Panchayat's Sachiv Ji Or Kota Factory's Jeetu Bhaiya? Jitendra Kumar Says 'My favourite…'
Jitendra Kumar shared which of his characters, Kota Factory's Jeetu Bhaiya or Panchayat's Sachiv ji, fans connect with more today.
Jitendra Kumar has become a rare face in Indian streaming who can claim two cult roles that fans refuse to let go of – Jeetu Bhaiya from Kota Factory and Sachiv ji from Panchayat. And while both characters are much loved by the fans and the meme world, one clearly leads the popularity race.
In a recent chat with IANS, the actor was asked which name fans call out to him more often in public. 'I think Jeetu Bhaiya is a bit more popular, but people often end up mixing the two worlds," Jitendra said.
The Panchayat actor shared a funny example of how fans tend to mash the two characters together in conversation. 'If someone wants to tell me something, they call me Jeetu Bhaiya, but in the same breath, they say, 'will Jeetu Bhaiya be able to move on from Rinki or not?' So, they end up mixing both worlds. I think they have a hangover of both the shows, but 'Jeetu Bhaiya' comes more easily to them compared to Sachiv ji," he added.
As for his personal pick between the two roles, Jitendra found it tough to choose. 'It is very difficult to choose as both these characters are very different from one another, but given that Panchayat season 4 has just released, it is my favourite at the moment."
As Jeetu Bhaiya in Kota Factory, Jitendra Kumar plays a calm, mentor-like teacher who has become a cultural icon among students and aspirants. He plays a compassionate physics teacher who becomes a mentor figure to IIT aspirants — firm, empathetic and deeply relatable, especially to students facing academic pressure. In Panchayat, he shines as Abhishek Tripathi or Sachiv Ji, the sincere village secretary, where his understated performance and slow-burn chemistry with Sanvikaa (who plays Rinki) have struck a chord with audiences. Their on-screen bond, subtle yet engaging, adds charm to the show's emotional core.
During an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, host Kapil Sharma couldn't resist teasing Jitendra about his popularity among female fans, asking if girls now call him 'Jeetu Bhaiya' when asking for selfies. To that, Jitendra joked, 'Main mana kar deta hoon. Bhaiya bologe toh selfie nahi milegi (I say no. If you call me brother, you won't get a selfie)."
Meanwhile, Panchayat Season 4 has turned out to be a big hit on OTT and Panchayat Season 5 is already in the works.

Rajinikanth is working on something big about his life, reveals Lokesh Kanakaraj: 'In last two schedules of Coolie, he is...'
Director Lokesh Kanakaraj, whose much-awaited action entertainer ' Coolie ' features Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead, has now disclosed in an interview that Rajinikanth is in the process of writing his autobiography and that he had been writing every day during the last two schedules of ' Coolie '. What is the big thing Rajinikanth is planning? In a video interview with a media publication, the ace director said, '.. in the last two schedules, sir was busy with writing his autobiography. He used to write every day.' The director then went on to say, 'Every day, I would ask him,'What episode are you in?' 'What phase are you in?'. He (Rajinikanth) would then let me know that this is what happened in his 42nd year and that this is what happened at a later stage.' Rajinikanth shared this with Lokesh Kanakaraj Stating that the superstar shared with him details that he didn't share with anyone else, Lokesh said that the experience was one that would always remain close to his heart. 'So, it is like very close to my heart. What you take away is that experience that man has seen. One common factor that connects not just me but everybody else in our state to him is all the hurdles that he has overcome,' Lokesh said. Meanwhile, Coolie has already made headlines by becoming the highest overseas procurement for a Tamil film to date. Rumours doing the rounds in the industry also suggest that director Lokesh Kanakaraj's much awaited action entertainer may well reach audiences in over a 100 countries around the world when the film hits screens on August 14 this year. Hamsini Entertainment, a key player in international film distribution, is backing the film's global distribution. Sources in the industry claim that with 'Coolie', Hamsini Entertainment is gearing up for their biggest release yet, targeting distribution in over a 100 countries, making it one of the most widespread international releases for an Indian film. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars stalwarts from the Indian film industry like Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Aamir Khan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir and Shruti Haasan. Anirudh has composed the music for the film, marking his fourth consecutive film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Cinematography for the film is by Girish Gangadharan and editing is by Philomin Raj. The film is keenly awaited as it will feature actors Sathyaraj and Rajinikanth together after almost 38 years. The two were last seen together in the superhit Tamil film 'Mr Bharath', which was released in 1986 and in which Sathyaraj played Rajinikanth's father. Interestingly, Sathyaraj had turned down offers to act in some of Rajinikanth's earlier films like 'Enthiran' and 'Sivaji'. 'Coolie', which is Rajinikanth's 171st film, will revolve around gold smuggling. Interestingly, director Lokesh Kanakaraj has disclosed that 'Coolie' will be a stand alone film and not a part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe

Inside Ravindra Jadeja's Rs 10 crore bungalow in Gujarat: Belongs to a Rajput family, features in-house gym and sprawling farmhouse
Ravindra Jadeja doesn't just smash records on the cricket field: he also lives like a king when he's off it. The Indian all-rounder's massive four-story bungalow in Jamnagar, Gujarat, feels more like a modern palace than an athlete's home. Packed with vintage decor, palace-style doors, and lush green courtyards and grounds, it is no surprise that fans are constantly asking for a peek inside. As per reports, the home is worth around Rs 10 crore and truly combines traditional design with over-the-top luxury. It's everything you would expect from someone with royal roots. Palace doors, plush sofas and false ceilings Starting with the entrance, Jadeja's Jamnagar house greets visitors with a carved wooden door so massive, it looks like it belongs in a historical fortress. Once inside, it only gets fancier. The living spaces feature bold statement chairs, gold-striped decor, and exquisite faux ceilings on nearly every ceiling. Even the staircase has a royal vibe: all wood balusters and polished banisters, straight out of an old-school drama. The bungalow's interiors come with large windows, hardwood floors, and soft corners where the cricketers can sit back and relax. Despite the old-school feel, the house comes with certain modern protections, such as cameras and digital locks. The colour scheme captures a mix of creams, browns, and off-whites with occasional gold pops. It's classic, but with just enough flash to remind you whose house you're in. Where Jadeja works out, unwinds, and keeps his swords Alongside cricket bats and vintage showpieces, Jadeja's house also features weaponry—a nod to his sword-fighting hobby and royal lineage. The massive bungalow also features an in-house gym that helps keeps the royal in tip-top shape. The garden outside sometimes doubles as a workout or hangout space, and the surrounding greenery makes it feel like a private retreat. He even has a separate farmhouse nearby, where he keeps four horses and a pool stamped with his initials. Clearly, the Jadeja house is flashy, personal, and over-the-top in all the best ways.
