Bethenny Frankel viciously tears apart And Just Like That's disastrous series finale

Daily Mail21 hours ago
Bethenny Frankel took to Instagram on Saturday to share her unfiltered thoughts on the And Just Like That series finale.
The 54-year-old outspoken media personality, who recently revealed the celebrities ChatGPT suggested she date, delivered her fiery hot take in a video recorded from the comfort of her bed.
She captioned the post, shared with her four million followers, '25 pounds of disaster in a 5-pound bag — and yep, it explodes.'
'This is the worst show ever. Honestly, this is from hero to zero. It's just so forced,' she stated in the clip.
Bethenny declared across the video, ' And Just Like That ' sucks.'
In her takedown, she tore into the show's 'outlandish' fashion, plus protagonist Carrie Bradshaw's returning love interest Aidan Shaw (John Corbett), longtime friend Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) and her husband Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler).
She passionately reviewed, 'Everybody's just a weird caricature of themselves and it's just the most bizarre, forced show.'
The former Real Housewives of New York City star added that she was not a fan of the series' 'woke' narratives.
'Put it in the back and shoot it. Put it to rest,' she demanded about the show, whose cancellation was announced earlier this month.
Bethenny was name dropped in a slight included in And Just Like That's June 2023 premiere season.
She prefaced her critique by stating, 'I don't feel bad about saying his because they dragged me in season one when Sarah Jessica Parker's character said, "Every time I thought about getting a place in The Hamptons I always found a reason to not do it," and Seema says, "Was that reason always Bethenny Frankel?"'
The TV star said she 'was actually really flattered' by the line and watched the series 'nevertheless.'
The Sex And the City spinoff concluded with its series finale on Thursday after three seasons.
'I probably would be saying this in a gentler manner, but because they dragged me, this is my innermost self unfiltered, unedited opinion of this show,' she proclaimed.

The post has collected more than 50,000 likes and Bethenny's comment section was full of viewers who agreed with her.
'No they ruined it they really did and I watched it just because it was sex and the city but they really really destroyed something iconic,' one person wrote.
Another person laughed at her Aidan impression and wrote, 'Yea after the first season I was done. Nothing like the original.'
There was also someone who noted, 'Everything woke turns to sh*t. Case closed.'
'Kim Catrell did the right thing in not joining this show,' said another disappointed fan.
But one person wholeheartedly disagreed with Bethenny's take and collected 647 likes with the comment: 'Nope, sorry disagree. Loved it. Huge fan of Sex And The City and this show allowed us to fan out a little while longer.
'It was a nice way to mentally escape for 45 min every week to see something light, funny and fashionable. Sad to see it end.'

Katie Price's ex Alex Reid is 'spearheading a campaign' to take her down

Katie Price's ex-husband of one year Alex Reid is speaking out against the former glamour model in an incredibly dramatic fashion days after Peter Andre did the same. The mum-of-five, 47, started dating Alex hot off the heels from her split with Mysterious Girl hitmaker Peter, and they tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2010. However, after just a year of marriage Alex and Katie called it quits. After Peter posted a shock statement on social media days ago accusing Katie of peddling lies for 16 years, Alex is taking a similar step and has announced he is 'spearheading a campaign' against her. 'Over the years you've seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter Andre, Kieran Hayler, and others,' he said in a video posted on social media this evening. 'I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth. This isn't about gossip, it's about evidence. It isn't about rumour, it's about reality. 'After years of silence the time has finally come to reveal all. This is bigger than one person. It's about honesty, accountability, and supporting those that have been silenced. 'The time for speculation is over. The truth will now be seen and heard.' This comes after a report yesterday that Katie is planning on releasing a three-part personal documentary to coincide with the 30-year anniversary of her becoming one of The Sun's page 3 models. A source told The Mirror that Alex and Kieran Hayler – who was with Katie from 2013 to March 2021 – are teaming up with lawyers to block her from featuring them on the show. A source told The Mirror: 'They feel like they have been backed into a corner and have no choice. 'They just want her to stop trashing them, and can't believe she is being given a platform.' Another source, close to Kieran, said that 'enough is enough' and the men are just looking to move on with their lives but 'can't trust anything' that Katie says. A spokesman for Kieran added: 'We are keeping all our options open. I can confirm Alex Reid is on the same page.' The outlet reported that they have been in contact via an intermediary over the documentary, which is being made by Louis Theroux's production company Mindhouse. It's due to be aired by Sky but lawyers for the pair are said to be urging the broadcaster to reconsider. Last week Kieran – who is dad to Katie's youngest kids Bunny, 11, and Jett, 12 – issued a public apology to Princess after she admitted: 'I wish I could have had a happier childhood.' Meanwhile, days ago Peter spoke out on Instagram with a cutting statement about his ex-wife Katie, who he met on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in 2004. 'For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today,' Peter said. He continued: 'The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. 'For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. 'In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. More Trending 'In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. 'Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.' In a statement to Metro, Katie's representative said in response: 'Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands. 'Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was…' Got a story? Ellie Warner expressed her heart-breaking statement after a family holiday in Spain. One of Gogglebox's fan favourites Ellie Warner has received floods of support from fans following an emotional family update. She shared a heartfelt confession about her two-year-old son on Instagram this weekend. ‌ Ellie first appeared on the Channel 4 programme in 2015 alongside sister Izzi, and the pair quickly became audience favourites. The Leeds sisters have left audiences howling with their witty remarks over the years. ‌ Beyond her television career, Ellie enjoys a loving relationship with partner Nat Eddleston, with whom she has been romantically involved for several years. The couple share two-year-old son Ezra. ‌ One snap saw Ellie, Nat and Ezra together in a family selfie, whilst another photograph showed the TV star soaking up the sun. Ellie also shared endearing pictures of her young son enjoying ice lollies. In her post, Ellie revealed her conflicted feelings as their Spanish break came to an end. She penned: "Had the most amazing holiday in Spain I shed a tear on the morning of the last day because Ezra isn't going to be this little again next time we go away. Who even am I? ! I'm turning into aunty Jayne." ‌ Ellie's fans took to the comments to offer their encouragement. One supporter wrote: "You have amazing memories though, and great photos. It is sad when our babies grow up!" Someone else commented: "What a lovely family, Ezra is so cute. And you are looking amazing Ellie, enjoy every minute of him growing up it goes by in a flash." A third person remarked: "Aw looks Ezra had the time of his life xx super cutie." ‌ Ellie and Izzi last graced our screens in May when series 25 drew to a close. And their fellow cast members Dave and Shirley Griffiths have recently disclosed that the fresh series will arrive on our televisions much earlier than anticipated. ‌ Within the Instagram comments beneath a photograph of Dave and Shirley, one admirer questioned them about when filming would commence for Gogglebox's upcoming series. They enquired: "When you starting filming for gogglebox again @dave_shirl_gogglebox.?". Dave and Shirley subsequently responded: "end of August mate won't be long." The supporter replied: "Ah mate I cannot wait." In other Gogglebox news, a Scots couple were recently axed from the show. Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle announced their departure from the Channel 4 series, saying they were not asked back for the upcoming episodes. The Glaswegian duo made their Gogglebox debut at the beginning of 2022 as the first Scottish cast members to star on the programme in over six years. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
