Celebrity Big Brother line-up ‘confirmed' – from EastEnders icon to Corrie star
After weeks of speculation and rumours, it appears the official line-up for Celebrity Big Brother 2025 has been revealed, according to reports.
A Coronation Street legend, EastEnders icon and RuPaul's Drag Race winner are among the celebrities set to enter one of the nation's most famous houses over the next few weeks.
It comes as The Sun has 'confirmed' all the housemates who will be hoping to be crowned the winner of the second Celebrity Big Brother series, following its return to ITV in 2024.
Viewers can expect tense tasks, nail-biting nominations and gripping gossip as an array of VIPS spill the tea on their life in the spotlight, ITV recently explained.

The full list of the celebrities reported to be entering the Big Brother house next week, according to The Sun, is:
Trisha Goddard – talk show presenter
Mickey Rourke - American actor and former professional boxer
Donna Preston – actress and comedian
JoJo Siwa - Dance Moms star, singer and TikTok influencer
Chris Hughes – 2017 Love Island contestant
Jack P. Shepherd – Coronation Street actor (David Platt)
Patsy Palmer – EastEnders icon (Bianca Jackson)
Daley Thompson - Olympic decathlete
Chesney Hawkes – singer known for his smash hit 'The One and Only' and occasional actor
Ella Rae Wise - The Only Way Is Essex star

Michael Fabricant - former Conservative politician
Danny Beard - RuPaul's Drag Race 2022 winner
Celebrity Big Brother will launch on ITV1 and ITVX on Monday, April 7 from 9pm until 10.30pm, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best.
This will be followed by Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live from 10.30pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
ITV has announced that David Potts (2024 Celebrity Big Brother winner), Tiffany Pollard and Oti Mabuse will each take turns in taking on the role of the Celebrity House Guest.

'King of Drag's Dr. Wang Newton says the kings' moment is now: 'we're no longer chasing approval'
While Dr. Wang Newton is already one of the most successful and well known drag kings in the biz, he's about to strut his stuff for a brand new audience on a new, massive stage as one of the permanent judges on the upcoming — and highly anticipated — competition series King of Drag. It's a moment that's been a long time coming for the drag community and one that has Wang asking the same question we are: 'Why did it take this long for kings to take center stage?' he poses to PRIDE. 'After 16 years of RuPaul's Drag Race, 20+ global spinoffs, and nine years of Dragula, the real question is: why not yesterday?' It's a hypothetical question but one that's worthy of being answered — even if doing so requires taking a hard look at the queer community and who we choose to uplift. Thankfully, King of Drag looks to be equal parts entertaining and restorative representation. When Wang says it's been a long time coming, he means a long time. 'I joke that kings go way back — from the Tang Dynasty to the Wang Dynasty — because theatrical male impersonation has existed for over 1,300 years. We've always been here. Literally, facts.' While the inequity between representation of kings and queens is unquestionable, Wang sees this moment as a change for the kings to be seen on their own terms. 'No 'pick me,' no victim energy — we're no longer chasing approval from spaces that were never interested in including us,' he says. 'The truth is, [The Boulet Brother's] Dragula led the way with real inclusivity, and now King of Drag follows suit. And man oh man, do we have some snazzy suits!' TeAra DeBerry In the same way that queens generally explore heightened versions of femininity, kings play with the ideas and tropes of masculinity. Politically and culturally, this has the potential to become a hot-button topic, particularly in a time when discussions around masculinity have become so fraught, specifically in right-wing spaces that also tend to look for excuses to turn drag into a wedge issue. Wang, however, hopes audiences see kinging generally and King of Drag specifically as an exploration of masculinity that makes much more space for its expression and celebration. 'Masculinity isn't a monolith — it's a mood board,' he explains. 'Drag kings came with the remix and the beat drop. If traditional masculinity boxed us in, an all-king show is the jailbreak. Flipping the script to liberated masculinity is kinda hot.' Wang has high hopes for the series, and the impact it will have on kings moving forward. 'I hope it cuts the velvet rope and leaves the door swinging open,' he says. 'After 20 years in the game, I want to see something new. No more comparing apples to oranges with drag queens. I want a surge of facial hair absurdity, feral kings, and quiet masterful kings emerging from the woodwork.' We couldn't agree more. But that's not all: like his fellow King of Drag judge Tenderoni, Wang wants to see a positive economic impact for kings as well. 'Just for fun, maybe some actual social impact — like closing the gender wage gap, while performing gender with our gap,' he says with a wink. JoJo Siwa's ex Kath Ebbs asks for space to 'heal in peace'
JoJo Siwa's ex Kath Ebbs wants to "heal in peace". Kath - who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns - has responded to people "constantly" trolling them over their ex's newly confirmed romance with Chris Hughes, who she met during her time in the 'Celebrity Big Brother UK' house. In a series of posts on her Instagram Story, she wrote: "Last month was mental health month and this month is pride... "I wish people would put themselves in someone else's shoes for a moment before indulging in this kind of online toxicity. "Better yet to a person that literally did nothing wrong. I'm so sick of being gaslight over and over again by said people and the public. It needs to stop. "You don't need to choose sides, instead you could do me the courtesy of letting me in heal in peace." Kath, 27, urged their critics to "be obsessed with those that are screaming for attention", while pointing out they have "never asked for any of this". They wrote: "People constantly troll me and telling me to 'get over it' whilst simultaneously not getting over it themselves. "Go be obsessed with those that are screaming for the attention, they love it and they are build for it. "I'm not and never asked for any of this. My only crime was being in a committed loving relationship and then humiliated on a world stage. How does that make me a horrible person?" Kath said they are trying to "weather the storm", while insisting they don't owe anyone an explanation from their point of view. They continued: 'I've been working so hard to hold my own everyday through this. "Using the tools I have to weather the storm, stay sane and sit knowing I don't need to share the truth of it with the world because those that actually matter in REAL life know exactly what happened and that should be all that matters to me." The Ritz Bar and Lounge reopened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 17th. Among the attendees were New York drag icon and LGBTQ+ rights activist Brita Filter, Councilman Erik Bottcher, and State Assemblyman Tony Simone, alongside The Ritz's new queer owners Anton Harr, Lance Hodge, and Eric Hanninen. "It's very exciting to be able to renovate a place that is safe for people," Hanninen said, "A place that is a community that can grow together, and meet new people again." RuPaul's Drag Race alum Brita Filter was ecstatic for The Ritz's grand reopening. In this space, she first learned about drag, queer culture, and history. "I was in my early 20s, and I didn't know anything about queer nightlife," she reflects, explaining the importance of queer spaces now more than ever. "It can be that place for so many other people right now…With [The Ritz] being reopened and reowned by the people within our community, it's such a beautiful thing."
