Kanye West's Shanghai concert faces refund chants; the rapper struggles through bad weather and technical errors
, the controversial singer, tried to return to the stage gigs and performances, but was riddled with chants for refunds after the concert was tainted with technical errors during the bad weather and his unpunctuality.
Kanye West's concert had unexpected chants...
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the music mogul had a rocky start at the Shanghai, China's concert on Friday. West, who has been struggling to find concert partners due to his erratic social behaviour, returned to China after his tickets were sold in minutes. In support of his upcoming album 'Bully,' many locals bought the tickets and were indifferent to his controversial slurs and chants.
The gig, which was promoted as 'an immersive, multisensory experience, promising innovative stage design, upgraded setlists, and international production teams' by The Global Times, was scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
However, as the heavy rain poured down the centre stage and onto the crowd, due to the open roof, the crowd started getting restless, followed by chants for refunds.
Not the visuals, nor the sound system
At 8:10 p.m., Kanye entered the arena with the fog, projections and spotlights, but the concert had fewer visual elements. While the videos of him performing even in the disastrous weather circulated in the media, the locals reported that the sound quality was mediocre and inconsistent throughout the performance.

While the concert was underway, there were online debates about Kanye West. Many argued that the concert failed because of the unprecedented weather conditions, while others blamed the lazy visual displays or even a plot to get money from China, as he remains controversial in his hometown.
According to The Global Times, the tickets for Kanye West's concert were a tad pricey for the locals, ranging from 980 yuan (₹11,756.24) to 2,680 yuan (₹32,149.71).

Ayesha Raza praised director Zoya Akhtar for her compassionate and meticulous approach on 'Dil Dhadakne Do' and 'Made In Heaven'. Anil Kapoor shared his initial hesitance about playing a father but was encouraged by his son. Raza recently appeared in the film 'Aap Jaisa Koi'. Zoya Akhtar masterfully directed 'Dil Dhadakne Do', creating and guiding an ensemble cast comprising an array of Bollywood stars such as Anil Kapoor , Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, and Farhan Akhtar. Renowned for her sense of responsibility as a filmmaker, Zoya drew praise from cast members for her meticulous approach and genuine empathy on set. Ayesha Raza, who portrayed Indu in the film, and whose character famously garnered fame as "Indu Chachi" and "Dilli Ki Beyonce," recently shared her admiration for Zoya's thoughtful working style and careful attention to each detail while filming. Ayesha Raza expresses admiration for Zoya Akhtar During an interview with Just Too Filmy, when asked about her biggest inspiration among directors, Raza immediately named Zoya. She explained that Zoya makes feel like the most important person in the world, and that 'Dil Dhadakne Do' was among the first big films she worked on. At that time, she was relatively new and lacked much experience, but whenever she suggested a change, Zoya would simply say, 'Okay, show me how you would do it. ' Raza appreciated how Zoya allowed an actor the freedom to experiment rather than always insisting on her own ideas, which she described as remarkable and what makes Zoya so magical. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like No annual fees for life UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo Ayesha Raza's memorable on-set moment from ' Made In Heaven ' To emphasize her point, Raza shared a memorable experience from the set of the Prime Video show 'Made In Heaven'. She recalled that while shooting in a tiny flat in Nizaamuddin, she was on a treadmill eating sweets. Since she couldn't keep eating sweets for every shot, she asked for a bin to spit into. However, there was no space for a bin, and even the assistant directors couldn't stand there. Zoya then took a tissue in her hand and told her to spit into that. Raza said this is how 'held' an actor can feel when a director is there for them in every possible scenario during filming. Anil Kapoor's hesitation and son's encouragement Among the memorable characters in the film was Kamal Mehra, portrayed by the veteran Anil Kapoor. During a SCREEN interview, he revealed his initial reluctance to take on the role of a father. He recalled, 'When she narrated the script to me, Ranveer Singh was on board then. I said, 'Ye kya Ranveer ke baap ka role, nahi yaar.' Because in India, you get stuck in a stereotype." Anil Kapoor credited his son, Harshvardhan Kapoor, for persuading him. Harsh had previously encouraged him to act in Slumdog Millionaire in 2007, saying, "It's okay, yaar, you've done enough of running around the trees. Do this grey character!' For 'Dil Dhadakne Do', Harsh advised him not to see it as a father's role, but simply as an engaging character to portray. Ayesha Raza's recent work Raza was recently seen in the film 'Aap Jaisa Koi', alongside R. Madhavan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sahib Chatterjee, and Karan Wahi.

How much is Battlefield 6 going to cost?
Image via EA. There has been a lot going on regarding Battlefield 6. Players are getting scammed with the promise of fake playtest, in-game character classes getting leaked, maps are getting disclosed in leaked Battlefield Lab gameplay footage, and many more. Even the community was already aware of the game's existence even before it was actually released and all thanks to the credible leakers and insiders. Now, another rumor has surrounded the internet which claims Battlefield 6 might be priced higher than usual. But is that really the case? Let's find out. EA slams all the Battlefield 6 cost rumors Some recent rumors have claimed that Battlefield 6 is going to cost more than the usual price point of general AAA titles. These rumors also got a solid base because of the current industry trends, where game publishers are leaning towards increasing the prices of their titles. AAA games have historically been stranding around the $60 price point. But after the pandemic hit the market in 2020, that price point saw a leap to around $70. Now recently, developers and publishers are thinking about another price hike. However, that's not going to happen in the case of Battlefield 6. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Instant Payment for Used Cars Cars24 - Sell Your Car Sell Now Undo In the recently held Q1 2025 earnings call of EA, CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that Battlefield 6 is not going to cross the current $70 standard price point. This also debunks all the rumors circling around BF6's increased price of $80. Wilson went further by stating that the company will continue to look at opportunities to deliver great value to its players through 'various pricing schemes over the course of time, but no dramatic changes [are] planned yet.' However, major gaming houses like Nintendo didn't follow this step as Mario Kart World was recently released with a price tag of $80. Not only Nintendo, Microsoft has also confirmed that upcoming Xbox games are going to be priced at $80 as well, like The Outer Worlds 2. So, it's really good to see EA not following the current market trends and allowing the players to grasp more opportunities. However, the potential price point of Battlefield 6 is still going to disappoint a lot of fans as it's not going to be priced under $60 at least, which was the general price slab for AAA games before 2020.
