'Get onboard or get rolled over' watch 2026 4-star WR announce his recruitment shutdown
On Saturday, Texas A&M made significant progress with two of the program's 12 commitments in the 2026 recruiting class, as four-star running back Jonathan Hatton and four-star wide receiver Aaron Gregory re-affirmed their commitments with the program, and officially shut down their recruiting, which is beyond big news for the future of the program.
Both players are considered elite in their respective positions. At the same time, Gregory's rise this offseason, evident in several camp appearances, resulted in the Texas Longhorns making a late push. Still, thanks to the work from Texas A&M assistant coaches, including running back coach Trooper Taylor and wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins, one of the top playmakers in the high school ranks has found his future home in College Station.
What has become a trend with almost every high-profile 2026 visitor this weekend, Gregory and Texas A&M's social media team put together one of the coolest videos detailing his official visit, revealing that he will not take any future visits outside of Texas A&M.
On the field, Gregory is one of the twitchier athletes who possesses the speed to burn corners in man coverage. At the same time, his elite athleticism and quick footwork make him a candidate for early playing time as soon as his 2026 freshman season.
Combined with Jonathan Hatton and four-star cornerback Victor Singelton, Gregory is the highest-rated prospect in Texas A&M's 2026 cycle. He will continue to rise heading into his final senior season in Georgia.
According to 247Sports Composite, Gregory is the 66th-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the 8th-ranked wide receiver, and the 7th-ranked prospect in Georgia.

Nebraska makes top five for elite class of 2026 offensive tackle Nebraska football made the top five for 2026 four-star offensive tackle Claude Mpouma on Friday. He made the announcement on social media. The Michigan Wolverines, Ohio State Buckeyes, Florida Gators, and Auburn Tigers are the other teams on his list. Mpouma is the 178th overall player in the 2026 class, the 14th overall offensive lineman in the class, and the eighth overall player in the class from the state of Illinois per the On3 Recruiting Rankings. Mpouma has made three visits to the Huskers in the past year. He took unofficial visits on November 2 and February 1. He will then take an official visit to Lincoln on June 20. Florida four-star 2026 center and state champ wrestler Ryan Miret visits Nebraska The Huskers welcomed various recruits to Lincoln this weekend, including a four-star center and state champ wrestler. Ryan Miret, a four-star center from Miami (Fla.) Southridge officially visited on Friday and is spending the weekend in Lincoln, visiting both the wrestling and football teams. Miret received an offer from Nebraska back in late January. His trip to Lincoln is the first of four in the month. He is also set to visit Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, and Miami. Miret is down to four teams for his commitment, which is currently set for June 25. He is deciding between Nebraska, Ole Miss, Miami, and Georgia Tech. The Miami, Florida, native transitioned from defensive line to center ahead of his junior year. He played defense for Southridge in his sophomore season, racking up 23 tackles. At center, Miret helped his team to a FHSAA 6A state semifinal finish in 2024. He stands at 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds. Miret also wrestles for Southridge, winning the FHSAA 3A state championship in the 285-pound weight class his junior year after placing 3rd his sophomore season.
