CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Myrto Uzuni scored a goal in the 40th minute and added an assists, Owen Wolff scored his first goal of the season and Austin FC beat LA 2-1 on Wednesday night to snap the Galaxy's three-game home win streak.
Brad Stuver had three saves and his ninth shutout — second in MLS behind Vancouver's Yohei Takaoka (10) — this season for Austin (8-8-6).
Diego Rubio, on the counter-attack, played a ball-ahead to Uzuni, who cut back to evade a defender at the edge of the box and then blasted a shot inside the left post to open the scoring.
Uzuni misplayed a cross that was deflected but then beat three Galaxy players, including goalkeeper Novak Micovic, to the loose ball near the right post and tapped it to Wolff for the finish from the center of the area that made it 2-0 in the 63rd.
LA (3-14-6), the defending MLS Cup champion which had won back-to-back games for the first time this season, had its three-game unbeaten streak snapped.
Joseph Paintsil converted from the penalty spot in the third minute of stoppage time for the Galaxy. Micovic stopped two shots.
LA had 57% possession and outshot Austin 15-7.
Austin beat the Galaxy 1-0 on April 19.

3 Steelers on offense to watch at training camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers training camp is just around the corner, and there are several exciting storylines for fans to watch closely in Latrobe — including how new and familiar faces will fare on this new-look offense. From one of the fastest receivers in the league to arguably one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, here are three offensive Steelers to watch at training camp. WR Calvin Austin III Steelers WR coach Zach Azzanni named Austin as the de facto WR2 for good reason — his explosiveness and speed are second to none on Pittsburgh's roster. In what's shaping up to be a potential breakout year for Austin under the Aaron Rodgers-led offense, Latrobe will offer fans a glimpse of what to expect in Year 4. TE Jonnu Smith Some believe Smith's versatility will play a major role for Pittsburgh this season — with reports surfacing that he could be used at slot wide receiver and fullback. The Steelers clearly believed he was one of the missing pieces on offense — and all eyes will be on the 2024 Pro Bowl tight end and where he lines up in Latrobe. QB Aaron Rodgers This almost feels like cheating — as it's a no-brainer that a four-time MVP and 20-year veteran QB will be one of the most exciting offensive players to watch at training camp. Pittsburgh has gone all in on what's shaping up to be Rodgers' last season in the NFL — making blockbuster acquisitions on both sides of the ball to gear up for a potential Super Bowl run. Two years removed from a devastating Achilles tear, Rodgers will look to prove that he has more than enough gas in the tank to turn the Steelers' postseason aspirations into reality — and it all starts in Latrobe. Seth Rollins Injures Knee At WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

A Seth Rollins knee injury led to an impromptu finish on Saturday night. Rollins competed against LA Knight at tonight's edition of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in Atlanta. The match went on for a few minutes before Rollins hit a springboard senton and set up a moonsault from the middle rope on the opposite side of the ring. Knight rolled out of the way to avoid it, and Rollins landed awkwardly on his knee. He rolled to the ropes as commentary mentioned that he must have tweaked his knee. Rollins then dragged himself to the corner as the referee tried to check on him. Knight went to attack Rollins, but backed away as the referee called him off. Rollins conferenced with Paul Heyman and the referee, then the doctor came out to the ring. The doctor and Rollins spoke briefly, then Rollins pulled himself up and the match was restarted. Rollins hobbled his way over as Knight rushed him and hit the BFT. Knight immediately made the cover and raised his arms. However, he looked visibly upset about the injury and impromptu finish and could be seen yelling 'f*ck' before leaving the ring. WWE says Seth Rollins' knee is more serious than they originally thought Michael Cole addressed the injury after the match and showed a replay of the moment it happened. Cole said it seems 'much more serious than we first thought.' The Takedown on SI's Rick Ucchino also shared non-televised footage of Rollins being helped backstage: Seth Rollins is the current Men's Money In The Bank briefcase holder. He is the leader of a stable featuring Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman, and recently began a feud with LA Knight on WWE RAW. This was their first-ever singles match against each other. They previously competed against each other in the 2025 Money In The Bank match and the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match. Atlético Madrid star agrees contract termination

A long-time member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid has reached an agreement on a contract termination with the club. That's according to Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Saúl Ñíguez as the player in question. Saúl for his part spent this past season out on loan away from Spain's capital, with Atléti's La Liga rivals, Sevilla. As much came with the 30-year-old no longer featuring in the plans of Diego Simeone and his staff. Saúl has since gone on to return to the Metropolitano, after Sevilla decided against moving forward with a permanent deal for his signature. But as alluded to above, the former Chelsea man's stay back in Madrid will not last at all long… As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano: 'Saúl terminates his contract at Atlético Madrid and leaves the club after 17 years. Trabzonspor will sign Saúl as verbal agreement is done.' Conor Laird – GSFN
