After finding a German short-haired pointer abandoned on the side of the road and left to die alone, a woman from the United Kingdom got in contact with his former owner, but she wasn't ready to hear what he had to say.
In a viral TikTok video shared in June under the username @sophiahutson, the poster shares footage of the 1-year-old pup, Cooper, formerly known as Copper, on the day she found him back in November.
"POV [point of view]: you've been dumped in a lay-by on a national speed limit road," she writes in the clip, as the puppy immediately warms up to her, playing with her like he knows she is there to save him.
Trying to return the pup to his owner, the poster tracked his microchip, which was still in his breeder's name, and via the breeder, she managed to get in contact with them.
"Tracking down the owner only to be told 'he left him there for a reason,'" she continues in the clip.

Thank you for sending me cooper dad😇 and to the man that dumped him… Cooper wants to let you know he's learning what love really is🩷 ♬ original sound - WBsongs
That is when she ultimately decided to take him home to her four dogs, one of which, Ollie, is dog reactive.
"I didn't have high hopes … But they became friends fairly quickly," the poster continues, adding that the pup had already been dumped three or four times before.
"We fell in love and we decided to keep him. From Copper to Cooper … New beginnings. The rest is history. You're at home with us Cooper … Forever and always."
In the comments section, the poster made it clear that, while she thinks the pup's previous owner is to blame for abandoning him, she also thinks the breeder should have done a better job vetting the home before selling him.
"Unfortunately there is nothing stopping the man getting another dog, tried to report and the police didn't care," she commented.
Many users in the comments said that Cooper and his new mom were meant to find each other, and the poster herself seems to think the same.
"Thank you for sending me cooper dad, and to the man that dumped him … Cooper wants to let you know he's learning what love really is," she said in the caption.
In the comments section, she wrote that not only did she find him in the same place she had a car accident two years prior, but she later discovered another detail that confirmed her heartwarming theory.
"We found each other when we both needed each other, my dad sadly passed … I really believe cooper was a gift from my dad, coopers birthday is the same date my dad passed," she said.
"I'll never understand how people can be so cruel, Cooper just wants to love everyone, it makes me so sad about what he could've been through … He will be well loved and looked after for the rest of his life," she added.

The video quickly went viral on social media and it has so far received over 94,700 views and more than 8,000 likes on the platform.
One user, Blairthomsonn, commented: "The fact he is still so happy and trusting after everyone is so amazing we really don't deserve dogs, thank you for saving him.
"People are just so so evil! I have had a Romanian rescue dog for 3 years and although he's happy he is so scarred from everything that happened to him before he got here. Breaks my heart every day."
Yecatsearpauli added: "He's such a beautiful boy- pure bred too- so many people should just not ever get to be responsible for these loyal animals- humans are sick."
Newsweek reached out to @sophiahutson for comment via Instagram messages. We could not verify the details of the case.

33 Beauty Products You'll Honestly Be Mad You Didn't Know About Before Now
Laneige's Neo Blurring Powder to absorb oil and blur pores so effectively that you'll be like, "Oh ... witchcraft??" Might be the only explanation for how this can matte-ify your complexion while still keeping it radiant and glowy ✨. Kuumba Made's $11 Vanilla Bean fragrance roll-on and Golden Sky roll-on — the first is a "true vanilla" that layers with other scents like a dream, whereas Golden Sky is a decadent blend of vanilla, rose, and amber that does all the layering for you. These are potent, super long-lasting, and oh-so-delicious ... hence why TikTok keeps selling them out. 😬 L'Oréal Paris BB Cream, a FAST-acting, anti-redness moisturizer with results that feel like legitimate magic — especially considering its competitor, the Dr Jart+ Cicapair Color Correcting Cream, is over twice as expensive. Reviewers especially love this as a base for their makeup, because it leaves skin super soft and primed. Olay Super Serum Body Wash that will make anyone with dry or dull skin REJOICE — this is packed with niacinamide, shea butter, and collagen peptides to nourish your skin for 24-hour hydration that will make you feel ~luminous~. (Psst — this is the body wash version of their TikTok-famous, super effective facial Super Serum, so you KNOW they mean business.) Catrice "Instant Awake" Under Eye Brightener, which became the internet's holy grail — now in four shades! — for concealing and brightening dark circles under your eyes so fast that everyone's old concealers are doing double takes. This lightweight color-adapting formula is designed for truly ~invisible~ coverage that makes a drastic difference. And a firming eye cream that uses vitamin C, vitamin E, rose hip seed oil, and hibiscus flower extract to brighten and firm that sensitive skin around your eyes and neck not just on a day-to-day basis, but a long-term one, too. Mixsoon's Bean Essence, a TikTok-beloved K-beauty staple for exfoliating and hydrating that anyone chasing the ~glass skin~ look will want to know about immediately. You can use this as a low-maintenance, high results exfoliant by massaging it into your skin two to three times a week for a smoother, brighter, more even complexion. A bottle of sulfate-free biotin shampoo that thousands of reviewers swear by for helping restore their hair and promote healthy hair growth over time. It also includes nourishing ingredients like rosemary oil, zinc, and coconut oil to help moisturize locks and give them a fuller, more volumized look. Clinique Almost Lipstick Tinted Lip Balm in *PINK* Honey — aka, the sweet, subtle sister of the iconic "Black Honey" that has been so popular over the past few decades that it just about broke TikTok when it finally had its moment over there. The skin tone-matching, pH-adaptive pink version is every bit as buildable, polished, and decadent feeling as the original black honey, and perfect for everyday makeup looks. E.l.f's Lash XTNDR Tubing Mascara, a GODSEND for anyone with thin or fragile lashes. This uses lightweight ~tubing~ technology to wrap around lashes and give them a natural-looking, smudge-proof extension so good it almost looks fake. The real boon, though, is how easily the "tubes" slide off in clean, easy swipes at the end of the day when you're washing your face — absolutely no smudging, over-scrubbing, or special eye makeup removal products required. And E.l.f.'s Pro Eyelash Curler, aka your secret lash weapon — mascaras are all well and good, but this contoured, gentle, super effective curler is what is gonna get you that BIG lash drama your eyeballs crave. Orrrr Arishine's Reusable Magnetic Eyeliner and Lashes Kit that lets you skip the hassle of cheap glue or expensive salon extensions — this comes with an eyeliner with ultra-fine magnetic particles that connect the lashes, making it so easy to use that it's converting regular fake lash wearers left and right. Reviewers love that these stay PUT and can be reused over and over with the proper care. MagicMinerals AirBrush Foundation, which lives up to its name and THEN some — one quick spray of the foundation on the included brush, and it glides so smoothly and subtly over your skin texture that you'll feel like a makeup artist did it for you. Reviewers in their thirties, forties, and up especially swear by this lightweight but effective formula, and love that it's ridiculously easy to use. A USB-rechargeable portable water flosser that gets the job done just as effectively without having to lug a planet-size device in your bag. A lot of reviewers love the small profile of this gizmo so much they use it as as every day one at home, too! Skala's Mais Cacho Hair 2-in-1 Conditioning Treatment, the holy grail of curly hair products — you can either use it as a conditioning treatment, or wear it all day in your curls both to style and condition for all-day hair repair. Reviewers swear by it for healthier, bouncier, more well-defined curls, and love how gently it helps detangle, too. Londontown "Nail Veil" Protectant, which is designed not only to protect your nails, but to act as a sheer tint to enhance their natural look. It's basically "no makeup makeup," but for your fingernails. A deliciously soothing, super gentle Briotech spray reviewers compare to the pricier Tower 28 SOS Spray. It's similarly designed with hypochlorous acid, which targets bacteria that causes acne, skin irritation, and blemishes *without* drying your skin. Reviewers swear by this handy little spray for helping not just with acne, but rosacea, eczema, dryness, dermatitis (scalp included!), and even toenail fungus. Medicube Deep Vitamin C Golden Capsule Face Moisturizer for a K-beauty staple that's almost a little *too* fun to use — it comes with liposome capsules you can pop on your skin, helping oxidize, brighten, and smooth your complexion with the added burst of concentrated vitamin C and niacinamide. This is designed to have both instant *and* lasting results, with many reviewers noting an immediate difference in skin's radiance after the first use! A Benzene-free, travel-friendly applicator of I Dew Care's dry shampoo powder so easy to use that you can just dab it on your hairline and rub it in for an instant, oil-absorbing refresh. Now your "no wash" days are a secret that you and your roots will never tell 👀. This includes a range of highly-pigmented, super blendable shades to help you contour, highlight, and bronze on days when your Gcal just say "GO GO GO" all the way down. (Psst — this is the same brand behind the TikTok-famous $6 Under Eye Brightener, so you know they mean business!) A beautifully packaged, travel-friendly Touchland Power Mist hydrating hand sanitizer for anyone who's like "mindfully practicing health and safety, but make it fashion." Unlike other sanitizer sprays, it's infused with aloe vera to keep your skin hydrated and has the most luxurious floral scents. Joesoef's pharmaceutical-grade anti-acne sulfur soap that people with acne, rosacea, dermatitis, and clogged pores swear by for helping clear their skin and relieve the tenderness. A lot of reviewers noted that they found this specific product after their dermatologists recommended it to them! A bottle of callus-removing gel so effective at sloughing off dead, hardened skin that one reviewer described it as, "Horrifically satisfying." It's also super easy — you presoak your feet, apply for five minutes, and rub a pumice stone or foot file on the calluses and corns to watch them effortlessly slide off. An "Exfoliate & Glow" scrub mitt for that oh-so-squeaky clean sensation that comes with sloughing off dead skin. No, for real — one reviewer saw all the dead skin left in their shower floor and dubbed themselves a "Lizard Person" after shedding it. This is great for helping even out skin texture and tone, preventing ingrown hairs, calming keratosis pilaris, and removing self-tanner, too! Plus a bar soap bag, which is the ultimate hack not just to exfoliate your skin with your favorite bar soaps, but to *really* get your money's worth out of them — these produce much richer lather so a little goes a loooong way, and you won't have to replace your bars as often. Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum for a deliiiightfully affordable way to address dark spots and sun damage without taking out a second mortgage. (Why is skincare so expensive??) You can apply a few drops of this serum to your skin before moisturizing at morning and night for noticeable results in as soon as a few weeks. A hair identifier spray to make shaving or dermaplaning *that* much more efficient — this not only highlights where your hair is so you don't miss a spot, but also moisturizes and protects skin while you're shaving. This is also a great way to ensure you aren't *over*-shaving areas, since you'll know right away if the hair is taken care of! The Ordinary's Multi-Depth Hydration Serum to achieve that "glassy," plumped effect *without* breaking the whole bank. This delightfully affordable, super effective serum helps hydrate and protect your skin barrier so you wake up with firm, refreshed skin.

Cruise passenger fumes after learning raunchy reason women were flirting with him
They thought he was doing a different kind of 'cruising.' A cruise passenger was steaming mad after he realized the shocking reason why strangers were paying so much attention to him on board, detailing the reveal in a TikTok video with over 19 million views In the viral clip, filmed from his female partner's point of view, content creator Ricky Bobby is seen lounging on the deck of a Carnival Cruise ship with his paramour as fellow passengers ogle, interact with and even touch him. 'They would whisper things under their breath,' she described in the caption. 'And even sometimes flirt with us.' At one point, a woman in a blue swimsuit even grabs him by the hand. Then, all of a sudden, it dawned on the couple why Bobby was so popular on board. 'We heard them say 'look at his pineapple shirt,'' exclaimed his partner as the camera pans to him donning a shirt that's emblazoned with the tropical fruit. While the symbol may seem innocuous or festive, it's also a sign that people are up for swinging, defined by engaging in group sex or swapping sexual partners. This pastime is particularly popular aboard cruise ships, where randy travelers have been known to pin pictures of upside-down pineapples to cabin doors to let fellow pleasure boaters know they're in the mood for a salacious switcheroo on the high seas. Bobby was reportedly 'p–sed' over his accidental SOS (sex on ship) signal, per the clip, which ends with the embarrassed content creator sitting on the deck chair without his pineapple-riddled attire. However, commenters found it hilarious that he inadvertently let his 'freaky' flag fly. 'Just looked up what upside down pineapple means. Howling,' said one bemused commenter, while another wrote, 'Blue swimsuit was trying to get chosen.' In fact, Bobby claimed that the latter woman even reached out to him on TikTok following the incident, writing, 'HEY GUYS!! BLUE SWIMSUIT GURL FOUND ME ON TIKTOK.' Others shared similar moments of sending mixed signals via pineapple-themed couture. 'I made the same mistake, I got called out by the comedian on the cruise ship during his show,' said one embarrassed commenter. 'The rest of the cruise I was called Mr. pineapple shirt. I had no idea…most def threw it in the trash.' 'Me and my ex didn't know and had matching pineapple shirts on a cruise — we were like people are so nice and keep talking to us.'

'Can't Unsee It:' Why Are Drivers Flipping Their Ford Logos Around?
A Ford owner is going viral on TikTok after showing how the logo, flipped around, reads, 'Brat.' Why is this the latest online phenomenon? TikTok user Hailey LaRae (@haileylarae) posted a video of the tailgate of her Ford truck on Tuesday. The video shows her tailgate with the reversed logo to the tune of Charlie XCX's '365.' "To whoever said if you flip Ford's logo around it says brat, thank you. I cannot unsee it," the on-screen text reads. Why Does It Matter? In the caption, LaRae adds the following hashtags: "#ford #bratsummer #brat." This is clearly a reference to the 'Brat Summer' sparked by U.K. pop star Charlie XCX's 'Brat' album in 2024. The album's vibrant green cover art, accompanied by its unvarnished take on the concerns of the modern party girl, made it one of the biggest records (and memes) of the year. Commenters Were All In on the 'Bratmobile' In the comments, Ford UK weighed in, 'Bratmobile owners assemble.' "I like that the T is uppercase so it accentuates it," observed another user. In the true spirit of Brat, some users took the opportunity to settle personal scores with Ford and beyond. "Ford is very brat (derogatory)," wrote one user. "Ah, this explains why my ex drove a Ford," joked a second. TikTokers Aren't the Only Netizens Who Noticed The r/CharlieXCX community on Reddit addressed this a few weeks ago in a thread tagged 'Braturday.' "F150, when you're in the mirror you're just looking at me," wrote one user, invoking the lyrics of "360." A second user referenced an older Charli XCX material. 'VROOM VROOM,' they wrote. "I drive a Ford F150 and love Brat. And Charli. Uhmmm, I'm putting this on a Brat green tank top," wrote a third user. Someone else said, 'Alert the press.' Duly noted. A Little Look at the History of These Iconic Symbols The Ford logo of today debuted in 2003 and has since become one of the most recognizable symbols in the auto industry. It is based in part on Henry Ford's actual signature. Charli XCX explained in an Apple Music interview that she chose the minimalist cover color scheme as a budget-saving measure. It was also a way to reinforce a central tenet of the Brat ethos: to resist societal expectations. Motor1 reached out to LaRae via TikTok and to Ford via email for comment.
