Justin Bieber to release long-awaited new album amid erratic behavior, marriage woe rumors: report

Wake up, Beliebers! Justin Bieber is reportedly getting ready to release new music. Def Jam Recordings record label will drop the pop star's long-awaited seventh studio album on Friday, according to the Hollywood Reporter. TMZ reported the same, claiming that the album's name is 'Swag.' Bieber's reps have not yet responded to Page Six's request for comment. Reps for Def Jam were also not immediately available. However, the singer seemed to confirm the news by reposting The Kid Laroi's Instagram Story, which read, 'if you don't listen to this album when it drops we can't be friends. sorry I don't make the rules.' Bieber wrote atop the post, which included an image of what looked like the album cover, 'LOVE YOU BROski.' The Grammy winner also uploaded a picture and video of what appeared to be the album's tracklist. He went on to share new family photos featuring his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their 10-month-old son, Jack, which seem to be affiliated with the project. On Thursday, billboards featuring a black-and-white picture of a shirtless Justin — from the aforementioned photo shoot — along with the word 'Swag' started to pop up in different cities, including Los Angeles and Iceland. Hailey took to her own Instagram account Thursday to re-share a billboard pic and support her husband — while slamming rumored trouble in their marriage. 'Is it finally clocking to you f–king losers?' she wrote atop the Instagram Stories slide, adding 'WTHELLY' by Rob49 to the background. Justin spent some time in Iceland in April to put the finishing touches on the project, THR reported, with a source telling the outlet that he was really able to 'vibe out' during 'jam sessions' with a number of collaborators. Gunna, Sexyy Red and Cash Cobain are reportedly among those featured on the album. The Biebers have been battling divorce rumors for close to a year, with many sources claiming that Justin's recent erratic behavior is to blame. However, both he and the model, 28, have repeatedly shut down speculation of trouble in paradise. And while the musician has shown himself smoking marijuana, his reps have denied that he is on drugs. Lady Gaga Beats One Of Justin Bieber's Most Impressive Records

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars's 'Die With a Smile' becomes the longest-running duet in the Hot 100's top ... More 10, beating Justin Bieber and The Kid Larry. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 02: (L-R) Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars accept the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Award for "Die with a Smile" onstage during the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards at Arena on February 02, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo byfor The Recording Academy) Getty Images for The Recording Academy Lady Gaga has scored the hit of a lifetime alongside Bruno Mars with 'Die With a Smile.' That's quite the statement for a musician who long ago asserted herself as one of her generation's top hitmakers — and one of the most successful pop musicians of all time. As the tune approaches its first year on the Hot 100, 'Die With a Smile' is still living inside the top 10, and as it holds on and earns another stay in the competitive ranking's uppermost tier, the duet breaks out of a tie and makes history once again. According to Billboard , 'Die With a Smile' has now spent 45 weeks inside the top 10 on the Hot 100. As it reaches that figure, the Gaga/Mars collaboration earns the title of the duet with the most time spent in the Hot 100's top 10. Previously, 'Die With a Smile' was tied with 'Stay' by The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber, as both had managed 44 turns between Nos. 1 and 10. 'Die With a Smile' now ranks as the fourth-longest-running top 10 hit in American history. The track still trails behind – by quite a distance – the three tunes that land ahead of it on the all-time ranking. 'Lose Control' by Teddy Swims continues to own the record, as it has already accrued 68 weeks within the Hot 100's top 10. 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' by Shaboozey comes next with an even 60 frames in that region, followed by 'Blinding Lights' by The Weeknd, with 57 stays. Amazingly, the two longest-charting Hot 100 hits are also still present inside the top 10 alongside 'Die With a Smile' at the moment. In fact, they currently rank higher than the Grammy-winning collaboration. 'Lose Control' swaps spots with Gaga and Mars, while 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' jumps to No. 4. 'Die With a Smile' remains on all three consumption-based charts that help determine a tune's placement on the Hot 100: the Streaming Songs, Radio Songs, and Digital Song Sales tallies. Gaga and Mars only appear inside the top 10 on one of them, the Radio Songs list, where their duet holds at No. 3. Coincidentally, 'Die With a Smile' also sits in that same spot on both the Adult Contemporary and Adult Pop Airplay lists, while dipping slightly to No. 10 on the Pop Airplay ranking. Streams and sales of the cut are still strong, especially as it nears its first birthday, but it appears that airplay is largely responsible for its continued success.

NSW musicians finally get their own awards and it's the biggest cash prize in Australia

NSW musicians will finally get their own awards after decades of being ignored as other states celebrated their local artists. And it's the biggest music prize in Australia, with the state government offering $80,000 to the major NSW Music Award winner for the single or album judged to have 'the most significant impact.' The winners of the First Nations Music Award and Breakthrough Artist of the Year will each score $40,000. 'Despite the fact NSW is the engine room of Australia's music industry, we were one of the only states that didn't have a music prize. I thought that was a travesty, so the arrival of the NSW Music Prize will right that wrong,' Minister for Music John Graham said. While the eligibility criteria is to be finalised, there are a raft of contenders for the inaugural awards open to NSW solo artists or groups who have released new work between July 1, 2024 and June 30 this year. Sydney born and raised global rap star The Kid Laroi is a frontrunner to score a nomination, having released his new single 'How Does It Feel?' just before the June 30 cut off. Indie duo Royel Otis who have taken the world by storm have been strong favourites with awards judges over the past two years. Alternative rockers Lime Cordiale, who have been playing to record crowds in America opening for Tash Sultana, are also in the running with last year's No.1 record 'Enough of the Sweet Talk.' Established artists also vying for the major prize include electronic superstars Rufus Du Sol, acclaimed singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko, hip hop heroes Bliss N Eso, Menangle rockers The Rubens and Angus Stone with his Dope Lemon side project. There is a wealth of First Nations artists from the State making noise on the airwaves and stages also up for the inaugural gongs from proud Nowra rapper Nooky and western Sydney rhyme queen Barkaa to soulful northern NSW singer Budjerah. Emerging acts to keep an eye out for on the nominations list for the awards to be held in Sydney in November during Ausmusic Month are alternative pop chameleon Grentperez, r&b goddess Becca Hatch, Barnesy's grand-daughter Ruby Rodgers and Cronulla all-women indie rockers The Buoys. Graham said the awards were overdue to address the identity crisis suffered by NSW music-makers. 'For a lot of NSW citizens, I don't think they know who their NSW artists are, they would think of them as Australian artists,' he said. 'We just want them to have that second thought to realise how local they are so that deepens the connection between the fan and the artists.' NSW has a long and illustrious roll call of musicians who have claimed global success over the decades from AC/DC, INXS and Midnight Oil to Flume, 5 Seconds of Summer and Dean Lewis. The Breakthrough award will prove a profile-boosting game-changer for emerging talent who struggle to get airplay or cut through on streaming services against top tier international acts. The struggle for local artists can be seen on the ARIA charts where streaming has shut out homegrown releases from the top 50. 'The thing that really worries me is our artists getting locked out of the international music system at the moment as streaming really narrows the chances of our artists taking off,' Graham said. 'Every global success has got to start locally somewhere. And we've got to recognise how important the local scene is and when our local artists do succeed, either on the national or the international stage, we've got to claim them and celebrate them. We've singly failed to do that until now.' Other states are huge on blowing the trumpet for their local acts with long-standing gongs via the Music Victoria Awards (paused for 2025), Queensland Music Awards and SA Music Awards. Respected promoter, indie record label owner and Australian music champion Michael Chugg agreed the awards are long overdue. 'I think nationally we need to get more Aussie kids into Australian music, and these things help,' he said. 'With streaming now, to make it in your own country, you pretty much need to have a big hit in America or England. 'There has been a disconnect here and a lot of people don't even know those artists doing really well overseas are Australian.' The government is now calling for Expressions of Interest to join the nominations committee and judging panels via Sound NSW.

Tate McRae and Her "Bodyguard" Fuel Speculation and Debate Amid Handsy swimsuit Boat Pics

As you might have noticed, fans have been speculating about the status of Tate McRae and The Kid Laroi's relationship for a minute now despite the fact that they're pretty clearly still together (he literally liked her most recent Instagram post!!!!). Buuut DeuxMoi just dropped pics of Tate lounging in a swimsuit on a boat with friends. Including someone that's been identified—but not confirmed—as her body guard, who was photographed getting close to the star. For what it's worth, it's possible this man was simply trying to shield Tate from being photographed by paps, and the pics ended up looking more intimate than they were! As people put it in the comments: "I think he's just trying to make sure paparazzi doesn't get shots of her 🍑 going up the steps." "Her body guard is giving her privacy. You're welcome." I mean, that ^ seems like the most likely scenario, but judge for yourself this way! And before we go, quick reminder that Tate and The Kid Laroi started dating in 2024 and have been pretty public with their relationship—stepping out for multiple red carpets and talking about their relationship (subtly, but still!) in interviews. Their last public appearance was at the Vanity Fair Oscar party back in March. You Might Also Like Here's What NOT to Wear to a Wedding Meet the Laziest, Easiest Acne Routine You'll Ever Try
