Dolly Parton's brand-new 'Joleans' jeans can 'make any butt look good'

Yahoo07-04-2025

Dolly Parton's chart-topping hits and electrifying performances have made her a music legend, and a beloved one at that. But the singing, songwriting superstar is also a savvy businesswoman — Dollywood, anyone? — not to mention a style icon for six decades and counting. And she's been working nine to five cooking up her latest venture, Dolly's Joleans, a fashion collaboration with Good American, Khloe Kardashian's denim brand.
The star of the collection is a pair of flare jeans that Dolly says are designed to "make any butt look good, especially if you've got a good butt, they look great. If you've got just an okay butt, they still look great," as she shared with People magazine. The jeans draw their country inspiration from Dolly's own signature wardrobe with flared legs, a classic five-pocket style and Western yolk detailing in the back.
Dolly's jeans have a handful of features that help them flatter the figure of any diva who chooses to rock them. That includes tummy control in the front, weightless SotTech denim that stretches to conform to your unique curves and a gap-proof waistband, no tailoring necessary. It was important to Dolly that these jeans had body-contouring appeal in the way they're stitched, the way the pockets are placed and the kind of denim used.
'I want women, when they put on Dolly's Joleans, to think, 'Ooh, I feel good in these,' then to turn around and look and say, 'My butt looks good in these,' because it does," Parton said. "I think this collection shows my personal taste as my country-girl self, and through the years, I've worn gingham and denim and all the things that we have in our collection. I love the sparkle. I love the rhinestones that we have."
You can find Dolly's Joleans collection at Nordstrom, but keep in mind that the flare jeans are almost sold out. Their beauty is beyond compare, and so is the rest of the line, which includes more Dolly staples like gingham and rhinestones. Keep scrolling for more pieces we're loving — snap up your favorite looks before they're sold out.

Princess Charlotte's Expected Role at Trooping the Colour Proves She's the Ultimate Big Sister

Princess Charlotte, 10, and the rest of the royal family are gearing up for Trooping the Colour on June 14 and fans are already expecting an important personal role for her. The middle child of Prince William and Kate Middleton is known to be the reliable rule-follower in the family — that means she will probably be helping Mom keep Prince Louis' adorable antics to a minimum. A royal source promised GB News that Charlotte loves playing the big sister role to her little brother. And if he misbehaves? More from SheKnows Kate Middleton's 2025 Trooping the Color Look Honors Both Princess Diana & Queen Elizabeth II 'Don't worry, his sister will do [take care of] that,' the palace insider confirmed. At Trooping the Colour in 2024, Charlotte was spotted helping Louis with royal protocol. She sweetly showed him how to hold his arms for the English National Anthem, but she also scolded him to 'stop' when he danced on the balcony. Charlotte takes her royal role very seriously. Princess Charlotte's 'strong character' is why her appearances will reportedly be ramped up this summer. Childrenswear designer Amaia Arrieta described the young royal to People as 'almost wise beyond her years.' 'She looks very confident and at ease with herself and the environment she's in,' she added. 'The maturity that comes with that responsibility—she seems to nail it every time.' Prince Louis, 7, has become known for his carefree, wild streak, something that royal fans don't necessarily see in Prince George, 11, or his younger sister. BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond explained why there seems to be parenting differences with Louis. 'Being the youngest is often something of a privilege,' she told the Mirror. 'You get away with a lot more and you are that little bit special as the last-born.' 'Catherine probably lets Louis run wild more than she did with George. She and William are very experienced parents and I'm sure they love all three kids equally—but probably in different ways,' she added. 'George because he's the first-born and has a destiny to fulfill, Charlotte because she's the only girl, and Louis because he's the youngest.' So, Charlotte will likely step up and guide Prince Louise throughout the Trooping the Colour festivities as she shines as a leader in the royal family. Gerard Butler Made People 'Cower' on 'How To Train Your Dragon 'Set While Reprising Stoick the Vast Role (Exclusive)

Gerard Butler reprises his How to Train Your Dragon role of Stoick the Vast in the 2025 live-action remake Butler previously voiced the character for the franchise's animated films Mason Thames, who stars as Hiccup in the remake, recalls Butler's powerful presence on setGerard Butler was all too perfect to play a viking chief in How to Train Your Dragon. Costar Mason Thames, who plays Hiccup in the 2025 live-action remake of the beloved animated movie series, recounts how the 55-year-old Scottish actor evoked an intimidating viking spirit while filming. "When he would walk on set, you would feel that presence," Thames, 17, says of Butler, who reprises his role of Stoick the Vast from the animated films. "It's insane to see it in person and him bringing that character to life with the voice, the energy, the giant brute force that Stoick is — him bringing that to life was so incredible to watch." Thames notes that Butler, who has previously played intimidating characters such as Leonidas the King of Sparta in 300, was impressive to witness once he transformed into mighty Chieftain of Berk. "I feel like he would walk on set and everybody would kind of cower a little bit, including myself," Thames says, describing how people would see Butler in full costume and makeup — beard, armor and all — and call him "chief." The Black Phone 2 actor says that working with Butler and "building chemistry" as they tackled their father-son dynamic for the film was enjoyable because of the "energy" he brought to set. The new film is directed by Dean DeBlois, director of the animated How to Train Your Dragon trilogy, The three animated films, inspired by author Cressida Cowell's bestselling book series, came out in 2010, 2014 and 2019, and each earned Oscar nominations for Best Animated Feature. The new How to Train Your Dragon also stars Nico Parker as the intrepid Astrid, Hiccup's love interest and Nick Frost as Gobber, Hiccup's mentor. The cast also features Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, Ruth Codd, Peter Serafinowicz and Murray McArthur. A synopsis for the film teases, "On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast, Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society." How to Train Your Dragon is now in theaters. Read the original article on People
