Post Malone is officially going to perform at the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Hold onto your cowboy hats – Post Malone is heading back to the capital.
The multi-platinum, genre-mashing superstar has just been confirmed for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix's legendary After-Race Concerts, taking over Etihad Park on Friday December 5, 2025.
That's right – the 'Circles' and 'Sunflower' hitmaker (and now country chart-topper) will be performing live as part of what's shaping up to be one of the wildest F1 weekend line-ups we've seen.
Posty will be joined by Benson Boone on Thursday, Metallica on Saturday and Katy Perry closing things out with a bang on Sunday. From stadium rock to pop bangers and hip-hop fusions, there's something for everyone – and then some.
Organised by Ethara, this year's Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the 17th edition of the race, running from Thursday December 4 to Sunday December 7 and if you haven't snapped up tickets yet, you might want to get a move on. With this A-list line-up, they're going fast.
Post Malone last lit up the Yas Island stage in 2018 – a performance many fans still rave about – and now he's returning with even more hits under his belt. With 'Rockstar', 'Wow', 'Congratulations' and his latest country-crossover single 'I Had Some Help' riding high on the charts, expect sing-alongs, surprises and maybe even some cowboy swagger.
If you already have your race ticket, then you've scored access to the after-race concerts – but you can level up with a Golden Circle upgrade for front-row views. And if you're feeling fancy, check out the deluxe hospitality packages or get general access via the Garden on Yas one-day pass.
From Dhs1,025. Thu December 4. Etihad Park, Yas Island, yasmarinacircuit.com, abudhabigp.com.

Fly to Riyadh to catch jaw-dropping gaming action at the 2025 Esports World Cup

Not sure what to do in August? We recommend hopping on a short flight to Riyadh, where one of the biggest Esports events on the planet is currently taking over the city. Yes, the Esports World Cup 2025 is drawing in thousands of gaming fans, but trust us, it's not just for the pros. Even if you're not a gamer, there's still plenty to enjoy. You'll get behind the wheel with F1 simulators, try your hand at Japanese calligraphy and origami, snack your way through tasty treats and immerse yourself in a world of anime, cosplay and pop culture at every turn. It's a seven-week celebration of all things gaming, and it's well worth the trip. Take a quick look at what's happening: The Esports World Cup 2025 The massive multi-game tournament is running till Sunday August 24, all taking place in Boulevard City. This year, the competition has gone bigger with 2,000 professional gamers and over 200 clubs representing more than 100 countries, battling it out across 25 challenges in 24 games for a staggering prize pool of Dhs257 million (USD70 million). Games include DOTA 2, League of Legends, Rocket League, PUBG, Call of Duty and Counter-Strike. You will, of course, be able to watch the live action unfolding across different arenas. Content Creator Park Content creators can catch their favourite streamers live, competing in titles like Fortnite Zero Build, EA Sports FC 25, Rocket League and Codenames. There'll be interactive meet-and-greets, and you never know who you'll bump into as creators from across the globe are joining in. Aramco Sim Arena If racing gets your adrenaline going, make time for the Aramco Sim Arena, where 20 high-end simulators give fans a shot at the Formula 1 life. Climb into the motion-supported seats and feel the rush as you race on realistic tracks, right next to a life-size Aston Martin F1 show car. There's a contest, too. The top 20 will battle it out in a qualifying round on Thursday August 21, with the grand final race going down on Friday August 22. What's the prize, you ask? A chance to take part in a special driver development programme at Aston Martin's Silverstone HQ (consider our jaws dropped). Petrolheads should also swing by the Jameel Motorsport Park, where they can design and customise replica car parts (like spoilers). Japan Park Head over to Japan Park if you want to experience Tokyo's neon-hued nightlife. The space channels traditional Japanese culture with staff in kimonos, anime character appearances, calligraphy and origami workshops, and even a traditional Ainu sword dance performance on select nights by Daiki Hiramura – inspired by the anime Golden Kamuy. Food-wise, you'll find ramen, sushi, mochi and other Japanese favourites at the stalls scattered around the park. Book your tickets: From Dhs959.49 (Weekly all-access pass). Until Sun Aug 24.
