Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have long been celebrated as one of Bollywood's most iconic on-screen pairs. From the timeless romance of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to the emotional depth of My Name Is Khan, their films have struck a chord with generations of moviegoers. Known for their effortless chemistry and natural camaraderie, the duo delivered some of Hindi cinema's most memorable romantic moments in hits like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Dilwale.
But, for years, gossip mills have speculated about tension between Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan — all because of the iconic on-screen chemistry shared by Kajol and SRK. But the actress is setting the record straight once and for all.
Speaking to Times Now, Kajol reacted to whether her husband ever felt insecure about her close bond with Shah Rukh Khan, her frequent co-star in hit romantic films.
'Nothing at all, they were pretty much rumours. Genuinely, nothing really happened. They weren't like 'Oh buddy, let's share a beer,' but today they truly respect each other," Kajol said, firmly dismissing any talk of jealousy.
She also touched on the topic of 'camps" in Bollywood, often used to describe industry cliques. 'I don't know whether there are camps anymore. There weren't camps, just friends or certain people who have worked with certain people. More than camps, it was a comfort level of whom you've worked and not worked with. I didn't have a camp, I worked with everybody. The camp system eluded me," she explained.
The Maa actor went on to talk about the understanding she and Ajay Devgn share in their personal life — including respecting each other's social preferences.
'There's no awkwardness, that's a boundary really. As people, we are individuals. I will like some things, he will not like some things and vice versa. We both decided that that's fine. As long as I don't have to sit down and whatever, I am fine, you go ahead, have friends and do whatever you want," she said.
On the work front, Kajol will next be seen in Sarzameen, a thriller set to release on JioHotstar on July 25. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, alongside her.

"There are discussions going on between producers and insurance companies to obtain cover for film piracy," he while the demand for piracy cover is both legitimate and increasingly urgent, insurers face significant hurdles in addressing it. For one, it is difficult to quantify losses due to piracy, they said."There is demand for piracy cover, especially after the piracy of Hindi films such as Double Dhamaal (2011) and Udta Punjab (2016). But insurers are reluctant to underwrite first-party piracy risk, as it is difficult to quantify and prove losses," a senior executive at an insurance broker said, requesting anonymity. "Unless a policy is explicitly structured to protect a producer from film piracy and associated losses, an insurance company would not respond," the executive producers believe that they should combat piracy through systemic changes rather than relying on piracy insurance coverage."I think we need to fight piracy by bringing in stringent laws instead of recovering losses from piracy cover. Piracy is deeply entrenched... I think a piracy cover will make producers complacent," producer Rajesh R Nair said. "Also, a piracy cover is an additional cost to producers at a time when there are funding challenges.
