'Hi, this is Chris from Coldplay. We're in Hong Kong... I've noticed that some people lately, including myself, are struggling a little bit with depression,' Martin began. 'So I wanted to talk to you about some things that are helping me on tour and in life in general, in the hope that they can help you as well.'

Among his go-to wellness tools are freeform writing, where he writes his thoughts for 12 minutes and discards the paper, and transcendental meditation, which he describes as 'wonderful.' Martin also credited The Oxygen Advantage, a book on breathing techniques, and music by Jon Hopkins for their calming effects. He named the film Sing Sing as something that brings him joy during difficult times.
