Kashish Kapoor has been updating her fans regarding her theft case. The Bigg Boss 18 contestant took to her YouTube channel to share further details on the case and expressed gratitude to Tajinder Bagga for helping her with the legal formalities.
In a recent interview, Kashish revealed that her house help, Sachin Kumar Chaudhary, was the prime suspect in the case. The incident reportedly took place at her residence in Andheri West, Mumbai, and an FIR was lodged at the Amboli police station on July 9, 2025.
She claimed that the man allegedly stole a substantial amount of money from her home, and despite filing a complaint, the chances of recovering the stolen amount seem bleak.
She later opened up about the emotional and logistical challenges that followed. Reflecting on the aftermath, she said, 'There was no assurance. That is the most helpless feeling — to know he robbed you and may get away with it.' Despite having receipts and being initially suspicious, she had delayed involving authorities to avoid alarming her family but eventually felt betrayed, calling the situation crushing.

Govt under pressure to disown my film: Maker of ‘Khalid ka Shivaji'

Mumbai: A day after the Information and Broadcasting ministry suspended the Censor certificate granted to Marathi film 'Khalid Ka Shivaji' and stopped its release for a month, its director Raj Pritam More told TOI he was "saddened and disappointed" that the govt was "disowning" a film it had submitted to the Cannes Film Festival this year. "My film was sent to Cannes after the expert committee gave positive feedback. Now govt has succumbed to the pressure and unjust demand from some groups who are objecting to it only on the basis of its trailer. I am deeply saddened and disappointed," said More. Right wing groups have objected to Maratha warrior-king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj 's "secular" portrayal in 'Khalid Ka Shivaji" which, they alleged, distorts Shivaji's legacy through wrong depiction and factual inaccuracy. "This is an honestly made film which presents Shivaji in a positive light. I am not a historian, but I think some people cannot digest that the film questions if every Muslim should be seen as Afzal Khan," said actor-director Makrand Deshpande who attended the premier recently. The movie, said More, looks at the experiences of a class 5 student, who is bullied by classmates who call him Afzal Khan, a general of the Adil Shahi dynasty whom Shivaji killed in combat. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Resmed AirSense 11 with flat 20% off ResMed Buy Now Undo Through the experiences of a Muslim fifth grader called Khalid, the director said, he wanted to convey that Shivaji's policies were inclusive and he did not discriminate against any community. "In a scene, a teacher says there were many Muslims in Shivaji's army. Who can deny that?" asked More. Cultural Affairs minister Ashish Shelar said on Thursday that an inquiry had been set up to probe how 'Khalid Ka Shivaji' got selected for the Cannes festival. While announcing four works, including 'Khalid…', to be screened at Cannes in May, Shelar had said that the film "highlights the thoughts of young minds and their quest for identity in today's society." However, on Friday, he denied he had seen or praised the film. "I only announced the four films the experts had selected," he told TOI. Explaining why the state had demanded suspension of the certificate issued by the Central Board of Film Certification, he said: "Many dialogues in the film have drawn sharp objections from Shivaji Maharaj's devotees and historians. Acting on these concerns, I directed the secretary of cultural affairs to investigate how this film was granted certification by CBFC, whether the examining committee carried out a proper review and whether there was any deliberate mischief involved. After 8 yrs in jail, ex-MLA gets bail from SC

1 2 Dhanbad: Sanjiv Singh, the former BJP MLA from Jharia, was granted bail by the Supreme Court on Friday. Sanjiv has been in jail since 2017 on charges of conspiring to kill his cousin and former Dhanbad deputy mayor, Niraj Singh, and four others. Sanjiv won from the Jharia seat in 2014 assembly election. His wife Ragini is the incumbent Jharia MLA and won on a BJP ticket. Sanjiv's counsel Mohammad Jawed said, "A three-judge bench of the Apex Court comprising Chief Justice B R Gavai, Justice Vinod Chandran, and Justice N B Anjaria granted him bail in the case after hearing the matter." "Several other accused in the case, including Rinku Singh and Dablu Mishra, have already been granted bail by the High Court, while Pintu Singh, Sanjay Singh, Dhanji Singh, Chandan Singh, and Kurban Ali were granted bail earlier by the SC. The bench was also apprised of Sanjiv's ill health and the need for medical treatment. Considering these factors, the court allowed his bail plea," Jawed said. Sanjiv was arrested in July 2017 and has remained in custody since then. On March 22 the same year, Niraj, the deputy mayor and Congress leader, was gunned down by four assailants using A K- 47 assault rifles near Steel Gate under Saraidhela police station limits. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The 5 Books Warren Buffett Recommends You To Read in 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo His associate Ashok Yadav, driver Chandra Prakash, and bodyguard Munna Tiwari were also killed. Reacting to Sanjiv's bail, his wife Ragini said, "It was my belief that Sanjiv would get bail from the apex court as he was innocent. I had faith in the court and in the blessings of the people of Jharkhand." Former MLA and Sanjiv's mother, Kunti Singh, also welcomed the verdict, saying, "Justice delayed but not denied. I had faith in God. My son was implicated in false charges." With this order, Sanjiv joins the list of other accused who have been granted relief in the high-profile case that has been a focal point of political and legal attention in Dhanbad for years. His release is expected to generate significant political discussion in the region, given his family's strong influence in Jharia's political landscape.
