A WOMAN who ditched the UK for Dubai has returned home, after life in the city pushed her to breaking point.
Natalie Goodall, now 32, made the decision to relocate to the UAE after she was offered a golf coaching job aged just 18.

She jumped at the chance - living with a friend then various family members before renting her own apartment in Damac Hills.
Natalie lived in the seemingly idyllic and luxurious city for years until the Dubai lifestyle became too much - because the city's "business model" didn't allow for "work-life balance".
After years of working 80 hour, six-day weeks, Natalie moved back to the UK in 2019 and has settled down in West Parley, Dorset.
And, while she loved Dubai and says she'll go back for holidays, she said she's unlikely to relocate back there.
As swathes of Brits opt to move out there with high expectations of luxurious living and endless fun, Natalie feels that Brits going with high expectations "may be disappointed."
Natalie, now a self-employed PGA professional, said: "I never saw myself leaving Dubai - I was working at one of the best golf schools in the world.
"And the city was absolutely stunning, on my day off I went down to the beach and when you let your hair down you could have a bloody good time.
"But afterwards you'd look at your bank balance and think 'oh crap'.
"But the business model out there - there is no work life balance.
"I was coming home to my partner after 12 hour days, at 9pm, and I could barely hold a conversation because I'd be so tired.

"In my last year I told him 'I can't do this' - you know when your time is up.
"It's a very glamorous place and I can see moving there is a trend - but everywhere has their downfalls."
At the time, she was making the equivalent of around £25-£30k a year - but the high costs in Dubai meant she couldn't enjoy the full extent of the luxurious lifestyle compared to what people assume.
She said: "I was just making money to survive - in the service industry you were worked very hard.

"I was working six days a week and I couldn't afford to reduce my hours."
After meeting her fellow expat partner Will Coan, 34, in 2017, while out there, the pair lived together but Natalie began to "spiral".
She said: "You can feel yourself, your work and time management aren't as good, your diet goes out the window.
"
I never saw myself leaving Dubai but it's not sustainable - as I got older, I started to think, how the bloody hell will I have a life here?
"It's not on an individual person - it's just the business model out there."
In September 2019, she moved from Dubai back to the UK and got a job in Guernsey, once she had secured the necessary golf qualifications to be a coach.
Nine months later, Will, who worked in a role in food manufacturing, finished his contract and moved back to the UK as well.
They now own a home together in West Parley and are happier than ever.

Charity rowers MP mistook for migrants complete first leg of journey
Since departing from Land's End in Cornwall on July 25, the Row4MND crew have covered approximately 900 miles and burned some 450,000 calories, while battling sleep deprivation and physical exhaustion. The have also faced a number of unexpected obstacles, including Storm Floris and being mistaken for a 'migrant dinghy' by Norfolk MP Rupert Lowe while rowing up the east coast of England. The incident brought the row to the world's attention and boosted donations by upwards of £30,000 – including £1,000 from Mr Lowe himself. The original route also took the crew north into the Irish Sea, but after rowing 100 miles strong headwinds forced them to return to Land's End to start the row again, this time heading east along the English Channel. The Row4MND team, consisting of Aaron Kneebone, Liz Wardley, Mike Bates and Matt Parker, is aiming to raise money for research into motor neurone disease (MND), with the first leg of their circumnavigation being the first of four epic rows over four years. As they passed underneath the famous bridge, the crew was treated to a hero's welcome by supporters, well-wishers and members of the MND community. 'We couldn't have wished for a better outcome.' Mr Bates, a former Royal Marine and British record holder for rowing solo across the Atlantic, said the row had 'exceeded our wildest dreams' and he also thanked Mr Lowe for bringing it to the world's attention. 'A huge amount of effort and detail goes into planning a challenge like this,' he said. 'Coastal rowing is very different to ocean rowing and we've encountered some of the most challenging conditions that any of us have faced – including in the Atlantic and Pacific. 'We'd like to thank Rupert Lowe MP for inadvertently bringing the eyes of the world onto our crew, which has opened the floodgates in terms of donations. 'Maybe he can lend a few further words of encouragement for the second leg next year.' The rowers are raising money for research into motor neurone disease (Jane Barlow/PA) Representatives of the three charities involved in the project – the Motor Neurone Disease Association; the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation; and the Leeds Hospitals Charity – were among those welcoming the rowers to shore. 'They've battled storms, exhaustion and the unpredictable British coastline – all to help fund the research that will one day make MND treatable,' he said. 'Seeing them pass under the Forth Bridge today to such a warm welcome was a special moment for everyone involved. 'Every mile they've rowed and every pound they've raised takes us closer to delivering on Doddie's vision – a world free of MND – and we're hugely grateful for their determination and commitment to our cause.' Mr Parker said: 'At the outset, we wanted to deliver two objectives: raising £57 million to have a material impact on the search for a cure to MND; and building awareness about this cruel illness, which will affect one in 300 people over a lifetime.' Hugh Marsh from Perth, Australia, was in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, for his cousin's wedding when he found the stowaway in his shoes. With his hand reddened and itchy, Mr Marsh quickly washed it - but it was too late, and the next day it was blown up like a "blimp". "I discovered it in my left shoe just before a wedding," the 30-year-old said. "I looked in thinking there was a wedge of tissue in the toe, and pulled it out, like you would, with my fingers. Hugh said he "immediately" knew something was wrong. He added: "I washed my hands thoroughly, but the damage was done. "And I had a wedding to go to, so hoped it was just a small effect. "I didn't expect the blimp of a hand the next day." Giant huntsman spider lurking in his bunch of Aldi bananas He added: "My whole hand was swollen like a balloon." Images captured by Mr Marsh show his hand puffed up in reaction to the spider's hairs. "It was as if I'd stuck my hand into a pile of cactuses," he said. "Extremely fine short hairs covered my middle and index finger, from the tips to the middle knuckle." The Aussie event photographer reckons he hadn't worn the shoes for two or three years before the big day, and that they'd been in his closet the whole time. And though he didn't photograph the spider and is unsure of the species, he thinks it could have been a 'Badumna insignis' after looking at pictures. An Australian native species, it's better known as the black house spider, and is more dangerous than its name suggests, packing an excruciatingly painful bite. Some victims have reported nausea, vomiting, sweating, dizziness, and even skin necrosis from their venom. Hugh is just relieved the spider was already dead. He said: "It was a black spider with thin legs and large mandibles, about the size of an Australian 50 cent coin. "It had been deceased for a while by the looks of it. "It was like it had gone into the shoe, wrapped itself in a cocoon of webbing and died." He continued: "I think it's pretty funny overall. "Thankfully it was just the spider hairs that stuck into my fingers and not an actual bite - I'd be a little worried how that could've gone." Hugh was able to enjoy the wedding with paracetamol before seeking medical attention. He was advised to use a strong antihistamine, but said it took a week for the swelling to go down. The news comes just days after it was revealed that a giant wasp spider has been discovered in the UK.
