Reflecting on his personal journey, Shivam said, 'My father played a significant role in my decision to become an actor. Even after he passed away, I still feel his presence in my career. I often have dreams where my father guides me and supports me in my acting journey."
"These dreams give me the strength and motivation to keep pursuing my aspirations. I believe he's my guardian angel, watching over me and leading me toward my goals,' he added.
Known for his grounded personality and emotional depth, Shivam's tribute struck a chord with fans and admirers alike, reminding everyone of the profound influence parental love can have, even beyond a lifetime.
As he continues to grow as an actor on-screen, he carries his father's memory close, letting it shape and strengthen his path.
Shivam Khajuria began his acting career with the show Molkki, where he played the role of Naveen. He soon joined the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, playing the role of Rohit Poddar, Armaan's younger brother and Ruhi's husband—an important step forward in his acting journey.
Presently, he is seen in Anupamaa as Prem "Tiku" Kothari, further expanding his presence in the television industry.

A Thursday

Bachi Karkaria's Erratica and its cheeky sign-off character, Alec Smart, have had a growing league of followers since 1994 when the column began in the Metropolis on Saturday. It now appears on the Edit Page of the Times of India, every Thursday. It takes a sly dig at whatever has inflated political/celebrity egos, and got public knickers in a twist that week. It makes you chuckle, think and marvel at the elasticity of the English language. It is a shooting-from-the-lip advice column to the lovelorn and otherwise torn, telling them to stop cribbing and start living -- all in her her branded pithy, witty style. LESS ... MORE So much more crashes along with a plane A dear friend perished in the Ahmedabad Indian Airlines plane crash of 1988; our domestic carrier still hadn't merged with Air India. No remains of his body were found and his wife lived with a hope she could never bring herself to bury. That flight had originated in Bombay so there would have been more whom I could have lost, and thankfully didn't. But Ahmedabad was my town-in-law, I still have close family there and closer friends. Any of them could have been on board AI 171 last Thursday. To date I know only of one. She missed her flight that morning; her not being on time turning to timeless – and incredulous – gratitude. And perhaps not a little mixed feelings thinking of those who did not get away. What then about Viswashkumar Ramesh? I have often pondered over what it must feel like to be the sole survivor of a tragedy that kills hundreds? Or, worse, the rest of your family? I've been so haunted by this sudden death because it struck in a place I love for many reasons, most of all for its contradictions. No city can be one-dimensional; but Ahmedabad is defined by its dichotomy. The resident deity is Rokda, cash, mounted on dhandho, business, but it is equally home to the most vaunted of IIMs, schools of architecture, design and dance, to so many litterateurs and artists. Aspiration is the common factor, the desire to make life better. Yes, it was also on board that Dreamliner which turned into nightmare. An Ahmedabad-London flight represents the vast percentage of Gujaratis who straddle both places. Those who went to Britain to improve their circumstances or their families going to visit. Or, in the case of software engineer Prateek Joshi, bringing his family to live there with him after six years of struggling for clearances. The one image I can't get out of my head is that of the selfie he posted just before take-off. His own mission-accomplished glow, his beaming wife, his three little kids smiling with yet-not-fully-grasped hope but with definite joy of finally being full-time with Papa. All vapourised in 30 seconds. A one-way ticket as Prateek Joshi never intended it to be. *** Alec Smart said: 'Accident compensation is a contradiction in terms.' "He taught me to never rely on shortcuts or influence": Virat Kohli's emotional Father's Day tribute to his late father

New Delhi [India], June 15 (ANI): On the occasion of Father's Day, Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli shared a heartfelt tribute to his late father, Prem Kohli, reflecting on the values and strength he inherited from him. In a deeply personal message he posted on Sunday, Kohli opened up about a pivotal moment from his childhood that shaped his approach to life and success. Kohli took to his official Instagram handle and posted a beautiful picture along with a message, 'He taught me to never rely on shortcuts or influence -- because if you truly have it in you, hard work will show if you don't have the will to work for it, then maybe you don't deserve it yet. When I was offered an easier path once, he refused it for calm conviction, he said, 'If you're good enough, you'll find your way. And if not, it's better to know that early.' That one moment shaped how I live, work, and show up in the Father's Day to all the fathers whose quiet strength becomes our lifelong compass.' The former Indian captain recounted a moment when he was once offered an easier path in life--something many would have accepted without hesitation but his father declined it on his behalf, making a decision that would go on to define Kohli's attitude toward discipline and self-belief. Virat recently bid adieu to the Test format with a heartfelt note on Instagram, days after his long-time compatriot Rohit Sharma retired from the format. Virat's 14-year journey in the whites transformed India into a result-producing machine. He infused aggression and the culture of fitness into a team riddled with youth and experience. In a career that redefined the demands of the game, Virat scored 9,230 runs at an average of 46.85, with 30 centuries and 31 fifties, and finished as India's fourth-highest run-getter in the format. He recently lifted the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). (ANI)

Tennessee Titans delete viral Father's Day post after fans blast awkward wording

Mandatory Credit: Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports / Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports The Tennessee Titans tried to celebrate Father's Day on Sunday and ended up deleting the whole thing before noon. The post, which was meant to be inclusive and heartfelt, instead confused and irritated fans across the NFL. Fans weren't sure if it was a typo, a joke, or a serious message In what seemed to be an attempt at inclusivity or maybe just a social media team trying to do too much, the franchise accidentally alienated just about everyone. The result? Mass confusion, eye-rolls, and the post getting nuked off their timeline faster than a missed PAT. The message read: — _MLFootball (@_MLFootball) 'Happy Father's Day to all the Titans moms and fatherly figures.' The reactions were immediate. Fans couldn't tell whether the Titans were trying to acknowledge single moms, celebrate 'non-traditional' parental roles, or just completely misunderstood the assignment. Almost immediately, the replies were filled with 'Wait, what??' energy. Social media reactions ranged from confused to straight-up angry. 'Wtf does that even mean?' Some questioned if the team meant to say "parents" instead. Others accused the Titans of trying too hard to be inclusive without thinking it through. One user joked, 'Just say Happy Father's Day, it's not that hard.' It didn't take long before the Titans quietly hit delete on the post, probably hoping people wouldn't notice. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like She Found THIS Chat on Her Husband's Phone and Vanished Overnight medalmerit Learn More Undo But, well, it had already gone viral. Comments poured in blaming the Titans' PR team, calling the message 'unnecessary,' 'confusing,' or 'just weird.' One user wrote: 'You can tell the franchise is ran by a woman.' Another said: 'How hard is it to just say 'Happy Father's Day'? GD.' And others pointed out the inconsistency, asking whether mothers got similar treatment on their day. Although the Titans tried to erase the moment by deleting the post, screenshots and quote tweets are still spreading. It's become yet another lesson in how one awkward social media message can spark a backlash in under five minutes flat. At the end of the day, the Titans likely had good intentions but their delivery made things worse. In trying to be inclusive, they ended up sounding tone-deaf, and NFL fans aren't exactly known for letting that slide. Moral of the story? Just say 'Happy Father's Day.' No remix needed.
