Prince William reveals Prince Louis, seven, had hilarious reaction to classic dilemma
Prince Louis supports about 'five different football teams', Prince William claimed today.
The Prince of Wales, 42, was visiting the Leith Community Centre, Edinburgh, this afternoon to shine a light on the power of community-led social impact.
There, William viewed a martial arts class and spoke with young guests Erin, nine, and Shaniah, 10, at the Edinburgh YMCA Youth Forum.
During their conversation, Erin gifted him a poster of his beloved football team Aston Villa, with which William was delighted.
But despite William's known fierce passion for Aston Villa, it appears his youngest son has more complicated thoughts on the matter.
When Erin explained that she supports two teams, William joked that his son Prince Louis, seven, is torn between 'about five different football teams'.
This is despite his older brother Prince George clearly following in his father's footsteps, after they watched Aston Villa play in the Champion's League last month.
Louis, however, is clearly wary of placing all his eggs in one basket.
William and Kate's youngest son has become known for his cheeky antics, most recently putting on an entertaining display during VE Day celebrations earlier this month.
As he sat down next to his father, who donned his military uniform, cheeky Louis turned to William and began to brush down the shoulder of his military jacket.
The young royal, sat alongside his parents and his older siblings Charlotte and George ahead of the parade held on Bank Holiday Monday.
And in typical Louis fashion, he also playfully stuck out his tongue while waiting for the action to begin.
At one point, he even appeared to roll his eyes at his older brother George.
Elsewhere during his visit today, William couldn't resist having a kickabout with a football.
Looking dapper in a navy suit teamed with a brighter shirt underneath, William opted for simple black trainers as he showed off his sporting skills.

Ahead of the visit, William and Kate's Royal Foundation has announced a new community impact partnership with Street Soccer Scotland, based at the youth centre.
The collaboration aims to foster health and wellbeing, reduce isolation, and strengthen social connections for thousands of local people of all ages through the power of football.
William, known as the Duke of Rothesay when visiting Scotland, had landed at Edinburgh Airport this afternoon.
He smiled and waved to well-wishers as he arrived for the visit, appearing in great spirits just a day after attending a garden party at Buckingham Palace with his wife the Princess of Wales - her first appearance at the event in two years.
After being welcomed in, William spoke with Street Soccer Scotland founder and CEO, David Duke.
He then showed off his football skills in a kickabout, neatly aiming it into the goal - although it did take him a second attempt.

Kate, 43, re-wore her lemon yellow dress by Emilia Wickstead and a hat by Phillip Treacy as she stood on the terrace for the National Anthem in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, while the Prince of Wales wore a morning suit.

It marked her first appearance at a garden party since 2023 - having skipped last year while she was having cancer treatment.
Liz's parents Vicky and Aaron, along with her brother Mateo, nine, had an emotional chat with the royals at the garden party to honour the memory of their daughter.
When Kate spotted Liz's mother they embraced with a warm hug. Her parents said meeting Prince and Princess changed her and their family's life positively forever.
The Prince and Princess, who were joined by Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie, and Sophie and Edward, Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, had met Liz just months before her passing, when they were introduced at Windsor Castle during an emotional moment that left a lasting impact on the royal couple.
Also at today's garden party was Tony Hudgell, the double amputee from Kent who missed the King's garden party last year due to a traffic jam. This time, Tony made it in plenty of time and was warmly welcomed by Queen Camilla at a private gathering.
Liz, 17, from Harrogate, won the admiration of the public with her determination to live life to the fullest despite being diagnosed with her incurable illness.
Kate and William were handed Jelly Cat plush toys - a lemon pie and pickled onion - by Liz's family during their meeting. Liz used to give the toys to people that made her happy.
'They match my dress,' Kate said. She told Mateo, 'If you need any help fundraising maybe I can help up.'
'Please stay in touch, really.'
Liz's mother said: 'You changed her life for the better, you changed ours too because our memories are all positive.'
William said of the toys: 'My children will love these. They are children's currency.'
Kate said: 'It matches my dress, how did you know? We talked about it. When I see the fish and chips Jellycat, I think of her.
William also chatted to a delighted Tony Hudgell, 10, who had been forced to miss last year's garden party after getting stuck in traffic.
The double amputee from Kent looked delighted as he shook hands with Prince William, after being warmly welcomed by Queen Camilla at a private gathering.
William even joked that he had chosen a better year because it was raining when he was due to attend previously.
Tony, who was attending with his proud mother Paula, appeared deep in conversation with the Prince of Wales, with whom he has developed a close friendship.
He is also known to be close with the Princess of Wales, and has even called her his 'best friend' in the past.
Brave Tony, who co-founded the Tony Hudgell Foundation, was the youngest-ever recipient of a New Year Honour in December when he was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to the prevention of child abuse.

A tearful father told an inquest how his 15-year-old 'beautiful son' suddenly collapsed after an unsanctioned kickboxing match. Stephen Eastwood, 40, from Liverpool, said he stayed with his son Alex Eastwood at his hospital bedside until he passed away three days after the fatal bout. He told Bolton Coroner's Court: 'I would just like people to remember him as a wonderful, beautiful son. He was just a lovely, lovely boy. He was a beautiful soul.' Alex collapsed after the third and final round of a 'light contact' kickboxing bout in a ring at a gym in Platt Bridge, Wigan on June 29, 2024. He was rushed to hospital but had suffered a serious head injury. Unusually, Michael Pemberton, assistant coroner for Manchester (West), ahead of Alex's inquest, which started on Monday, has already raised concerns with the government in March this year about the safety of children in combat sports. Alex took up kickboxing aged nine, trained five times a week at Hurricane Combat and Fitness club in Fazakerley, Liverpool and had a 'meteoric' rise in the sport, having competed at high levels. He had grown to 6ft 7ins, weighed 80kg and had just finished his GCSEs the week before the fight was arranged with another opponent at the gym in Wigan. Alex, who was wearing a headguard, suddenly became unwell after the end of the third and final, two-minute round. Father-of-three Mr Eastwood said he noticed his son, 'not looking right' as he held on to the ropes to make his way back to his corner. He added: 'I have run, dived into the ring under the ropes landed on my back. I have grabbed hold of my son, holding on to him, laid him on the ring. 'At that point, it just turned into a chaotic scene. You had two first aiders in the ring, I was pacing around using profanities and swearing. 'My son's breathing was like a big bulldog on a sunny day, struggling. He did have what seemed like a seizure. It felt like a lifetime, sir.' Paramedics arrived and took the teenager first to hospital in Wigan and then on to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, where surgeons were waiting to operate. But it was discovered he had suffered catastrophic brain damage and bleeding. Mr Eastwood said he, Alex's step-mother Nikita, his two siblings and other family spent time with him at the hospital. His father stayed with him at his bedside until he died on July 2, last year. His organs were donated. Daniel Wigelsworth, one of Alex's coaches at Hurricane Combat and Fitness in Liverpool, said he was party to arrangements for the bout Alex took part in, along with Dale Bannister, owner of the TKMA gym in Wigan, which was setting up a charity event. They arranged the fight with Alex's opponent, who has not been named, as a 'good match up' in terms of weight, age and skill. The inquest also heard there did not appear to be any definitive rules on the length of rounds and Mr Wigelsworth said the rules are 'unclear' with different interpretations of 'light contact' rules during bouts, it being left to coaches and referees. Mr Wigelsworth said he believed Alex's opponent was a year older than him, but in fact was two years his senior. The inquest heard competitions, exhibition events and 'fight nights' can be put on by individual clubs and independent promoters, and the governing body does not sanction fundraising events. Gordon Mitchell, director at Kickboxing GB, said the sport has a number of governing bodies that sanction fights but Kickboxing GB is the only one in the UK recognised by Sport England, the body supporting grassroots sport, and the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations (WAKO) which is itself recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Mr Mitchell said Kickboxing GB would never sanction 'light contact' bouts in a boxing ring due to safety reasons and these only take place outside a ring on mats. He said this is because it is easier to stop a fight on mats, by stepping off the mat, for example, if there is a mismatch. But he said in a bout in a ring, 'you are stuck between the ropes' and reliant on the referee to step in to stop a fight. 'There's more rules about stopping the fight early, on mats,' Mr Mitchell said. Adam Korn, a solicitor representing the Eastwood family, said despite these rules, unsanctioned, exhibition or 'fight night' bouts are frequently held up and down the country. Mr Korn said: 'Is that a concern to you?' 'Yes,' Mr Mitchell said. Mr Mitchell said he was aware of one other combat-related child death in the UK. Earlier this year the coroner wrote a Prevention of Future Deaths report to the government about the lack of regulation of contact sports for children, with no minimum standards or risk management. The inquest continues on Tuesday morning.
