Bigg Boss 18 fame Edin Rose opens up about freezing her eggs; says 'I want babies, but I don't know about the man part yet'
The actress recently wrapped up the shoot for her upcoming film Love Insurance Kompany, which is backed by superstar Nayanthara's production. While her professional journey is on a steady rise, Edin also continues to win hearts with her grounded and kind nature.
In a recent interview with Filmygyaan, she made a personal revelation that has sparked both curiosity and admiration: 'I'm going to freeze my eggs, I want babies but I don't know about the man part yet.
I am going to do it in two days. I'm going to freeze my eggs. I want babies. I am 26, I'm turning 27 and I feel like my life is getting over as I'm getting old. If it were to happen organically and I get married well and good. I'm a family oriented person.
I do want to get married and have kids but there's a high chance I won't find a partner how I want him to be because of the generation we live in."
She further added, "My mom came two days ago because I was super sick and I sat her down.
I told her I want to have a very important conversation with you. I told her this week I'm going to freeze my eggs. My mom is a very open minded person but in such things she's a little old school and she gave me a look. I was like what? She told me why can't you do things the traditional way and she asked me to get married. I said 'get married to who?' Do you know any man because I don't know any man? She is like rishte aate rehte hain.
I told her why would I want to go through that trauma aaj banda accha hai kal nahi hua toh? What if he doesn't love me? I've seen so many cases where a man is head-over-heels in love with a woman, she gets pregnant and is busy with kids and that man is cheating. Who wants to go through it? I told my mom look your husband was good, mine might not be so let me just freeze my eggs because I want babies beautiful like me. I am very fond of kids, but I don't know about the man part."
In an age where conversations about fertility, single parenting, and women's autonomy are finally getting the space they deserve, Edin's candidness adds an authentic voice to the dialogue.

Optical Illusion: Can your brain beat the clock? Find the lone 'IiI' in a Sea of 'III'
Test your visual perception with this brain-teasing optical illusion! Hidden within a sea of "lll" patterns lies a single "lil." Can you spot the imposter in under 7 seconds? This challenge hones your observation skills and attention to detail, making it a fun and effective brain workout. Optical illusions are not only fun, they're also a fantastic workout for your brain and eyes. Today's challenge is a deceptively simple one, but don't let that fool you. At first glance, the image appears to be filled with identical patterns of 'III' repeated in neat rows. But hidden somewhere in this jumble is a single impostor, the elusive 'IiI.' Image Credit: Hindustan Times Your mission? Find the hidden 'IiI' within just 7 seconds. It may sound easy, but here's the catch; our brains are wired to recognise patterns quickly. When faced with so many identical shapes, our visual system tends to skim over subtle differences. The lowercase 'i' blends almost seamlessly between two uppercase 'Is', tricking your eyes into thinking it's just another 'III.' That's why most people scan the entire image several times before spotting the odd one out. Don't read every group of letters individually. Instead, look for a tiny vertical gap where the dot of the 'i' might catch your attention. Sometimes, shifting your focus to different parts of the image instead of staring at one section can make the hidden detail pop out. So, are you ready? Set a timer, take a deep breath, and start scanning. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Dubai villas | search ads Get Deals Undo Somewhere in this sea of 'III,' the sneaky 'IiI' is hiding, waiting to be discovered. It's been over four decades since Hema Malini and Dharmendra tied the knot, but their romance began years earlier, even before the release of Sholay. As the iconic film marks its 50th anniversary, Hema's stunt double in the movie, Reshma Pathan, has opened up about the couple's private relationship during the shoot. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Reshma, who performed all of Hema Malini's stunts in Ramesh Sippy's cult classic, revealed, 'Hum sabko pata tha ke Hemaji aur Dharamji ka ishq chal raha hai (we all on the set knew that they were dating). But they never showed that on the set. They were always professional. Set pe toh alag alag hi rehte the (on the set, they kept their distance from each other).' Separate rooms, separate circles The 71-year-old stuntwoman further shared that actors of the earlier era valued privacy when it came to relationships. 'Pehle ke log, alag alag hi hote the aur set pe nahi dikhate the (actors from the old days were really different in private and didn't reveal it on set). They were in the same hotel, but in different rooms. In their free time, Dharamji stayed with his team and Hemaji spent time with hers — I was part of her team too.' An enduring love story Reshma expressed pride in seeing the couple together even after decades. Janmashtami this year is special; I have a little Krishna: Harshika Poonacha
For actress Harshika Poonacha , Janmashtami has always been more than just a festival; it's a collection of childhood memories, colourful traditions, and now, a joyous occasion for her and her husband Bhuvann Ponnannaa to make new memories with their daughter, Tridevi Ponnakkaah. 'I remember when I was a child, my mother loved dressing me up. In school plays, I was often Radha, though sometimes one of the boys would get to be Krishna. Every year brought a new Krishna, a new Radha, and a lot of dancing. Those memories have stayed with me… and now I get to carry forward those traditions,' she smiles. Over the years, Harshika has also found inspiration in Krishna's teachings. 'The lines from the Bhagavad Gita are answers to so many of life's problems. During my pregnancy, I read a chapter every day. It gave me strength, especially during difficult times, and even when I went into labour, my father-in-law recited shlokas to encourage me.' ' JANMASHTAMI IS A FESTIVAL THAT'S VERY CLOSE TO MY HEART' This year's Janmashtami is something Harshika's been looking forward to, as it is the first with her nine-month-old daughter. 'I always imagined dressing her as Krishna, in the dhoti, pearls, and tiny accessories. She looks so adorable,' she says with a laugh. Today, Harshika's Janmashtami celebrations at home will be simple. 'I'm going to invite the neighbourhood kids, share sweets, and let Tridevi enjoy their company. She has just started crawling, and I want to capture those little moments of her looking at older kids and wondering how they move so fast.
