But I can reveal a large part of it will also feature Rebekah as well as their luxurious homelife.
And if it sparks an interest among viewers it may lead to a spin-off At Home With...series.
The move comes after it emerged that her arch rival, Coleen Rooney was set to sign a similar deal for her show with Disney+.
It has been known for months that Netflix had a new documentary about Jamie's incredible journey from non-league footballer to Premier League champion in the works.
But it was thought to be almost entirely football-focused, and barely feature Rebekah or any kind of domestic insights.
A TV insider said: " Netflix have taken such an interest in the Vardys because of their natural love of all things controversial.
"Plus, they saw how the David Beckham documentary was such a hit, not just because it touched on football but because of the scenes of domestic life that came with it.
"Though this will be on a different level to the Beckham documentary, they want to tap into some of that with the Vardy show, and it's undoubtedly a real coup for her.
"Getting so much 'airtime' on Netflix gives her a real platform - and scope to branch out."
Coleen Rooney lined up to sign £1million ITV deal after I'm A Celebrity
The documentary, set to air later this year, would go some way to helping Rebekah with her legal costs following the high-profile Wagatha Christie libel trial against Coleen in 2022.
But it's unlikely to diminish the rivalry between them...
Netflix were approached but said: "No comment."
COLEEN Rooney has revealed the embarrassing habit hubby Wayne reckons will annoy her I'm A celebrity campmates.
She's usually preened and perfect - but the WAG has confessed she snores.
Coleen said: 'I didn't think I snored, but Wayne says I snore.
'Not continuously though – just every now and again.
'I have been in the public eye for over 20 years now and people take what they want from it.
'I do think people will get a better idea of what kind of person I am.'

Peter Andre's wife Emily 'hurt by Katie Price's disgusting swipe at her children
Peter Andre's wife Emily has been left 'hurt' after her husband's ex Katie Price brutally labelled her children 'irrelevant'. After meeting on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2004, Peter and Katie got together and went on to welcome son Junior, 20, and daughter Princess, 18. They later divorced in 2009, with Peter then beginning a relationship with Doctor Emily MacDonagh, who is 16 years his junior. In the years since they've had three children together – Amelia, 11, Theo, 8, and Arabella, 1. The couple have chosen to keep their children out of the spotlight, keeping their faces obscured or completely covered in photographs shared online. However, this week a video released by another of Katie's ex's – Alex Reid- showed the former glamour model making a dig at Peter and Emily's children. In the video, Katie, 47, referenced Peter's, 52, youngest children, labelling them 'irrelevant' in front of her then then 13-year-old daughter Princess. The video, believed to have been filmed in 2020, sees Katie telling her daughter: 'Your dad is going to have to pay the school fees because of my bankruptcy. Does he moan about it? What does Emily say? 'It's money that could be spent on her and her kids. 'They're not going private, are they, they're irrelevant. No one even knows who they are.' After hearing about the dig made about her children, Dr Emily, 36, was reportedly left taken aback by the remark. 'Of course, the focus has been on the fact Katie is counting cash while claiming to be bankrupt, but Pete has been left horrified by what she said about his family in front of Princess,' a source told The Sun. 'She would only have been about 13 then – and her mum was talking like that about her own brother and sisters. It's disgusting. 'Emily is stunned that anyone could speak about children like that. It's a new low. The family don't want Princess pulled into anymore of her mum's drama.' They added: 'For someone who claims to want a peaceful life without any feuds, Katie isn't leading by example.' The source also claimed that Dr Emily had been left 'really hurt'. 'She's always been classy and taken the high road, but her protective, motherly instincts have taken over and she's adamant she won't let her kids be dragged down by Pete's ex.' In 2023 Peter revealed it was his wife's decision to keep their children out of the limelight. 'I've got to be honest, this was an Emily decision, and I respect that,' he said on the Netmums podcast. 'Obviously the other two, from very young they were… we did what a lot of parent love to do. You get excited and you want to show your kid riding his bike or you want to show this awesome photo of your kids because, for me, you're sharing something joyous.' 'But when we had Millie and Theo, [Emily] said 'I don't want that', I had to respect that, and I understood her reasonings for it. She's right, she doesn't want them at school to be recognised. She just wants them to be what she says is normal and I respect that.' Earlier this week Peter took aim at his ex – posting a lengthy statement on social media following comments about his and Katie's children's welfare. 'For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.' He then went on to write that he wanted to 'set the record straight' and revealed that Junior and Princess came into his care in 2018 and remained with him until they reached adulthood. 'In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. More Trending 'In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. 'Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.' Katie later shared a statement of her own, sharing that she had 'allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol' and was 'at times, not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness'. Meghan Markle's brutal silence questioned as Harry leaves secret letter at royal event
Royal onlookers have noted Meghan Markle's ongoing silence amid her husband Prince Harry's recent troubles - despite continuing to promote her latest Netflix series Prince Harry is desperately trying to heal wounds with the royal family, but Meghan has stayed notably silent after his most recent olive branch. It has emerged that just days ago, the Duke left a secret letter at a royal event attended by King Charles and Queen Camilla. It is said that he asked a friend to discreetly leave a note and a wreath of red poppies at the Burma Star Memorial, to mark the national VJ Day commemorations. Notably, the letter was placed after Charles and Camilla left to avoid distracting from the service, which honoured the sacrifice of Second World War heroes who fought and died in the Pacific and Far East. Meanwhile, Meghan did not sign the letter. It's not the first time she's stayed quiet in recent weeks, as experts have questioned why she hasn't spoken out in support of her husband amid a 'devastating' boardroom battle. The Duke stepped down from Sentebale, the charity he founded to help children orphaned by Aids in Lesotho, earlier this year following a tense showdown with the chairwoman, Dr Sophie Chandauka. Harry was said to be devastated by the row, which saw all sides rebuked by the Charity Commission for allowing the war of words to play out so publicly. And many expected Meghan to publicly back Harry. But she has continued to hold her silence - and it's raised eyebrows amongst royal watchers. In her most recent Instagram post, Meghan pointedly continued to ignore the furore. The 44-year-old shared a video on Tuesday showing her preparing and plating up a lemon pasta spaghetti dish; prior to that, she shared a post promoting the upcoming second series of With Love Meghan. Expert Dr Tessa Dunlop told the Mirror: "Now that Meghan and Harry have signed a new Netflix deal ('looser' and apparently less lucrative than the previous $78m one but a deal nonetheless), might the Duchess find her voice? "Not the one she volubly uses to hawk As Ever wares (in conjunction with Netflix) but rather the voice Meghan famously re-found after leaving the Royal Family, the one that talked her truth to royal power and surely could talk her truth to the Sentebale fiasco? "No, really, why hasn't Meghan come out batting for Prince Harry in his latest round of verbal fisty-cuffs concerning his former African charity? After all, the Duke has consistently spoken out in support of his wife, establishing the precedent early on and against the wishes of his family when he condemned Britain's media coverage and insisted he had never before witnessed such a 'degree of pressure, scrutiny and harassment' from the press. "As it currently stands, Harry cuts a lonely figure. The Charity Commission 'identified a 'strong perception of ill treatment' swirling in the unhappy waters of his former charity, Sentebale. It was a terse ruling that exonerated no one; all parties remain incandescent, particularly the aggrieved prince, who insists the report has fallen 'troublingly short'. "In other words, the Duke of Sussex's nemesis, Dr Sophie Chanduka, is still at large, running Harry's former beloved Sentebale. The Duke could really do with some public TLC, especially from his wife, whose own issues with said Dr Chanduka were allegedly caught on camera at a polo match Sentebale fundraiser." It comes after Harry and Meghan confirmed they had extended their deal with Netflix, having signed a new "multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects". While the Duchess was quick to celebrate the signing, experts claimed that the deal is a downgrade for the couple.
