Armed officers swarm street after pack of dogs attacks 'several people'
Three dogs attacked and injured people in Hartlepool after they escaped from a property. Armed officers rushed to Sheriff Street in Hartlepool this afternoon after three German Shepherds escaped from a home and attacked people. Residents in the neighbourhood were told to keep their doors closed and stay indoors as the animals were on the loose. Three people were injured when the dogs lunged at them. More Trending The police confirmed that 'none of the dogs have been destroyed' following 'some speculation circulating on social media.' Cleveland Police said: 'Three dogs have been seized by police following an incident in Hartlepool shortly before 2pm this afternoon (Sunday 1st June). 'The German Shepherd dogs had escaped from a property on Sheriff Street in Hartlepool and attacked several people in the street. Those injured were treated by paramedics at the scene. 'All of the dogs have been removed from the property by officers, and the area is now safe again.' Got a story? Plans for UK's tallest skyscraper outside London get the go ahead on second try
Plans to build new tallest skyscraper in Britain outside the capital are going ahead after suffering problems with permissions. The 76-storey, 246m tall Nobu Manchester tower will overtake Renaker's Plot D tower, which will be 213 tall when it finishes, as the tallest regional building and the third-tallest in the UK overall. Standing at the height of 55 double-decker buses stacked on top of each other, it is named after Robert De Niro's luxury hotel and restaurant chain, which will have a branch there along with 452 'luxury' apartments. Developers Salboy say it will also be the tallest residential building in Western Europe. The skycraper secured planning permission in April along with a 23-storey tower at the same site. But a council report found that an administrative error meant developers did not properly consult the Music Venue Trust (MVT), a charity classed as a key body. MVT objected to the plans on the basis they could threaten nearby popular gig venue Rebellion, which feared complaints from new residents. The council said 'key factors such as worst-case noise scenarios, audience attendance numbers and venue operation timings, which include live music and DJ events throughout the week' were not properly considered. MVT said 'further acoustic testing should be undertaken' before going ahead with the development. More Trending Councillors voted to give Nobu Manchester the green-light again after a senior member of the council's planning department ordered more acoustic testing. The flats at Nobu Manchester will be 'luxury residences' while the smaller accompanying tower will include 133 affordable flats, the developers say. Simon Ismail, Salboy boss, said: 'As the location of not just the tallest tower outside London but a large number of high quality affordable homes, Viadux has the potential to become a symbol of this city's aspirations and confidence in itself. Viadux now promises to shape not only Manchester's skyline for years to come, but the city's sense of identity on the global stage.' Salboy, founded in 2014 by BetFred owner Fred Done, is behind a large number of recent high-rise developments in Greater Manchester. Christian said: 'He's (the officer) saying 'stay over there', at that point he's pointing the gun, I've just jumped in front of my mum, I've got my hands up while my mum is literally having a panic attack. 'While this is happening I've got my hands up in the air trying to calm my mum down saying, It's just a taser. 'When I was stood there and he's gone 'don't move', I thought the tension was that high that a mistake was about to arise." Advertisement The owner of the dogs was arrested inside her home the same night and is alleged to have assaulted the firearms officer when she was taken into custody. She was detained on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and being in possession of a dog dangerously out of control - though the German Shepherd has been left in her possession. She has since been released on bail under strict conditions which include a no contact order for Christian and an order to walk her remaining dog on a leash. Christian, who was left "traumatised" by the attack, is struggling to have the owner's bail conditions amended after she was released with her German Shepherd back to the same address. He alleges that both the now dead Advertisement He has lodged complaints with the police about the German Shepherd and is hoping to have stricter bail conditions placed on the owner and the aggressive dog taken from her care. Making several complaints to the Greater Manchester Police and contacting his local MP about the incident, Christian has yet to hear back from the authorities. He said: 'They've arrested her and left the German shepherd there, they got the dog handler to assess the German shepherd and they didn't realise that it was also part of the attack because they were so focussed on the bulldog." A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 1am on the morning of Saturday 3 May, officers received a call regarding reports of two dogs dangerously out of control and attacking a man on Penfield Close, Manchester. "Specialist officers were deployed to the scene and due to the threat of ongoing risk and harm posed by one of the dogs, it was destroyed at the scene. Kanye West Concert Suddenly Canceled
Rapper Kanye West was set to play a concert in South Korea later this month, but it sounds like that concert has been abruptly canceled amid the rapper's most recent controversial moves. Kanye West, who now goes by just Ye, was slated to play a concert in South Korea's Incheon Munhak Stadium on Saturday, May 31. The concert was set to be titled "Bully" after his upcoming demo album by the same name. But unfortunately for Ye, the concert is no longer happening. On Monday, the concert organizer, Coupang Play, announced that the concert had officially been canceled. "Due to recent controversies surrounding artist Kanye, the 'YE concert in South Korea' scheduled for May 31 (Saturday) has regrettably been canceled," Coupang Play said in a statement, via South Korean news outlet Chosun Biz. Coupang Play also announced that the sale of the concert's merchandise would also be suspended. "Sales of Yeezy brand MD products will also be suspended starting at 1 p.m. on May 19 (Monday)," Coupang Play announced. This comes after the rapper's latest controversial move as he released a pro-Hitler song called 'Heil Hitler' on May 8, the same day World War II officially ended in 1945. The song featured antisemitic lyrics as well as an excerpt of a speech from a 1935 Adolf Hitler speech. The song has been banned from major streaming platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, YouTube and SoundCloud. Although the instrumental version called The Heil Symphony, is on the streaming sites. The instrumental version was released on May 14.

Kanye West has released his lost album 'Donda 2' after he revealed on a livestream that he was planning to drop the record today.
