Facebook user to be charged over threat against DBKL officer
City police chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said the charge would be framed under Section 506 and Section 505(b) of the Penal Code.
"The case involves a threat made by a Facebook account holder against an enforcement officer. One individual will be brought to court tomorrow," he said after the Safe City programme at the Seri Desa Rejang People's Housing Project today.
The case is linked to a viral incident involving a balloon trader who claimed he was manhandled by City Hall enforcement officers during an operation in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman earlier this year.
