Harrison Ford, 82, Makes Decision on His Future in ‘Yellowstone' Universe

Harrison Ford is open to returning to the Yellowstone universe if the opportunity presents itself.
After starring in the 1923 spinoff as Jacob Dutton, Ford, 82, wasn't sure how things were going to play out for him after the finale. Creator Taylor Sheridan has made it clear that he wrapped up all the loose ends on Season 2 because that chapter is closed.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter at Paramount+'s '1923' FYC event in Los Angeles on May 4, Ford called the end of 1923 "fantastic."
"I thought it was very tight storytelling and I was absolutely delighted with it. It's probably the densest script and work that I've had a chance to work on in a long, long time," he said.
Now, Sheridan is moving on to the next big Yellowstone-related project — 1944. The series will be a prequel, and development was confirmed by Variety last month. Since Ford's on-screen character didn't die at the end of 1923, it's possible that he could reprise his role if there was ever a need.
While chatting with The Hollywood Reporter, Ford noted that he'd like to return to the Yellowstone family if Sheridan "asks nice."
"I have no idea what his plans are," Ford said.
According to his IMDb page, Ford starred in 15 episodes of 1923 over the past two seasons. He also portrayed President Thaddeus Ross/Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World, which was released in February. He doesn't have any other projects listed at the present time.

Reggaeton singer Jhayco arrested on drug possession charges, reports say

Reggaeton singer-songwriter Jhayco has been arrested in Florida after allegedly being found in possession of drugs, according to reports. The Latin urban star, born Jesús Manuel Nieves Cortés, was arrested in Miami early Tuesday morning, Aug. 12, and charged with cocaine possession and cannabis possession of 20 grams or less after being pulled over by police during a traffic stop, according to Rolling Stone, Variety and NBC 6 South Florida. Before his arrest, Jhayco, 32, was reportedly driving at 5 mph and took over a minute to resume driving after coming to a complete stop, per Rolling Stone and NBC 6. When police approached the singer's car, a deputy reportedly observed a "strong odor of cannabis" coming from the vehicle, and that Jhayco had "white powder" on his pants and nose, Rolling Stone and NBC 6 report. He was allegedly unable to provide the police with a driver's license during the stop. Additionally, police discovered that the Grammy-nominated singer had "clear baggies with suspect powder cocaine," totaling about two grams, in his pockets, according to Rolling Stone and NBC 6. USA TODAY has reached out to the Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office and representatives for Jhayco for comment. Following the incident, Jhayco was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to Variety. His bond was set at $3,000, the outlet reported alongside Rolling Stone and NBC 6. Inside the looks of ‘1923': Emmy-nominated costume designer Janie Bryant on dressing Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, and 5,000 extras

On 1923, the Yellowstone prequel created by Taylor Sheridan, Emmy-nominated costume designer Janie Bryant helped transform Hollywood legends Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren into rugged Montana ranchers. Tasked with outfitting more than 5,000 extras in addition to the principal cast, Bryant drew inspiration from 1920s photographs, newspapers, and extensive archival research to establish the series' authentic visual tone. During Gold Derby's Meet the Experts: Costume Designers panel, Bryant explained how she emphasized historical accuracy and character contrast to bring the world of 1923 to life. How would you describe the overall look of ? More from Gold Derby Emmys upheaval: 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert' now predicted to win Best Variety Talk Series Beyoncé finally wins an Emmy after 10 nominations: See all the 2025 juried winners The overall look of the show is quite dark. That's kind of the basis of the story. It's dark with that little light of hope, with the grand ball at the end when everybody is pouring their eyes out with buckets of tears. For the characters, Jacob Dutton [Ford] and Cara Dutton [Mirren], their story really is about having a palette of darker clothing because they have gone through the turmoil and the stress of having this ranch and going through the journey of living on the ranch. That's also in contrast of Alex [Julia Schlaepfer] and Liz's [Michelle Randolph] palette, because when I talked to Taylor about those two characters, they're really the eternal brides. Their palette is quite light. What was the biggest challenge working on the show? Working with the huge amount of extras — 5,000 extras. And we were shooting in Texas and people were in fur and heavy layers and just melting through their costumes. That was really the challenging part of the job because they had to look cold when it was 108 degrees outside. Where do you draw inspiration from when designing costumes? I do a lot of research from online to different stills and photographs and newspapers from the 1920s. I put the whole design book together for each character. That is really helpful for me. I love to share it with my crew, with Taylor and of course, with the actors. What's your favorite part of the job? I love the entire cast. Harrison is a riot. Helen, she's hysterical. I think fittings for me are really just the most fun part because it's the transformation from the actor into the character. I love telling that story.
