Riyad Mahrez's wife pregnant after 'football team of kids' comment
Influencer Taylor Ward has revealed she is pregnant with her second child with footballer husband Riyad Mahrez as the pair shared a touching video as they announced their news
WAG Taylor Ward has announced she is expecting her second child with footballer Riyad Mahrez in a sweet post. She shared the exciting news with her 2.8 million followers alongside her husband and daughter, Mila.
The family is set to expand as Taylor revealed she is pregnant in the adorable update. Taylor, who is the daughter of Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward, appeared in a clip alongside Riyad and Mila.
She captioned the post: "Our family is growing," alongside a white heart emoji. Riyad, who is also a dad to two daughters, Ayla and Inaya, with his former partner Rita Johal, joined Taylor in the emotional video alongside their children.
The couple both wore white T-shirts as Taylor showed her growing baby bump and held up her scan photos. Their 2-year-old daughter, Mila, kissed Taylor's stomach as Riyad gently held onto his wife.
Mila beamed as she also held onto the scan photos of her incoming brother or sister. The couple also filmed the touching moment they told Riyad's daughters about their happy news as the girls were handed photos at the same time.
They shared a family hug before the girls set about the task of revealing if Taylor is expecting a boy or girl. Taylor has chosen to keep the result private for now, as their daughters dug into a cake that revealed either pink or blue depending on the gender of the baby.
The couple were flooded with comments from their celebrity pals as TOWIE's Ferne McCann said: "Congrats x x x x." Love Island's Grace Jackson commented: "Congratulations." Model Roxy Horner wrote: "Congratulations babe," and Lottie Tomlinson gushed: "Yay congratulations."
Earlier this year, the couple revealed their plans for a large family as Riyad admitted he "wants a football team" of children.
'Riyad would love a football team,' Taylor told the Mirror. 'He's a brilliant dad. He needs more kids, that's for sure.' Influencer Taylor first married footballer Riyad in 2022 in an intimate Muslim ceremony at home.
The pair legally became husband and wife at The Londoner Hotel surrounded by 30 of their closest family and friends in September 2023. Their lavish final ceremony was in July 2024, just days after Mila's second birthday.
'I have three sisters, so I want to give Mila the same. I want her to have a big family,' said Taylor, who has a very close bond with her glamorous sisters Darby, Charlie and Aston.
Mila will turn three in July, and Taylor told us she was ready to embark on another pregnancy – and spend sleepless nights with her newborn.
'I've got to carry the children and do the pregnancy, which is not easy,' said Taylor. 'The newborn stage is a lot more challenging than people think.
"Those sleepless nights are probably what's made me hold off having another one straight away. But I'm definitely more ready now than I ever have been.'
Of course with a husband earning an estimated £44million a year playing for Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli, Taylor has a nanny plus staff to help around their gorgeous home.
However, she maintained she's still a very hands-on mum. 'I do have a nanny and I do have house help but we live abroad,' explained Taylor. 'I don't have any of my family, I don't have any of Riyad's family in Saudi so we have zero family support."

Love Island's Olivia Hawkins dating hunky boxer and Netflix star
After a stint on Love Island All Stars last year, Olivia Hawkins is now in the throes of a new romance Love Island star Olivia Hawkins is has got a new flame, and her beau will be a familiar face to viewers who love binge watching Netflix reality TV. The brunette beauty, 29, who recently appeared on Love Island : All Stars, has been spotted getting close to professional boxer and Too Hot To Handle star Kelechi 'Kelz' Dyke, 31. Sources say sparks have been flying between the pair during filming for the latest series of Celebs Go Dating, where Liv was originally linked to co-star Louis Russell. Things appear to have taken a romantic turn with Kelz, and it looks like it's more than just a showmance. A source told The Sun: "Liv was linked to fellow Celebs Go Dating co-star Louis Russell when production on the series first started. But since then she's been on a series of dates with boxer Kelechi 'Kelz' Dyke, which have been filmed for the show. "Netflix fans will know him from Too Hot To Handle as well, so he is well versed in reality TV. But the chemistry between him and Liv is genuine and they are really into each other. Watch this space." Despite the budding romance, Liv may be jetting off to Fiji soon, as she's reportedly in talks to appear on Love Island Games. The US-based spin-off is filmed for Peacock and then airs later on ITV2 in the UK. It would mark Liv's third stint on the hit dating franchise, after she failed to find lasting love during both her original appearance and All Stars. On All Stars she briefly coupled up with Love Island alumni Marcel Somerville. But the pair were dumped from the villa on Day 10 after being voted the least compatible by viewers. Not long after, they confirmed they'd split, but said they still speak regularly as friends. Producers now feel Liv deserves another shot at love, and more time on screen. A source told The Sun: "They feel like she didn't get enough of a chance to shine on All Stars as she left the villa too early, but they believe she will go down a storm on The Games. "She is currently still filming Celebs Go Dating for E4, but if talks continue to go well, she could be winging her way to Fiji soon afterwards." Liv made headlines earlier this year when she became embroiled in the leaked messages saga during All Stars. While helping with an eviction, she claimed fellow islander Grace Jackson had texted saying she would do anything to win the show. Grace hit back, calling the accusations false and demanding to see proof. Liv later tearfully defended her actions on the SnatchedByWill podcast, saying producers encouraged her to share what she'd seen. She said: "I said this piece of information to producers, and they wanted me to, you know, say what I've seen. "What I will say is, do people really think I would go on national television and lie about something so serious as that?"

Kate Moss 'snubbed DJ pal Fat Tony's wedding over certain guest'
Kate Moss was said to have been lined up as a bridesmaid for the wedding of her DJ pal Fat Tony, but she ended up not even attending the star-studded nuptials after finding out who else was on the guest list. Kate Moss reportedly delivered a cold shoulder to the nuptials of her DJ mate Fat Tony, due to an invitation extended to her ex-chum. The iconic model, 51, was rumoured to have been in line for bridesmaid duties at the extravagant do before she decided to bow out. Amongst those who did partake as bridesmaids when the DJ tied the knot with Stavros Agapiou were TOWIE's Gemma Collins and actress Claire Sweeney. Yet, Kate gave the bash a wide berth, purportedly because PR guru Fran Cutler was on the guest list. The duo were once tight-knit until their bond turned sour following an incident where Fran is alleged to have sent Kate images of herself with a disparaging remark attached back in 2018, reports the Mirror. Presently, it appears this rift has wedged itself between Kate and her circle of friends. An insider disclosed to the Sun: "Kate snubbing Fat Tony's big day was the talk of the wedding." The source elaborated that Fat Tony had hoped for Kate's presence, but her decision was made upon learning of Fran's attendance. "Tony is said to have known for a while that Kate wouldn't be going if Fran was," they revealed. "She was really missed and the guests were talking about it." It was also mentioned that Fran was in high spirits during the event, yet steered clear of any conversation about Kate. "It's all rather sad that they couldn't put on brave faces to celebrate Tony's big day," the insider lamented. The DJ and his partner exchanged vows in a West London church that holds deep significance for Tony. "There's a church in Earl's Court," he recounted. "When we died of AIDS, no one else would touch us because they didn't want to bury us into the ground. We weren't allowed to be buried. "We had to be burned. This church was the only place that had love and compassion for our community. I want to get married there because, for me, it's full circle. It's for everybody that didn't make it to that point." The glittering guest list included luminaries such as Boy George, who was reportedly the best man. Other celebrities in attendance were Davina McCall, Kelly Osbourne, Neneh Cherry, Patsy Palmer, Claire Sweeney, and David Furnish. In the hours leading up to his nuptials, Fat Tony, whose birth name is Tony Marnach, expressed his excitement for his 'new chapter' with a heartfelt message. On Instagram, he shared an image captioned: "Love Wins Tony and Stavros" with their wedding date, May 31. The star DJ also penned some moving words in the post, stating: "Here we stand at the beginning .......... The happiest chapter of my life x".
