Justin Bieber to release long-awaited new album amid erratic behavior, marriage woe rumors: report

Yahoo5 days ago
Wake up, Beliebers!
Justin Bieber is reportedly getting ready to release new music.
Def Jam Recordings record label will drop the pop star's long-awaited seventh studio album on Friday, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
TMZ reported the same, claiming that the album's name is 'Swag.'
Bieber's reps have not yet responded to Page Six's request for comment. Reps for Def Jam were also not immediately available.
However, the singer seemed to confirm the news by reposting The Kid Laroi's Instagram Story, which read, 'if you don't listen to this album when it drops we can't be friends. sorry I don't make the rules.'
Bieber wrote atop the post, which included an image of what looked like the album cover, 'LOVE YOU BROski.'
The Grammy winner also uploaded a picture and video of what appeared to be the album's tracklist.
He went on to share new family photos featuring his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their 10-month-old son, Jack, which seem to be affiliated with the project.
On Thursday, billboards featuring a black-and-white picture of a shirtless Justin — from the aforementioned photo shoot — along with the word 'Swag' started to pop up in different cities, including Los Angeles and Iceland.
Hailey took to her own Instagram account Thursday to re-share a billboard pic and support her husband — while slamming rumored trouble in their marriage. 'Is it finally clocking to you f–king losers?' she wrote atop the Instagram Stories slide, adding 'WTHELLY' by Rob49 to the background.
Justin spent some time in Iceland in April to put the finishing touches on the project, THR reported, with a source telling the outlet that he was really able to 'vibe out' during 'jam sessions' with a number of collaborators.
Gunna, Sexyy Red and Cash Cobain are reportedly among those featured on the album.
The Biebers have been battling divorce rumors for close to a year, with many sources claiming that Justin's recent erratic behavior is to blame.
However, both he and the model, 28, have repeatedly shut down speculation of trouble in paradise. And while the musician has shown himself smoking marijuana, his reps have denied that he is on drugs.

‘Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 Teaser Pokes Fun at Cast Shake-Up: ‘Help Wanted'

"The faces may have changed, but my rules? They've stayed the same," Lisa Vanderpump says in a new Bravo clip In the wake of the cross-season drama dubbed Scandoval, 'Vanderpump Rules' overhauled its cast of characters around SUR owner Lisa Vanderpump going into Season 12. Bravo released a brief teaser for the upcoming season on Friday, poking fun at what came before to hint at what's coming next. The 15-second clip shows Lisa Vanderpump putting up a 'Help Wanted' sign on the door of her sexy, unique restaurant before looking at the camera and winking. A text card then states, 'It's time for a shift.' They've stayed the same,' Vanderpump says in the clip. You can watch the teaser for yourself, below. In November 2024, it was announced that Bravo's hit reality show 'Vanderpump Rules' was in for a total overhaul. Following two seasons of Scandoval, the show sought to build a new cast from the ground up around the former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star. The reboot will also include a retrospective special looking back at the first 11 seasons of the show. 'The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between,' Vanderpump said in a statement at the time. 'I can't thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of 'Vanderpump Rules.'' 'VPR's' big debacle began in the show's 10th season. At the time, Tom Sandoval allegedly cheated on his longtime girlfriend (and co-star) Ariana Madix — with her then-best friend, Raquel Leviss. Leviss herself, meanwhile, is the ex-fiancée of James Kennedy, who, you guessed it, was yet another cast member. You can see why they needed to reboot. The Scandoval drama continued into the show's 11th season, where Sandoval, Madix and Kennedy all returned. Leviss, on the other hand, did not. The scandal was big enough that it broke containment from the show itself, becoming a popular topic in tabloids and online circles. Since the news of the overhaul, Sandoval has been making appearances on other reality programs, such as 'The Traitors' and 'America's Got Talent,' while Madix is now the host of 'Love Island USA.' A release date for 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 has not been set. The post 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 Teaser Pokes Fun at Cast Shake-Up: 'Help Wanted' appeared first on TheWrap.

Wolfenstein TV Series in the Works at Amazon

After a successful first season of the Fallout series, Amazon MGM Studios will adapt another video game. Interestingly enough, this franchise has a story that's similar to the one in Amazon's first popular TV series, The Man in the High Castle. Amazon will begin work on adapting the video game Wolfenstein, according to a report from Variety on Friday. There are few details about the show's plot available other than the tagline "The story of killing Nazis is evergreen." The showrunner of the series will be Patrick Somerville, who created Maniac for Netflix and Station Eleven for HBO Max. Jerk Gustafsson -- an executive producer at MachineGames, which develops the Wolfenstein games -- will also be part of the production, as an executive producer. Wolfenstein is one of the oldest video game franchises. The series started back in 1981 with Castle Wolfenstein, a stealth game that was ahead of its time. Most people are familiar with the reboot of the series, Wolfenstein 3D, which was developed by id Software, the company that later acquired the rights to the franchise. In 2010, publisher Bethesda acquired id Software, and a new Wolfenstein game went into production with development handled by MachineGames. That game, Wolfenstein: The New Order, shifted the franchise's setting from World War II to an alternate timeline where the Nazis won the war. This reboot starred William "B.J." Blazkowicz, the same American soldier from the original Wolfenstein 3D, although this time, instead of killing Hitler, he ends up in a coma. Blazkowicz awakens in 1960 and begins fighting to defeat the Nazis once again. Multiple games were released in this new Wolfenstein timeline, including Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot. There are no details on when the new Wolfenstein series will premiere or who will star in it. Amazon MGM Studios didn't immediately respond to a request for additional info about the show.

Forget 'Superman' — DC studios lassos 'Supergirl' screenwriter to pen 'Wonder Woman' reboot

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. With James Gunn's "Superman" dominating at the box office, all eyes are on what the revamped DCU has next. Now, DC Studios has hired playwright, actress, and "Supergirl" screenwriter Ana Nogueira to write its new redo of "Wonder Woman," The Wrap reports. The news comes as "Superman" soars past $409 million at the global box office in just two weekends, the kind of blockbuster success comic book movies haven't seen at the box office since pre-Covid days. Nogueira, who previously starred in "The Michael J. Fox Show," "The Vampire Diaries" and "Hightown," is quickly becoming one of DC's go-to hitters. She's also reportedly set to write a live-action take of Teen Titans for the Gunn- and Peter Safran-run Warner Bros label. "Supergirl," which debuts in theaters on June 26, 2026, will be her first produced screenplay, and it's being adapted from the graphic novel 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.' Wonder Woman's place in the new DCU Rebooting Wonder Woman has emerged as a top priority for the studio. Earlier this month, Variety reported that DC is fast-tracking the film, and Gunn told Entertainment Weekly in June that a new "Wonder Woman" movie is "being written right now." DC Studios is also reportedly working on a "Paradise Island" TV series for HBO set on Wonder Woman's home of Themyscira. Gal Gadot first brought the Princess of Themyscira to the big screen in director Patty Jenkins' 2017 film "Wonder Woman," which earned $822 million worldwide and challenged industry assumptions that female-led superhero movies didn't have as much pull among audiences as their male counterparts. Gadot and Jenkins reunited for "Wonder Woman 1984," which premiered on Christmas Day in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. Gadot also revised her role in "Justice League" (2017), "Zack Snyder's Justice League" (2021), and "The Flash" (2023). It's not clear what role Wonder Woman will play now that Gunn and Safran have rebooted the DC universe. Nogueira could take the character in a bold new direction, but that could prove risky considering the original "Wonder Woman" was one of the most beloved movies of the previous franchise. For now, we'll have to wait to learn more about Wonder Woman's future on the big screen. It's possible we could see her cameo in "Supergirl" when it hits theaters next year, similar to how Supergirl actress Milly Alcock appeared at the end of "Superman" to tease the DCU's next chapter.
