Emma Raducanu's match against Aryna Sabalenka at the Cincinnati Open was interrupted by a crying child.
Star British tennis player Emma Raducanu was on Monday seen complaining about a crying child in the audience during her Cincinnati Open match against Aryna Sabalenka, as the umpire too lost her cool and asked if she wanted to remove the child from the stadium.
For Raducanu and Sabalenka, this clash marked a re-match of their encounter at Wimbledon.
Raducanu and Sabalenka's match in Cincinnati was a closely fought battle as well. A crying child in the audience disrupted the encounter and when the former turned to the umpire, she said, 'It's a child, do you want me to send the child out of the stadium?"
In response, several members of the audience spoke out in Raducanu's support. Watch the video here:

In the WTA event, Sabalenka fought through a three-hour battle to hold off Raducanu 7-6 (7/3), 4-6, 7-6 (7/5) for a fourth-round spot in a repeat of a win from the Wimbledon third round last month.
Defending champion Sabalenka endured a struggle but finished with two aces in the closing stages.
'I'm happy to get through this difficult match. I just hope tomorrow is a day off. I need time to recover from such a great battle," Sabalenka said.
British number one Raducanu survived a 25-minute eighth game of the final set, which went to 13 deuces, with her saving four break points before holding for 4-all and into a tiebreaker.
Sabalenka squeezed out the win with a sixth ace for 5-4 in the breaker and delivered her seventh on her second match point to win in three hours and nine minutes.
'It was all about momentum. I took some risks at the end, went for crazy shots, went to the net," Sabalenka said.
The Belarusian star is bidding for her 10th trophy at the 1000 level and second this season after winning at Madrid.

Karthikeyan upsets Vidit Gujrathi, Vincent Keymer edges closer to maiden title

Agency: Chennai, Aug 13 (PTI) Grandmaster M Karthikeyan eked out a gritty win over compatriot Vidit Gujrathi in round seven of the Chennai Grand Masters as German GM Vincent Keymer strengthened his grip on the title race here on Wednesday. Karthikeyan prevailed with the black pieces over Gujrathi while Keymer registered a clinical win over American GM Awonder Liang, to take a -1.5-point lead. Keymer's nearest challenger, Arjun Erigaisi, was held to a draw by Dutch star Anish Giri, a setback for the Indian's title hopes with only two rounds to play. Elsewhere in the Masters, GM Nihal Sarin defeated GM Ray Robson, while GM Jorden van Foreest and GM V Pranav shared the spoils in a balanced contest. With two rounds remaining, Erigaisi will take on Gujrathi in his must-win penultimate match-up. Erigaisi also needs favourable results elsewhere to keep his title challenge alive. Liang, finding himself in a similar situation to Erigaisi, will tackle Giri. Meanwhile, Keymer can seal his first Chennai Grand Masters title, should he succeed in beating Van Foreest with whites on Day 8. In the Challengers, GM Leon Luke Mendonca stayed in the joint lead after overcoming GM Diptayan Ghosh, while M Pranesh also kept pace at the top with a win over GM R Vaishali. GM Abhimanyu Puranik was held to a draw by GM Aryan Chopra, leaving the former 0.5 behind the joint leaders in the title race. In other results, IM Harshavardhan GB defeated GM Harika Dronavalli, and GM Pa Iniyan split the point with GM Adhiban Baskaran.
