we do it and show it). Thematically, Ghus Kar Maarenge underscores the aggression and high-impact action that the league promises this season, rallying fans to witness kabaddi at its fiercest. The film concludes with the thought that it's not just about talking tough—it's about backing it up, just like kabaddi heroes do. The film has been released in Hindi and Marathi. 'This is going to be the most exciting season of Pro Kabaddi League yet. With changes in the format and gameplay that promise even more edge-of-the-seat action, we wanted a campaign and a face that embodies this elevated intensity," said a JioStar Spokesperson. Hari Hara Veera Mallu OTT Release: When And Where To Watch Pawan Kalyan's big-budget period drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is now making its way to OTT just weeks after its theatrical run. Directed by Krish and Jyothi Krisna, the film also stars Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal. It hit theatres on July 24 with huge expectations but ended up receiving a mixed response from audiences and critics alike. As is common in Telugu cinema these days, films that don't have a long theatrical run quickly shift to digital platforms. The same has happened with Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is all set to stream online less than a month after its release. The makers officially announced on the film's X (formerly Twitter) handle that the historical epic will premiere on Prime Video from today, August 20. The movie dropped at midnight, and the announcement was made just hours before its OTT arrival.
