Nebraska football freshman wide receiver Cortez Mills named to South Florida Watch List
Mills comes to Nebraska after putting together an accomplished high school career. He had 1,640 yards as a junior and 466 yards and six touchdowns as a senior in high school. He was selected to the Navy All-American Game and looks to make an impact at the collegiate level. Mills' big-play threat ability certainly lends itself to the opportunity to see the field.
Benjamin seemed to be extremely high on Mills, as he wrote about in his piece.
"The Cornhuskers have a relatively young receiving corps, giving Cortez Mills a real opportunity to get on the field early this season. Aside from projected starter, senior Dane Key, Mills will be battling underclassmen for the most part for playing time."
Although there is depth at the wide receiver position, Mills could have the opportunity to get on the field early. The Huskers' wide receiver group has been revamped, and offensive coordinator Dana Holgerson has made it clear that he will play the best wide receivers. Mills could certainly fall into that category sooner rather than later.

2025 4-star small forward commits to ACC program over Texas A&M
Texas A&M had its eye on 2026 four-star small forward Billy White III, but after reclassifying to the 2025 class, White committed to the SMU Mustangs over the Aggies on Thursday afternoon. Coach Bucky McMillan has done an admirable job piecing together a roster in a short amount of time after jumping from the Southern Conference to the SEC. Still, winning key recruiting battles can be tough sledding for an unproven Power Five coach. SMU, meanwhile, brought in a long-time USC coach with five NCAA tournament appearances, including an Elite Eight run, which gave them a slight edge in landing White. Offensively, White is exactly what Coach Bucky was looking for. He's a rangy 6'8" shooter with a 6'11" wingspan and a natural feel for the game. While he needs to improve defensively, he's considered an elite talent overall. According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, White is No. 49 nationally, the No. 12 small forward, and the No. 5 prospect in the state of Texas. Dylan Cardwell signs contract with Kings G League Affiliate
One of the most influential members in Auburn basketball history will start his first proffesional season in the NBA G League. Center Dylan Cardwell, who finished his Tigers career with a program record 166 games played, signed a contract with the Sacramento Kings G League Affiliate, the Stockton Kings, earlier this week. Cardwell's two-way contract comes off the heels of an impressive NBA Summer League stretch which saw the center collect 2.3 points, 0.7 blocks and 3.3 rebounds per game over a six-game span. The five-year contributor at Auburn flashed the effort and motor that made him a fan favorite on the Plains throughout his Summer League stint, leading to plenty of highlight level dunks and blocks throughout his campaign. While Cardwell wasn't quite impressive enough to earn a contract with the big league squad, the un-drafted rookie now has the chance to develop in a Kings system that lacks top-end front court talent. Auburn's all-time winningest player is unlikely to turn himself into a double-digit scorer in the NBA, but relentless defense and a keen knack for finding rebounds could lead to success in the G League, and possibly the NBA. Dylan Cardwell finished his Auburn career with 700 career points, 641 rebounds, and 211 blocks in 166 games played. He ranks among the top 5 in games played (first), blocks (fourth), and offensive rebounds (second).
