'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse' has been one of the most anticipated threequels, and now, the fans will have to wait a couple more weeks to gear up and watch the film. The release date has been postponed to July 25, 2027, from the previous calendar mark, July 4, 2027.
Why did 'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse' get postponed?
According to Variety, 'Beyond the Spider-Verse' has been pushed by the creator to gain a better result in the domestic as well as international markets. The studio insiders revealed that a significant move was made to profit of the school-going fans, as only 65% of the students would have their summer vacations during the previous date, while all the schools are guaranteed to have a break on July 25. Additionally, the new date will have a better target audience internationally as well.
The records from the previous two instalments suggest that the studios have worked their fingers to the bone in making as well as the success. The debut animated film 'Into the Spider-Verse' won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature, and the sequel 'Across the Spider-Verse' received a nomination in the category and managed to mint multiple dollars after its release. Together, the films have managed to make USD 1.08 billion through the graphical webs and compelling storyline, according to Deadline.

He said that in the upcoming film, Miles Morales would be an on-the-run fugitive from every other Spider-Man from the different universes. Indian-origin filmmaker Gurinder Chadha has confirmed the sequel to her acclaimed 2002 film Bend It Like Beckham. According to the entertainment news outlet Deadline, the film is currently in development.
