AU releases admission schedule under AUEET
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University (AU) has released the schedule for certificate verification and counselling for admission into various BTech (self-support) programmes at AU college of engineering under the AU Engineering Entrance Test-2025.
The rank cards would e available for downloads on May 24.
Registration for online certificate verification and web counselling will begin on May 26. Offline (physical) certificate verification for CAP category candidates will be conducted on May 30 at the directorate of admissions office. Similarly, offline verification for PwD category candidates will also take place on May 30.
Uploading of special category certificates for NCC and sports candidates is scheduled for May 27 and 29.
All candidates must upload their certificates between May 26 and 30. Entry and editing of web options will be permitted from June 1 to 3, followed by the provisional allotment of seats on June 5. Online fee payment will be accepted from June 6 to 12. Date for offline reporting will be announced later.
The annual fee for computer science and engineering is Rs 2.05 lakh and, for electronics & communications engineering is Rs 1.55 lakh,for mechanical engineering is Rs 1.3 lakh, and for civil engineering and electrical and electronics engineering is Rs 1.05 lakh each. Candidates completing the four-year course may pursue MTech for an additional two years, if desired. DSC-2025: Exams begin, over 5 lakh to compete for 16,347 teacher posts
The Department of School Education has received more than 5 lakh applications for the DSC-2025 examination that began today and will end on June 30, 2025. Convenor of the Mega DSC-2025, M. Venkata Krishna Reddy, said: '16,347 teacher posts will be filled in government, local bodies, and schools run by welfare societies across the State through this recruitment drive. As many as 3,36,305 candidates have submitted 5,77,675 applications for various teaching positions, including school assistants (SA), secondary grade teachers (SGTs), school assistants (Physical Education), physical education teachers (PETs), principals, postgraduate teachers (PGTs), and trained graduate teachers (TGTs). The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted across 137 test centres in the state and 17 centres outside the state, including Hyderabad, Kodad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Berhampur. To ensure transparency, the exams will be monitored through live CCTV surveillance, and candidates will undergo biometric verification. Section 144 of CrPC will be enforced around the exam venues to maintain law and order and prevent any possible malpractice. Candidates must download their hall tickets from the official Mega DSC website, Candidates will be allowed entry to the exam centre 90 minutes before the scheduled time and up to 9 a.m. for the morning session and up to 2 p.m. for the afternoon session, said Mr. Krishna Reddy.
