Primark drops Milk Makeup ‘jelly tint' dupe that works on lips and faces… and it's £19 cheaper than the real deal
Being able to nab copy cats of cult-loved products without breaking the bank is the stuff of dreams amid the cost of living crisis.
And the latest dupe added to the fast fashion giant's beauty arsenal is the PS... Lip And Cheek Jelly Tint.
The inspiration for the new launch is Milk Makeup's £22 Cooling Water Jelly Tint.
Primark 's rendition, which costs £3, is described as a 'lip and cheek jelly tint with a fruity scent'.
It comes in two pink hues - one darker and one softer.
The retailer's social media team took to Instagram to promote the fresh addition to its dupe line up.
They penned: 'One tint... double the charm.'
Beauty buffs were quick to gush over the jelly-textured tint, writing that they were 'running to their nearest Primark now'.
One penned: 'This is a must.'
Another beamed: 'We can always count on Primark for the dupes.'
A third said: 'I absolutely, categorically need these.'
Milk's product, which is designed for lips and cheeks, has won 11 awards thanks to its unique texture and lasting pay-off.
Bosses at the beauty brand describe it as a 'non-comedogenic jelly blush and lip stain with a hydrating, bouncy texture that glides on for a sheer, buildable burst of color that lasts'.
And while Primark's copycat is yet to win any awards, shoppers have already weighed in that the texture is 'amazing'.
Shockingly, Milk had to put out a warning on the jelly tint's product page to prevent people from EATING it.
It read: 'Cooling Water Jelly Tint is not edible.
"It's for looks—not licks. Do not eat it.'

A poem by Justin Heazlewood: ‘This is an ode to hanging out by yourself – and the magic of flavoured milk'
1 The word Lisa is etched into a tree and I feel ill. 2 If I had a straw I would breathe some life into my milk. 3 She says hello, he ignores me and no one is drinking chocolate milk. 4 It's too sweet like melted soap. 5 Another boy drinking my brand. 4° of refrigeration. 6 The chocolate milk doesn't know that I'm preoccupied with listening to blackbirds. 7 He's got plain milk and a tennis ball. It could be an apple. 8 My chocolate milk and I did not guess that girl would finish her tea and have a limp. 9 This milk is unnatural. The corners don't fit my hand. 10 My chocolate milk has faded since I bought it. 11 All I want is someone to agree with me that it's cold, so I can throw my milk away. 12 I can look at my chocolate milk on the internet. 13 If I drank my chocolate milk and no one cared, did I really want it in the first place? Cigarettes and chocolate milk / these are just a couple of my Wainwright, 2001. Sign up to Saved for Later Catch up on the fun stuff with Guardian Australia's culture and lifestyle rundown of pop culture, trends and tips after newsletter promotion I have no recollection of writing this poem but that's a good thing. It's often the way, when you've been writing songs and stories and scripts for 30 years. After a while you think 'Did I write that?'' With diary entries, you can visualise a place and time. Poems exist in the fourth dimension. They're a bridge between the subconscious and waking life. Half-asleep genius. Chocolate Milk is an outlier in my poetry shoebox. It's not like the other poems. Most of them tend to be quite angsty. Anyone who knows anything about my well-documented childhood might appreciate that I have a lifetime of processing to do. This verse is an ode to hanging out by yourself. It's about people watching and inner monologues and the gorgeousness and magic of flavoured milk. Big M, Nippy's, Frosty Boy thickshakes – they were my jam. In 1998 there was a novelty brand called Gary. The labelling had 'Shake Gary well' and 'Open Gary other end'. The kids at Hellyer College thought it was funny. I used to think it was a Tasmania-only thing but I was looking back through one of my old Juice magazines and noticed a full-page ad for Gary. It resembles a scene from the music video for Blur's Coffee and TV. I stopped drinking chocolate milk when I moved to non-dairy in 2015. Chocolate Milk is dedicated to Paul's Just Natural Chocolate, Honey & Malt. I really like this piece as it's playful and random, like me. I can see myself sitting there, wherever I was at the time. Two 'rarest' 50p coins could be in your change - and they're worth over £200
An expert shared how to spot these valuable coins that are highly sought-after by collectors. Brits have been urged to keep an eye out for two rare 50p coins currently in circulation. Combined these pieces could sell for as much as £230 to collectors. When it comes to rare coins you may think that it is only older pieces that are sought after by experts. While antique coins can be valuable, the same is true of modern ones. In a video shared to social media platform TikTok, an expert known as the Coin Collecting Wizard, alerted his followers to two particularly special coins. Both are still used in the UK today, having been minted in recent years. 'The top two rarest 50 pence coins you can find in your change,' he said. Firstly he described what is currently deemed by the Royal Mint as the 'rarest' 50p coin. This piece came as part of a new collection featuring King Charles III on the obverse following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. On its reverse is the picture of a fish - or an Atlantic salmon to be more precise. The expert continued: 'We start with the rarest 50p coin, which is this one right here. Known as the Atlantic salmon from 2023, this is a fairly new coin with only 200,000 out there in the wild.' However, there are a couple of markers to check on the coin to ensure it is valuable. He said: 'But you must make sure it is dated 2023 and has no privy mark on the King side of the coin. If you find this 50 pence, then you can easily sell this one for around £80 to collectors.' He then talked about another 50p coin which was previously known to be the rarest of its kind. The Kew Gardens coin, which features an image of the garden's famous pagoda. Although less rare, this coin tends to sell for even more than the salmon. 'This one is the second rarest 50 pence but actually, quite surprisingly, the most valuable,' he added. 'This is known as the Kew Gardens 50 pence from 2009 and because it's so old and only two or ten thousand were ever made, it makes this coin very valuable to collectors. 'Even though it's in second place as the rarest, if you find the Kew Gardens in your change then no matter the condition you are selling this for around £150.' On it's website, the Royal Mint notes that both these coins are rare. Rebecca Morgan, director of commemorative coin at The Royal Mint said: 'The releasing of mintage figures is an eagerly anticipated event among the coin collecting community – and this year is particularly exciting as we reveal the Atlantic Salmon as the rarest 50p in circulation. 'For the first time in 15 years, the highly collectable Kew Gardens 50p loses its top spot as the rarest in circulation with the Atlantic Salmon 50p splashing its way to number one. '2023 marked pivotal changes for the nation's coinage, including the introduction of coins celebrating King Charles III's coronation entering circulation. Finding these special designs, like the Atlantic Salmon, in your change is a win for all collectors.'
