Lewis gave an unexpected response, he said: "When I was allowed to pee in a Sainsbury's bathroom."
Adele queried: "A staff one?"
Before Lewis told the rest of the funny tale: "A staff one!
"Sorry, yes. But I was on a pub crawl with my pals in Glasgow, and I was bursting.
"And I ran into Sainsbury's, and I was like, 'I'm really sorry is there any chance I can use your bathroom?'
"And they were like, 'are you Lewis Capaldi?' and I go, 'if you want me to be yeah.'
"And he's like 'yeah, sure get in here!"
Grado asks Des if he thought the pair would get the same treatment, and he declares, "No chance!"

In another funny, awkward moment on the breakfast show, Grado grilled Lewis on why he unfollowed him on X, he said: "I believe you followed me on Twitter that night. However, I don't know if I should bring this up."
"Because this has got to me for years and years and years. But months later I checked on Twitter."
Lewis finishes the sentence for him, asking: "Unfollowed?"
Grado responds glumly: "Aye."
Lewis apologised: "Sorry, I don't know what's happened."
Grado pleaded with Lewis for an answer for the snub: "Was it a mistake? Was it something that I tweeted?"
Before Lewis jokingly revealed the reason while laughing: "I found out you were a Rangers fan."
The whole room bursts into laughter at the usual cheeky remark from the global superstar.
Lewis tries to make amends by saying he'll follow Grado back, but before the offer is accepted Adele drops the Two Doors Down star in it.
Adele said: "No, Grado unfollowed you Lewis!"
Grado admits he was annoyed at the time, he said: "Oh, I spat out the dummy big time I was like 'he better not make it now.'
"He then went on to become the biggest, most-streamed artist of all time, so look where that got me!"

Sunday Brunch viewers issue same complaint minutes into Channel 4 show
Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy were back on Sunday Brunch presenting duty and welcomed a host of famous guests but the line-up didn't impress Channel 4 viewers watching at home Sunday Brunch viewers were all left saying the same thing minutes into the latest show. The Channel 4 programme returned on Sunday (August 17) with Tom Grennan, Caity Baser, Susie Dent, Alfie Allen, Conor MacNeill and Joy Crookes as guests. However, fans were left unimpressed with the line-up and rushed to social media to share their thoughts. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "I know 3 of them, its a WR for me. #sundaybrunch." Another added: "#sundaybrunch @sundaybrunch Susie Dent is the only one I have heard of due to Countdown." A third person said: "I know 2 of them this week #sundaybrunch ." It comes after former EastEnders star Maisie Smith broke down in tears last week. The 24-year-old actress appeared on the show to promote her upcoming stint in a stage adaptation of The Talented Mr Ripley but was asked about various aspects of her life and career by hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer. However, as the pair grilled her about her time on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins back in 2022, Maisie found herself overcome with emotion as she watched back clips of the harrowing challenges. However, it seems three years on the memories are still fresh in the star's mind, and while she said it was "the best thing she's ever done" The former Strictly Come Dancing star said: "It was worse than you could even imagine. "When I watched it back, there's so much more that they didn't even show. "When we had mic packs, when they'd change the packs, you weren't allowed to talk. It was severe. There was never 'cut, cast can chill for a bit'. It was intense. Brutal." As Simon and Tim awkwardly rallied around her, she said: "I was so young. I was 19, and it was such a big challenge. I'm proud of myself." Sunday Brunch serves up its usual mix of culinary delights, banter and tunes every week and has been on television screens since 2012. Each programme features Simon cooking with Tim as host.

TASTE TEST: Anglesey's Monuts will leave you wanting more!
Mr Holt's has been described as the island's very own answer to the Willy Wonka factory. The popular business is owned by Richard Holt, a former pastry chef and star of S4C's pastry programme Yr Academi Felys (The Sweet Academy). Over the years, he has run the chocolate factory and café at the former mill at Melin Llynon, near Llanddeusant, and has crafted a popular Siocled range of Welsh chocolates. He has also designed a unique range of Anglesey-branded donuts - nicknamed 'Mônuts', which I, my wife and my son, recently embarked on a journey (of just half an hour or so) to try out. Now, it's worth noting at this point, that there are a lot more things you can do while you visit the Melin Llynon site - from an escape room to a model safari. But, as we were doing a flying visit, we simply stopped for some Monuts and sat by the old mill itself in the sunshine. The location itself is somewhat out of the way on the island, out in the sticks of Llandeusant. But, once you get there - particularly on a hot day like when we visited - it is certainly a lovely spot to sit down at. You're greeted by the historic Melin Llynon mill which dates back to the 1700's. The wonderful Melin Llynon. (Image: Newsquest) We walked in to the Mônuts section and were left impressed by the vast array of delicious options on offer. The Wonka-style hats, which visitors can take a picture with, were a nice touch also. There really was something for everyone to enjoy doughnut-wise with almost any possible flavour you could think of being available to buy. We opted for four doughnuts - Jammy dodger, luxury chocolate, school cake and caramel drizzle - and also bought a chocolate milkshake and a vanilla milkshake. That came to a total of £29.70, which is rather steep, but as a one-off treat cannot be whinged about, particularly as what we bought turned out to be very enjoyable. Also, as they're all hand-crafted by the team themselves, it is of course always great to support a local business where possible. TOP STORIES TODAY Job vacancy is advertised for manager at the new Wylfa site on Anglesey Historic estate set to provide helicopter landing pad for Bangor hospital We sat down at the benches on site to drink our lovely milkshakes and feed a, by then, very hungry one-and-a-bit-year-old some snacks before taking our doughnuts over to my mum and dad's house to share with them. Every single Mônut was wonderful in it's own right, with the jammy dodger one being a sweet toothed person's dream and the school cake option giving me a trip down memory lane to my younger years. My favourite though was the caramel drizzle as it was packed full of flavour. All four doughnuts were more than big enough to justify the price, and I'm glad we decided to share them between the four of us. My mum and dad agreed with us that they were well worth buying and they made for a nice afternoon treat while we caught up with family. I'd certainly go back to Melin Llynon in future to get my hands on another box of Mônuts. And the good news is that Mr Holt will soon be expanding his business' production with the opening of a new factory, supported by more than £250,000 in funding. I can't wait to see what other gems he produces in the months and years to come.

People make 'haunting' discovery about Humpty Dumpty and grim story behind nursery rhyme
The lyrics of the popular nursery rhyme never actually mention an egg - but Humpty Dumpty has been depicted as one in illustrations for centuries. If you've always regarded dear old Humpty Dumpty as a benign egg, you may wish to avert your gaze now. Similarly, if you treasure a beloved collection of illustrated nursery rhymes from your youth, consider this your gentle warning. It transpires that Humpty Dumpty isn't actually an egg - and people have been left stunned by the revelation. As one of the most cherished children's nursery rhymes ever penned, Humpty Dumpty has traditionally been depicted as a guileless egg. Countless illustrations showcasing his shell have been found, dating back to his inaugural egg-like debut in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland follow-up Through the Looking Glass, reports the Mirror. Yet the verse itself contains no reference to an egg whatsoever. Should you require a refresher, here's the rhyme: Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall, All the king's horses and all the king's men, Couldn't put Humpty together again. So what's behind his persistent portrayal as an egg? It's an intriguing query that author Holly Bourne raised on X, formerly Twitter, back in 2023. Posting on social media, she said: "Who decided Humpty Dumpty was an egg? Its not in the lyrics, and deciding he's a giant egg is quite a random leap for someone to make, and everyone else being like, 'yeah, a giant egg on a wall. Of course." And she was far from alone in her bewilderment. One person commented: "This has been haunting me for years." Another added: "This has bugged me for a long time!!" Meanwhile, several other individuals who had just come to the realisation were eager to find out the truth. "This is genuinely the first time I've realised he's not explicitly an egg," one Twitter user confessed. Another queried: "Oh my goodness how did I not realise this?". Fortunately, those with knowledge on the subject were quick to enlighten the curious. Jane Etheridge, Vice Chair of Federation of Children's Book Groups, responded: "It's believed to be Roundhead propaganda about a Royalist cannon. First appearance as an egg was in Through the Looking Glass." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. There is even a grave attributed to Humpty Dumpty the cannon at St Mary's Church in Whitby, though it is shaped like an egg. Additional theories suggest that Humpty Dumpty is actually a narrative about King Richard III and his fall at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485. So there you have it. Despite their varied hypotheses, historians concur that Humpty Dumpty's origins are not as an egg but potentially something far more sombre. In different weird news, chocolate fans were left stunned after learning the "correct" way to eat a popular confection. Toblerone is world famous and instantly recognisable for its triangular segment shape and many indulge in the treat during special moments such as Christmas or snag one from Duty Free while jet-setting. It can also be known to be tough to break off a piece, but one culinary enthusiast uncovered the optimal strategy to claim a segment. Demonstrating on social media, he shared: "So apparently this is how you're supposed to break your Toblerone."
