Beyond The Gates Recap: Dani Gives Nicole a Crash Course in Break The China Therapy
Beyond The Gates Recap: Dani Gives Nicole a Crash Course in Break The China Therapy originally appeared on Daytime Confidential.
On today's Beyond The Gates recap:
Garland Memorial Hospital: Bill brags to Hayley about his progress but she thinks he still needs PT. Just then, Shanice enters all ready to go. Hayley and Shanice give him the business before Shanice wants to start with his arms. She tells him to crumple paper into a ball. He successfully completes the task with his left hand but is unable to do so with his right. Just then, Dr Montgomery arrives to check in.
Hayley explains Bill is a charmer at home 99% of the time but that other 1% he can be an ass. She and Shanice giggle (I like seeing Hayley have someone with whom she gets along) while Bill grouses. Dr Montgomery tells Bill the only way he's getting out of the hospital is by proving himself in PT.
Anita and Vernon's Mansion: Vernon gets a call from Anita about her trip to Chicago. She talks about how meeting the other women helped her get out of the projects. He thinks it was inevitable just like the two of them. Vernon promises to keep the home fires burning.
Nicole and Ted's Home: Nicole asks Laura how she's settling in. Laura is frustrated but Nicole tells her to be patient and says how proud she is of her for recovering so quickly. Laura asks if it would be ok if she asks Eva to come over and walk her through her new system. Nicole agrees as long as Eva is willing.
Nicole admits to missing a version of Eva and even thought she was telling the truth the day before. That being said, she can't forget all that Eva did to blow up her family. Laura tries to be supportive, but Nicole goes on to note how Ted also lied to her and is even more responsible for blowing up their lives. She apologizes to Laura for dumping on her, but she is happy things are getting back to normal.
Eva arrives and learns from Laura that Nicole signed off on her visit. Laura compliments Eva's work system but needs some help. Eva realizes Laura doesn't really need help and she admits she thinks Nicole really misses her. Eva thinks Laura is appeasing her, but she says it's how she feels.
Eva says she doesn't deserve a relationship with Nicole, but Laura thinks that should be her decision to make. Eva can't imagine how they would move past the hurt and embarrassment. Laura can't know how things will shake out, but she wants Eva to be prepared either way.
Leslie's Apartment: Leslie is excitedly watching her story when Jacob arrives with yet another search warrant. She asks what Kat had to do with the new search. Jacob tells her to send questions to her lawyer. She gets snarky in an attempt to distract Jacob and talks about her story, 'Before Always.' She says she is enjoying Millie who used to be the villain but is now the heroine. Leslie wishes real life could work that way (such good writing). Suddenly, Jacob finds the motorcycle helmet and gloves that Kat planted. Leslie thinks it's awfully convenient he found nothing the first time and now found evidence in the open in her living room. She suggests the evidence has been tampered with before Jacob and his partner exit. As they walk away, Leslie says, 'spoiler alert: In the end, I win.'
Orphey Gene's: Kat is ribbing Chelsea about her live stream with Dr Montgomery. Chelsea is reluctant to discuss which makes Kat wonder why she's being so coy. They chat a bit about her not having told Bill she's into women, but Chelsea says now is not the time.
Chelsea says they need a bigger work and living space and suggests they use Dani's guesthouse. Kat reminds her that she is volunteering to live mere feet away from her mother. Just then, Jacob arrives to speak with Kat and Chelsea makes her exit.
Jacob tells Kat about the search warrant and how he found the helmet and gloves. Kat is thrilled but Jacob thinks it's very strange the evidence suddenly appeared. He thinks Kat had a hand in planting the evidence just in time for his search.
Kat denies any wrongdoing and Jacob says he moved forward with analyzing the evidence. He thinks they could soon have enough to demand a DNA sample. Just then, Jacob gets a call and learns they have visual confirmation of a match with the video. Kat notes they are another step closer to putting that bitch away. Just then, Jacob gets a call with what is clearly not great news.
Anita and Vernon's Mansion: Nicole and Dani arrive, and their father tells them about The Articulettes' reunion. Vernon says they are in Chicago, and their mother will be home in a few weeks. Dani is excited but Nicole looks distraught. She breaks down saying she needs her mother right now.
Nicole apologizes for her outburst and Vernon realizes she came over to seek her mother's counsel. He notes how much Anita needs this time to reunite with her old bandmates and she's just a call away. Dani thinks it's great her mother is getting to scratch her FOMO itch. Also, in a pinch, Nicole has her. She knows what it's like to be betrayed by the man she loves. Nicole hates they are in the same club, but Dani wants to teach her the secret handshake. With that, Dani ushers her sister out.
Garland Memorial Hospital – Bill's Room: Dr Madison asks about Bill's daughters and notes the influencer and the lawyer's different life paths. Bill realizes Dr Montgomery is asking her questions to test his cognitive abilities. She doesn't disagree but also likes to get to know her patients. She goes on and asks what it's like to have a daughter with over a million followers which reminds Hayley the good doctor was on young Chelsea's feed the day before.
Nicole and Ted's Home: Laura thanks Eva for helping her learn the new system. Eva is grateful for an opportunity to be helpful – in the midst of this back and forth she declines a call from her mother. She only wishes she could take back everything from the past few months. Laura notes her improved relationship with Ted and thinks she and Nicole will eventually come back together. Just then, Eva gets another call from her mother and walks into the other room. Leslie says they have come to the end of the world as they know it.
Dani's Place: Dani hands Nicole a cup and tells her to throw it against the wall. She's reluctant so Dani goes first. She says nothing broken in her sister's life is under her control. Nicole takes the cup and breaks it into a million pieces. With that, Dani hand her another and she breaks it.
Dani directs Nicole to put a name on the next cup before she breaks it. She leads by example by yelling at her Bill cup before sending it into the wall. Nicole follows by going off on her Ted cup before sending it to crash and burn.
Leslie's Apartment: Leslie pulls Eva in and asks if her daughter wants her dead or in prison for the rest of her life. Eva has no clue what's happening as her mother continues. She tells Eva all about the second search warrant and Jacob finding the helmet and gloves. She wants to know how the hell they ended up back in her apartment.
Leslie is crushed to think her daughter wanted her to get caught. She breaks down a bit as she says aloud Eva doesn't love her anymore.
Garland Memorial Hospital – Lobby: Chelsea arrives and asks Shanice about her dad. She says he is a grouch when Madison arrives. She says Bill is vocal and strong-willed but says he is quickly improving. Chelsea says she and her father weren't in the best place but feels hopeful they will be able to get their relationship back.
Previous Beyond The Gates Recap:
Endings
Madison tells Chelsea that Bill is lucky to have gotten to the hospital so quickly. Chelsea swears her to secrecy but secretly thanks Hayley for acting so quickly. She gets a little flirty about seeing Madison during her father's follow ups. Madison suggests they grab dinner sometime.
Jacob tells Kat the judge is unwilling to grant an order to collect DNA because they suddenly found evidence during the second search which was not revealed in the first. Without the DNA, they are dead in the water.
Eva says she will always love her mother. However, there never should have been a helmet and gloves to hide as she should never have run Laura off the road. Eva admits she hid the evidence in her hotel room and has no idea how it got back here. She has to know she would never intentionally do anything to hurt her. Leslie nods in agreement but says this is not how her second chance was supposed to work out. She begins to cry, and Eva promises to try and figure out what happened. Leslie promises to get some rest. The two exchange I love yous and a hug before Eva exits. After she leaves, Leslie laughs and says she is here to stay.

General Hospital Recap: Lucky and Aiden Say Goodbye to Port Charles
General Hospital Recap: Lucky and Aiden Say Goodbye to Port Charles originally appeared on Daytime Confidential. On today's General Hospital recap: Lucky apologizes to Laura, saying this isn't where he belongs right now. She asks if leaving is what's best for him and he says it is. Lucky says he felt guilty when he first came back but Laura says it feels like this is the best move for him. He also tells Laura about Liz turning down the proposal. Lucky says they love each other but want different things out of life. Laura says she's grateful he came home and reconnected. She asks him to keep in touch with her once in a while and he promises. The two tearfully share a hug and she gives him her blessing to go. Martin tells Liz he's looking for clients, but she doesn't have any patients who need his help. Tracy happens by and questions his return and gloats at how he was treated. Martin tells her to be nicer to him because she might need his services and brings up the Ketamine charges against her, but Tracy says she isn't stupid enough to leave the evidence in her car. Martin says he could help her but it would cost her. Kai tells Trina what he overheard Curtis and Portia discussing. Trina is confused and Kai says he thinks Curtis wants to pay Jacinda to lie about what happened. Trina says Drew screwed over Curtis and messed up Michael's marriage and could be lying about this too. Trina says she's certain there is an explanation and doesn't believe Portia and Jacinda know each other. Kai says she should speak to her parents but Trina says even if it were true, they wouldn't bring her into it. She trusts her parents and doesn't trust Drew and asks him to let it go. Isaiah says he knows Portia has been lying to Curtis and overheard her yelling. He says if she needs to vent, he's available. Isaiah wonders if she should take a step back since she seems so stressed. Portia says she's fine and her marriage is not his business. Isaiah tells Liz about the cabin that Lucky gave him, which surprises her. He asks why she turned Lucky's proposal down, but she says it wouldn't have worked in the long run and their hearts would have been broken again. Isaiah asks whether she's told Lucky everything there is to say before he leaves. Curtis wants to hire Felicia to find Jacinda. Felicia figures she was paid to leave town which will make it hard to find her. She says she wants Curtis to agree to honor Jacinda's wishes if she chooses to stay away. Curtis says he just wants to talk to her and will respect any decision she makes. Jordan arrives as Felicia is leaving and realizes Curtis hired her to track down Jacinda. Jordan wonders what he'll do if Felicia finds Jacinda. Curtis says he'll pay her to tell a story on the record that saves Portia and destroys Drew. Jordan warns him that he could end up with a problem by having Jacinda lie. She says he could end up in prison but Curtis says he'd rather take the heat than let Portia fall. Nina praises Willow for being so strong on the stand. Nina brings up what Wylie said, but Willow defends Drew and claims Michael lied. Nina thinks Michael's change of attitude is because of what Drew said, but Willow continues to believe Michael is at fault. Willow believes Michael is trying to manipulate her to throw her off balance. She says she was getting ready to compromise but Michael's lying changed her mind. Drew gets home and praises Willow for the great job she did on the stand. He is certain she'll win, especially after delivering the baby. Drew says once this is over, they can have a fresh start in DC. Alone with Drew, Nina questions his nonsense and says it's all upsetting Willow. Drew says Michael is the bad guy. Nina brings up what Wylie heard and asks what Drew knows about it. Drew says what Wylie overheard is exactly what Willow and the judge needed to hear. Michael tells Jason and Sonny if he loses, he's taking the kids and leaving the country. He worries the judge will rule in Willow's favor. Carly reminds him that he has a new baby to deal with and can't run off with the kids. Michael tells them what Drew said to Wylie and how Willow didn't believe him when he told her. He says he can't trust Willow. Sonny asks about turning his back on the baby but Michael says he doesn't have a choice, and Sasha is fine with the baby on her own. Carly again is the voice of reason, pointing out that going against a court order and taking the kids would be kidnapping, but Michael says he can disappear. Carly says he can't just leave his family behind, but Michael says Willow will leave him no choice. Sonny says he's there for Michael no matter what. Jason says he'll promise to take care of Sasha and the baby. Carly says he's wrong and making a mistake. She says he'll become a fugitive, but Michael says keeping his kids safe is all that matters. After Michael leaves, Carly gets angry with Sonny for not stopping Michael from doing something stupid and tells Jason how bad things were at the courthouse. Michael takes the kids to the park, where they run into Willow. She says it didn't have to be this way, and Michael says she made the choice. They get a summons back to the courthouse. Aiden and Lucky sit at the airport discussing where they're going. Liz sends him a text to wait for her, and she arrives in time to tell him that she loves him. She tells him to be happy and to make sure Aiden is safe. The two share a kiss before he leaves. Keep checking back for the latest General Hospital recaps! Chris Robinson, ‘12 O'Clock High,' ‘General Hospital' and ‘Bold and the Beautiful' Actor, Dies at 86
Chris Robinson, who starred as a World War II bomber pilot on the 1960s ABC drama 12 O'Clock High and had lengthy stints on the daytime soap operas General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful, has died. He was 86. Robinson died Monday on his ranch near Sedona, Arizona, actor and musician MJ Allen announced on Facebook. They worked together on the 2022 film Just for a Week. More from The Hollywood Reporter Jonathan Mayers, Concert Promoter and Bonnaroo Co-Founder, Dies at 51 Sly Stone, Funk-Rock Pioneer, Dies at 82 Frederick Forsyth, Author of 'The Day of the Jackal,' Dies at 86 During an acting career that spanned eight decades, Robinson worked alongside Burt Lancaster in The Young Savages (1961) and Birdman of Alcatraz (1962), both directed by John Frankenheimer, and with Addams Family icon Ted Cassidy in four films, all of which he directed. The Florida native also starred as Vietnam vet Tim Ochopee, a Seminole with a pet rattlesnake who obeys his commands (for most of the movie, anyway), in the Everglades-set horror film Stanley (1972), from Crown International Pictures. Robinson joined the cast of the Quinn Martin-produced 12 O'Clock High as Technical Sgt. Sandy Komansky for its second season in September 1965. (Also coming on board as a full-time castmember that year: Paul Burke as Col. Joe Gallagher.) He appeared on the final 46 episodes of the show through January 1967. On ABC's General Hospital, he portrayed Dr. Rick Webber (two-time husband of Denise Alexander's Lesley and adoptive father of Genie Francis' Laura) from 1978-86. He came back in 2002, only to have his character bludgeoned to death with a candlestick by Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner), Laura's former husband. Robinson also played Jack Hamilton, who enjoyed romances with Stephanie Douglas (Susan Flannery) and her rival Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley), on CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful from 1992-2002, with a final appearance in 2005. While he was working on G.H. — and after showing up in Garry Marshall's soapy Young Doctors in Love (1982) — Robinson established his bona fides as a pitchman in a Vicks Formula 44 cough syrup commercial. 'I'm not a doctor,' he noted, 'but I do play one on TV.' But when he encountered legal trouble related to income tax evasion, he was replaced by Peter Bergman, another TV doctor on another soap (All My Children). Born on Nov. 5, 1938, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Christopher Brown Robinson appeared uncredited in the Tony Curtis-starring The Midnight Story (1957). Two years later, he played a teenage thug in The Diary of a High School Bride and the spider-like monster in Gene Corman's Beast From Haunted Cave, wearing a costume he had designed. Robinson stayed busy after that, guest-starring on such series as Colt. 45, Hennesey, The Donna Reed Show, Sea Hunt, Death Valley Days, Ben Casey, Gunsmoke, Wagon Train and The Fugitive before landing on 12 O'Clock High. He starred as an albino slave who is on the run with his brother (Anthony Scott) from a plantation owner (Cassidy) in Catch the Black Sunshine (1974), which he also wrote and directed, then did similar triple duty on Thunder County (1974), The Intruder (1975) and The Great Balloon Race (1977). Talking about The Intruder — which also featured Mickey Rooney and Yvonne De Carlo — in a 2017 interview with Nick Thomas, Robinson said he cast it, put the crew together and shot it in a mere six weeks. Asked what became of the movie, Robinson replied: 'I have no idea. I wasn't involved in the editing and didn't even see the finished film, which was never released. I moved on to other projects and just forgot about it.' Robinson's big-screen résumé also included Because They're Young (1960), The Long Rope (1961), Shootout at Big Sag (1962), Lady in Cement (1968), The Cycle Savages (1969), The Hawaiians (1970), Revenge Is My Destiny (1971), Amy (1981), Savannah Smiles (1982) and Just for a Week (2022). Click here for a video tribute to his career. In 1985, Robinson pleaded guilty to federal income tax evasion but was allowed to continue on G.H. by serving his sentence on nights and weekends. In between that soap and The Bold and the Beautiful, he portrayed Jason Frame on NBC's Another World from 1987-89. He married his fourth wife, Jacquie, in April 2011. Survivors also include his children, Shane, Coby, Christian, Christopher, Chris and Taylor, and grandchildren Ivy, Ava, Davey, Brooks and Knox. His son Chris opened a window into the family by producing and directing two documentary shorts: Bankrupt by Beanies (2009), about his dad buying many thousands of Beanie Baby plush toys with the goal of reselling them at a profit, and Bastard: An Illegitimate Film (2010), which explored his 'complicated' family tree (his father had his nine kids with six women). Chris revealed in Bastard that he was 'conceived in [his dad's] dressing room in General Hospital' and pointed out that his father 'practically had as many relationships in his real life as he's had in the movies.' 'No matter how we came to be, all of us are connected,' Chris, talking about his siblings and half-siblings, said in closing the documentary. 'And when our father is gone, even as some of us don't even consider him to be their father, we'll still have each other to look to for love and support. It might not be normal, but it's certainly a hell of a lot more interesting.' Is ‘WondLa' returning for season 3? Everything we know so far
By Aman Shukla Published on June 12, 2025, 19:30 IST Last updated June 12, 2025, 12:38 IST WondLa , the captivating animated sci-fi fantasy series on Apple TV+, has enthralled audiences with its vibrant visuals and heartfelt storytelling. Adapted from Tony DiTerlizzi's bestselling book trilogy, The Search for WondLa , the show follows Eva, a spirited teenager navigating the alien planet Orbona. With Season 2 having premiered on April 25, 2025, fans are eagerly searching for updates on a potential WondLa Season 3. Here's everything we know so far about the show's future. Has WondLa Season 3 Been Confirmed? As of June 2025, Apple TV+ has not officially confirmed WondLa Season 3. However, the series is based on a trilogy of books, and with Season 1 and Season 2 already released, there's strong potential for a third season to complete the adaptation of DiTerlizzi's The Battle for WondLa . According to reports, Skydance Animation, the studio behind WondLa , secured a two-season deal with Apple TV+ before the first season's premiere on June 28, 2024, which guaranteed Season 2. While no similar announcement has been made for a third season, the show's positive reception and the source material's clear roadmap make a renewal plausible. Fans are optimistic, as Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger that set the stage for further adventures, and Season 2 continued to build on Eva's journey with new discoveries and unanswered questions. The lack of an official cancellation also keeps hope alive for WondLa enthusiasts. WondLa Season 3 Release Date Speculation Since WondLa Season 3 has not been greenlit, no official release date exists. However, we can speculate based on the production timeline of the previous seasons. Season 1 premiered on June 28, 2024, and Season 2 followed on April 25, 2025, roughly ten months later. If Apple TV+ renews the series, production timelines for animated shows typically range from 12 to 18 months. This suggests a potential release window for Season 3 could be late 2026 or early 2027, assuming renewal happens soon. Where to Watch WondLa WondLa Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+. If Season 3 is released, it will also premiere on the same platform. Apple TV+ offers a subscription-based service, and fans can check for free trials or promotional offers to catch up on the series.
