Anusha Dandekar reveals she's dating herself, focusing on self-awareness Anusha returns in Hunter Season 2 with Suniel Shetty.
Anusha Dandekar says she's taken – but there's a twist. In a world where everyone's watching who's dating whom, Anusha just threw a curveball. It's not a mystery man who's won her heart but someone else. When asked about her dating life, Anusha told News18 Showsha, 'I am dating someone very special right now. Super special. And that person… is me."
She doubled down on the sentiment, explaining her journey towards deeper self-awareness and love. She said, 'No really, I'm learning to date me. I'm genuinely interested in this person. I want to sit down with them, take them to dinner, ask them questions, get to know them. I think it's important."
And while most people deal with subtle pressure to 'settle down," Anusha's parents are clearly chill about her taking her time. 'Not at all. My parents are way too cool. They're like, 'If it makes you happy, do it.' So, yay! Thanks, Mom and Dad!" she said.
On the topic of red flags, both hers and others', Anusha didn't hold back and said, 'Honestly… I might be a red flag!" (laughs) 'I'm figuring that out while I'm dating myself. But yeah, red flags — we all know what they are. I don't need to spell it out. The important part is not denying them. Don't convince yourself that something is okay when deep down you know it isn't."
On a parting note, Anusha said, 'If you're ignoring a red flag, then maybe your red flag is allowing that. You've got to sit with yourself and ask why am I accepting this? It all comes down to being honest with yourself first."
Anusha Dandekar's most talked-about relationship was with actor Karan Kundrra, who is now dating actress Tejasswi Prakash. The two dated for several years and were a regular presence at public events, making headlines for their chemistry. Anusha has also been linked to actor Jason Shah in the past.
Anusha Dandekar makes a comeback to screens with Hunter Season 2, where she steps into the shoes of a full-blown action hero. The series, led by Suniel Shetty, takes the stakes higher this time around.

Panchayat Actor Faisal Malik Defends Anurag Kashyap's Rants: ‘Imaandaar Aadmi Satak Jata Hai'

Faisal, who began his acting journey with Kashyap's cult film Gangs of Wasseypur, described the filmmaker as someone who's worn multiple hats. Panchayat actor Faisal Malik has come out in strong support of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, offering an empathetic view on the director's often fiery social media posts. In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Faisal explained that Kashyap's outbursts should be seen not as impulsive tantrums but as passionate reactions of a man deeply invested in the craft of filmmaking. Faisal, who began his acting journey with Kashyap's cult film Gangs of Wasseypur, described the filmmaker as someone who's worn multiple hats including director, writer, producer, showrunner, and poured his heart into every role. 'If you look at Anurag Kashyap's work, you will understand why these outbursts happen. He is extremely loyal. Aur imaandaar aadmi tedha hota hai thoda sa. Satak jata hai," he said, suggesting that Kashyap's honesty and integrity often manifest as emotional reactions. The actor emphasised that Kashyap's commitment to his artistic vision has made him a trailblazer, not just in the kind of stories he tells, but also in the talent he has nurtured. 'He has given several amazing directors to the industry. They are all doing so well today. This proves he is extremely dedicated to cinema," Faisal noted, underscoring that Anurag's influence goes beyond his own filmography. Faisal further added, 'So, whenever someone wrongs him or wants him to compromise with his craft, woh satak jaate hai. When it comes to cinema, he is a great man." Known for his powerful performance as Prahlad in Panchayat, Faisal's own trajectory reflects a deep appreciation for rooted, honest storytelling—values he clearly associates with Kashyap. The web series, which gained popularity during the pandemic, resonated with audiences through its simplicity and emotional depth. Featuring an ensemble cast of Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Jitendra Kumar, and Chandan Roy, Panchayat has become a household favourite and a benchmark for small-town narratives told with heart.
