Hailey Bieber Pokes Fun At Cruel Online Rumors
The most prominent one is that she meticulously plotted to marry her now-husband Justin Bieber as a teenager, which largely stems from the fact that she was a huge fan of his before they started dating, and even used to 'ship' him and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
For reference, Justin and Selena first started dating in 2011, and their on-again, off-again relationship went on for over seven years. A couple of months after the two went public with their romance, a then-15-year-old Hailey tweeted: "I don't care what anyone says but Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez together is the definition of a teenage dream!'The following year, Hailey said that Selena was 'beyond flawless' and Jelena were the 'perfect relationship' as she joked that she would be 'forever alone.' Also in 2012, the teen shared her disappointment that Justin and Selena did not attend the Vanity Fair Oscars party because she had been looking forward to seeing their 'color coordination.' It's worth noting that Hailey's X account has since been deleted, and neither she, Selena, nor Justin have ever acknowledged the historical tweets.
Over the years, Hailey has also been spotted in the background of paparazzi videos of Justin, but the two actually became friends in 2014. However, it was following Justin and Selena's final break-up in March 2018 that things really became interesting, with Justin and Hailey striking up a relationship three months later.
One month after that, they were engaged, and the two got legally married in a private courthouse ceremony in September 2018 — just six months after Justin and Selena's most recent split, and after nearly eight years of their rocky relationship.Ever since, Selena and Hailey have been pitted against one another, and their so-called feud has publicly exploded a couple of times over the years, including in early 2023 when both women were accused of being shady to the other on social media. Amid these feuds, Hailey has found herself at the center of baseless speculation that she has fake social media accounts to keep tabs on Selena and her fandom, as well as to post either nasty comments about Selena or positive comments about herself on fan accounts.
And Hailey expertly poked fun at all of this in a recent interview with Vogue, which involved her going through her handbag and sharing the context behind each item that she carries with her.
After showing off an Eau d'Nepo perfume in reference to her nepo baby status, Hailey pulled out her cellphone, and said to the camera: 'This is my phone, very straightforward, obviously.' She then pulled out several more cellphones and said: 'These are a couple more that I keep on me, and I really just use them for a lot of the simple stuff, like surfing anonymously, commenting, stalking, viewing girls' pages, making multiple accounts… You know, that kind of thing.'
And at the end of the video, Hailey pulled out a small glass bottle, and explained in a similarly deadpan way: 'OK, so last but not least, this is a little tincture potion that I got, I would probably say when I was around 12. My dad flew me to go meet with this witch who lived in the mountains, and she made it specifically for me.'
'She told me it would make a young Canadian popstar fall in love with me,' she went on. 'So, yeah, I've been taking this one for years. Absolutely love it, thanks Dad!'
Needless to say, people were impressed by the way that Hailey was able to poke fun at herself, and heaped praise on the star. Commenting on Vogue's TikTok videos of the interview, one person wrote: 'She ate the haters up on VOGUEEE what an icon.''Mother has a sense of humor and the facecard 😭,' another popular comment reads. Somebody else admitted: 'she's too funny and iconic for me to judge her at all.'One more commented: 'She's making fun of them and I'm so here for it 💀''LMAOO the deadpan look she gives at the end 😭 why do i need her on SNL,' another added, while somebody else confessed: 'not a fan of her but she ate this up ngl 😭.'One more concluded: 'Hailey mocking her haters instead of crying or playing the victim is everything 💜'

Jacob Elordi Is Completely Unrecognizable in Frankenstein
Originally appeared on E! Online is bringing one of pop culture's most famous monsters to life—literally. In the first look at Guillermo del Toro's upcoming Frankenstein movie, the Euphoria star transformed into the titular scientist's reanimated creation. With his disfigured face wrapped up in tatter rags, Elordi was barely recognizable as a creature fused together by Dr. Viktor Frankenstein (played by Oscar Isaac). And according del Toro , the 28-year-old was the "perfect actor" to take up the role after dropped out of the project due to scheduling conflicts. "We have a supernaturally good connection," the filmmaker told Vanity Fair in an interview published July 28. "It's like, very few words. Very few things I have to say, and he does it." Likewise, makeup artist Mike Hill couldn't be more thrilled with Elordi taking up the mantle. 'What attracted me to him was his gangliness and his wrists. It was this looseness,' Hill told the magazine. "I was like, 'I don't know who else you could get with a physicality like this.'" He continued of Elordi, "His demeanor is innocent, but it's encompassed in a six-foot-five frame. He could really do a lot of damage if this man really wanted to be a bad guy." But Elordi understands that he's proverbially standing on the shoulders of giants in this role. After all, past actors who've portrayed Frankenstein's monster includes Boris Karloff, Christopher Lee, Robert De Niro and Benedict Cumberbatch. "At first I thought, 'I'll stay away from this. I want to do my own thing,'" he said of visiting past portrayals of the monster. "And then I asked Guillermo, 'Should I watch the other Frankensteins?' And he goes, 'What the f--k do you mean?'" Reasoning that he didn't want to be "influenced" by other actors, Elordi recalled how de Toro assured him that his performance would not be affect. "He says, 'My friend, it's a movie, it can't f--king hurt you,'" Elordi added. "I went home, and I just binged them." Also starring Mia Goth, Charles Dance and Christoph Waltz, Frankenstein hits Netflix in November. For now, keep reading for more dramatic onscreen transformations... More from E! Selena Gomez wanted fragrance bottle to be inclusive
Selena Gomez's fragrance bottle was designed with the help of a rehab facility and hand therapists. The Only Murders in the Building actress' Rare Beauty brand will launch Rare Eau de Parfum next week and because of the dexterity issues she suffers with as a result of auto-immune condition Lupus, Selena wanted to make sure the packaging was inclusive so brought in experts, including the Casa Colina clinic, engineers and certified hand therapists, to offer input on the design. She told WWD: 'I have dexterity problems from my lupus, so sometimes it's hard for me to open a bottle of water or do anything. 'Sometimes I've had to use a spray and, like, put both my fingers on it. It's not as sad as it sounds. I'm alive, and that's all that matters.' The 33-year-old star quietly tested the fragrance personally and used everyday moments to obtain reactions to the scent. She explained: 'It was really funny, because sometimes I would accidentally — I would accidentally or purposefully, I should say — get close to people and see if they could smell anything. 'I would just flat out ask everyone I was around. I would tell them what it is, and say, 'What do you think?'' Selena - who is engaged to Benny Blanco - wanted to reflect her contentment in both her personal and professional lives with the fragrance. She said: 'Some of my best memories were when I was creating this, in our little test tube, when I got engaged, when I got to celebrate my birthday, 32nd birthday. 'It was just something that made me feel like a piece of me. And I wanted everyone to enjoy it. I was hoping that it would embody the place of life that I'm in.' Although Rare Beauty hasn't released a fragrance before, Selena released two scents through a partnership with Adrenalina Inc. when she was just 19 years old but she doesn't "even remember" what they were like. She reflected: 'I was so young. "The sweetest thing — a few months ago, [I saw] someone had saved the box that my [first] fragrance was in. It's so long ago, I couldn't help but laugh, because it had just been a trying time in my life where I really was trying hard to be cool. "I don't even remember what it smells like. I don't think it would be anything I'd wear now. This is definitely more me.'

Guillermo del Toro's ‘Frankenstein' Looks Absolutely Stunning
When Guillermo del Toro finally got the chance to make his dream project, an adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, you just knew it was going to be beautiful. Del Toro's films are known for a lot of things, and sumptuous production design and costumes are right near the top of the list. So, it almost goes without saying that a group of new images from the film are stunning, but these almost go beyond that. First revealed in an article by Vanity Fair and then released by Netflix, 10 new images from Frankenstein show characters, scenes, and interpretations that were previously kept secret. Here they are, all at once, and we can discuss a few of them in more detail below. Clearly, we could write tomes on the beauty of each of these images. The costumes, the sets, the locations. Each one is also framed in an interesting way that helps tell a story. But, we won't do that. What we will do, though, is fill in a few questions about who's who in these photos. Del Toro himself is just in that first image, along with Oscar Isaac as Dr. Victor Frankenstein. We see Victor in his lab in a later photo, too. The photo on the steps is of Victor as a child with his mother, and a little later, you see Victor again (played at a younger age by Christian Convery) with his father, played by Charles Dance. The photo of someone holding a photo is, indeed, Elordi's monster, who we see covered in a cloak further down. Mia Goth plays Elizabeth, Victor's soon-to-be sister-in-law, who both he and the monster become infatuated with. The second photo of Goth is with her fiancé, Victor's brother William Frankenstein, played by Felix Kammerer. That leaves the man in the top hat, an arms dealer played by Christoph Waltz, and that mysterious photo among the flowers. That's Sofia Galasso and David Bradley as a little girl and a blind man who are in the original book. What does it all mean? We'll find out in November when Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein comes to Netflix. Want more io9 news?
