The Eagles believe in building through the trenches and hosted an All-American offensive tackle who could convert to offensive guard on Tuesday. According to Anthony DiBona, Wyatt Milum was at the NovaCare Complex for his top-30 visit just nine days before the draft kicks off.
Milum started 32-of-36 games at tackle for West Virginia, including 31 in a row in games that he played, but has been projected to kick inside to the offensive guard position.
A powerful run blocker, Milum was named second-team Associated Press All-American, Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year, and First-team All-Big 12.

Although he boasts the necessary credentials, with multiple All-Star selections, All-NBA Team selections, as well as an NBA title, the former NBA player wasn't in agreement with this. In response to this, O'Neal was asked to curate his own Hall of Fame based on the current batch of players, excluding LeBron James. To this, he responded, "I would have to Curry... However, when asked whether Chris Paul deserved a place in his list, O'Neal responded by saying, "I'm not a guard. I'm going to let you answer that." Meanwhile, Leonard has been one of the most lethal two-way players in recent history. His versatility on both ends of the floor, from scoring in clutch situations to defending out of position, makes him an incredibly rare breed of superstar. Although his injury-prone nature could see him snubbed to some extent, what he is capable of doing when he is on the floor is undeniable. And with two NBA titles, two Finals MVPs, and seven All-Defensive Team selections, he is a certified first-ballot Hall of Famer. Chris Paul is certainly a name that has to be considered. Paul has been one of the premier point guards in the NBA for a large part of his career. His sheer longevity, paired with his productivity and success as a floor general, guarantees him a spot among the greats. Other noteworthy players include the likes of Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis. Westbrook was a force of nature during his time with the Thunder. Having averaged a triple-double for three consecutive seasons, Westbrook etched his name in the history books as one of the best to ever do it. Although Davis has been on the receiving end of much criticism in recent years, it is hard to overlook how dominant he was during his title charge with the Lakers. Looking like one of the best big men in the league coming out of college, Davis has been a truly special player. Advertisement Jayson Tatum's accomplishments don't necessarily pale in comparison. But at only 27 years old, they set a solid foundation for making a case in the future. In the process of recovering from his ACL injury, Tatum will have a long road to recovery. Whether this will see the Celtics star return to All-Star form will be a point of concern. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and reigning Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts divided fans when he chose to skip the team's celebratory White House visit in April. Hurts was one of several Eagles players who chose not to go, alongside AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jalen Carter and Brandon Graham. But as the quarterback, Hurts' absence garnered particular scrutiny. Hurts told reporters on May 20 that he didn't go because he "wasn't available." Former Eagles star quarterback Donovan McNabb, who says he's mentored Hurts since coming to Philadelphia, gave his reaction to his protégé's absence in an interview with Fox News Digital. McNabb also suggested that Hurts' absence was based on a decision. "I don't have a problem with it at all. I agree, I totally agree with him and the decision that he made, it's a grown man decision, and he stuck with it," McNabb said. "And for him, his focus again is to get himself ready to possibly get back to another Super Bowl." McNabb added that he would have made the same decision as Hurts. Hurts also raised eyebrows again when he attended the Met Gala the following week after missing the White House. Still, the vast majority of the Eagles' roster and coaching staff did attend the White House and celebrated with Trump, as well as the president's daughter, Ivanka. Those players included star running back Saquon Barkley. "It's everybody's choice," McNabb said of the players who went. "You don't harp on anybody else's decision of what they made, it's a decision. It's a personal decision that he made, for both, for Jalen and for Saquon," McNabb said. "And again, after you do your visit or whatever it may be, you get right back to focusing on the task at hand and seeing if you can have that opportunity to be invited back to the White House." When the Eagles won the Super Bowl back in 2018, the team decided not to attend the White House. Trump rescinded the invitation to host the Eagles after several players said they would not participate in the visit because of his previous criticisms of national anthem protests. The Los Angeles Dodgers visited the White House several weeks before the Eagles did, to commemorate their World Series title. After a dazzling freshman campaign at Baylor, VJ Edgecombe is projected to be a top-five pick in the 2025 NBA draft on June 25-26 in Brooklyn, New York. Edgecombe was the Big 12 Freshman of the Year, averaging 15 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.1 steals on 34% shooting from 3-point range. He finished in double figures 27 times, including a season-high 30 points on Jan. 22 in a win over Kansas State. Advertisement The 6-foot-5 guard is most commonly projected to be drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers or Charlotte Hornets with the third and fourth picks, respectively. He is expected to be heavily considered by the Hornets if he is still on the board, according to Kevin O'Connor of Yahoo Sports. Edgecombe had an excellent interview with the Hornets, league sources said. And while there are no locks, plenty of executives believe he's the favorite if he makes it to the fourth pick. Edgecombe is viewed as one of the most athletic players in the draft this year and was an offensive force when getting downhill, thanks to his ability to create for himself and stretch the floor from beyond the arc. He also projects to be able to affect games at a high level on defense. The 19-year-old participated in the combine earlier this month, measuring in with a 6-foot, 7 1/2-inch wingspan. He also registered a 38 1/2-inch max vertical jump, tied for the ninth-highest mark among all participants this year in Chicago, Illinois. After missing out on the chance to have the top pick this year, the Hornets figure to land either Edgecombe or Ace Bailey in the draft. The two players both project to fit well with the roster and should help the team next year and beyond.
