Throughout her career, Lady Gaga has enjoyed incredible success at radio in the U.S. She has produced more airplay favorites than many other pop stars could dream of, and well over a decade into her time in the spotlight, she's performing better than ever with one of her most recent deliveries.
"Die With a Smile," Gaga's collaboration with Bruno Mars, has turned out to be not just a hit, but a career-defining success for both stars. Months after the tune dropped, it remains a huge commercial win — especially in terms of radio play. As it holds on, the cut becomes a standout smash for Gaga.
"Die With a Smile" has now lived on Billboard's Radio Songs chart for 38 weeks. The tally ranks the tunes that collect the largest total number of audience impressions across the U.S. each frame. The song's widespread appeal has led to constant rotation — not just on pop stations, but across multiple formats.
This time around, it drops from No. 2 to No. 3 on the Radio Songs tally. That's a very lofty position for any track that has spent that much time on what is often considered one of Billboard's most competitive rankings.
As "Die With a Smile" holds on, it breaks out of a three-way tie and officially becomes Gaga's longest-charting success on the Radio Songs list. Last frame, it was matched with "Shallow," her collaboration with Bradley Cooper, and her breakout tune "Just Dance," which also credits Colby O'Donis. Those two cuts spent 37 frames somewhere on the roster before disappearing, and are now matched as her second-longest-running successes.
"Die With a Smile" still has a long way to go before becoming the longest-charting tune in Mars's discography. As it hits 38 weeks on the list, it stands as his sixth-longest-running win on the Radio Songs roster. One more frame, and it will match "Leave the Door Open," which Mars released alongside Anderson .Paak as one-half of Silk Sonic. "Uptown Funk" with Mark Ronson remains the tune by Mars with the most frames spent on the Radio Songs chart, with 54 stays on the tally.

Lady Gaga Performs to Record-Breaking Crowd at Rio's Copacabana Beach

Lady Gaga performed to a record-breaking crowd Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, as an estimated 2.5 million people attended the singer's free concert on Copacabana Beach. The gig in Brazil marked the highest attended concert by a female artist in history, according to the singer's reps, eclipsing the 1.6 million people Madonna drew to the same venue last year. The record holder for largest concert crowd in history — according to Guinness World Records — remains Rod Stewart, who attracted a crowd of over 4 million to Copacabana Beach on New Year's Eve in 1994. The Copacabana Beach concert marked Lady Gaga's first concert in Brazil since 2012. 'I've missed you so much,' she told an enormous crowd that gathered the previous night just to watch her soundcheck. 'I know that this is not the first show here. I know this is just a rehearsal; it feels like it's the real show.' The concert itself found Gaga replicating the five-act 'gothic opera' that she performed during her headlining sets at Coachella and other Mayhem Ball stops thus far. She'll next travel to Singapore for four shows in that country later this month before the North American arena leg of the Mayhem Ball tour begins in July. Rio de Janeiro's tourism department previously announced plans to continue staging free Copacabana Beach concerts until at least 2028. Lady Gaga Channels Wednesday Addams' Gothic Glam in New ‘Abracadabra' Performance

Lady Gaga delivered a blast of glammed-up gothic horror with her performance of 'Abracadabra' at Netflix's Tudum live event this past weekend in Los Angeles. Gaga took the stage for an eight-minute performance, and right after, Netflix shared the first six minutes of the long-awaited new season of Wednesday. To match the Addams Family mood, Gaga performed a special three-song set of horror-tinged tunes starting with Mayhem's 'Zombieboy' before going into her Born This Way favorite, 'Bloody Mary.' The performance ends with Gaga returning to a coffin alongside the beloved disembodied hand, Thing, as the Addams Family theme plays. Along with her performance, Gaga was able to finally share some new details about her cameo role in Season Two of Wednesday. She's set to play Rosaline Rotwood, described as a 'legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday' at some point during the second half of the season. Wednesday Season Two is set to premiere on Sept. 3. Gaga released her most recent album, Mayhem, back in March, marking her first proper album of all new material since 2020's Chromatica. (Though in between, she released several projects, including a second collaboration with Tony Bennett and a companion album for Joker: Folie à Deux.) Gaga has since taken the album on the road, headlining Coachella, playing shows in Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, and Singapore, and prepping for the North American leg of her tour, which kicks off July 16 in Las Vegas. Kendrick Lamar Beats His Own Historic Record

Kendrick Lamar and SZA's 'Luther' breaks an all-time Billboard record with 23 weeks at No. 1 on the ... More Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Kendrick Lamar at Life Is Beautiful 2023 on September 23, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Christopher Polk/Billboard via Getty Images) Earlier this year, Kendrick Lamar broke the all-time record for the most weeks spent at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The rapper had long stood out as one of the most inventive and commercially successful names in the genre, but he reached new heights with "Not Like Us." The track, which officially ended his feud with Drake — at least in terms of the two musicians releasing songs aimed at one another — has propelled Lamar into even more elite territory. Just months after he made Billboard history with what may be regarded as his most popular cut ever, Lamar has bested his own record, proving himself to truly be in a league all his own. "Luther" leads the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs ranking again this frame. The tune has dominated the tally — which highlights the most consumed tracks in the hip-hop, R&B, and rap styles — for 23 of the 27 weeks it has appeared on the roster. That figure now stands as the most weeks any track has lived at No. 1. Last week, "Luther" tied "Not Like Us" as the longest-reigning champion in the history of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs tally. "Not Like Us" has now been pushed to second place on this historic ranking. That tune only reset this best showing earlier in 2025, though it first reached the summit in 2024. Lamar now claims the two longest-running leaders ever on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, but he's not alone in this latest feat. "Luther" features SZA, who for a while owned this record solo as well. Her smash "Kill Bill" reigned for 21 weeks at No. 1 between 2022 and 2023, and for a time, that stood as the most impressive run in the ranking's history. Thanks to "Luther," SZA is now responsible for two of the three longest-running smashes on the chart. "Luther" recently fell from the top spot on the Hot 100, where it reigned for months, but it's still living inside the top five. The collaboration is also in charge of half a dozen tallies in the U.S., and it remains inside the top 10 on at least 16 rankings. It seems likely to hold on for quite some time, as the cut is still performing exceptionally well on streaming sites and via radio.
