Love Island's Olivia Hawkins dating hunky boxer and Netflix star

Daily Mirror2 days ago

After a stint on Love Island All Stars last year, Olivia Hawkins is now in the throes of a new romance
Love Island star Olivia Hawkins is has got a new flame, and her beau will be a familiar face to viewers who love binge watching Netflix reality TV. The brunette beauty, 29, who recently appeared on Love Island : All Stars, has been spotted getting close to professional boxer and Too Hot To Handle star Kelechi 'Kelz' Dyke, 31.
Sources say sparks have been flying between the pair during filming for the latest series of Celebs Go Dating, where Liv was originally linked to co-star Louis Russell. Things appear to have taken a romantic turn with Kelz, and it looks like it's more than just a showmance.

A source told The Sun: "Liv was linked to fellow Celebs Go Dating co-star Louis Russell when production on the series first started. But since then she's been on a series of dates with boxer Kelechi 'Kelz' Dyke, which have been filmed for the show.
"Netflix fans will know him from Too Hot To Handle as well, so he is well versed in reality TV. But the chemistry between him and Liv is genuine and they are really into each other. Watch this space."
Despite the budding romance, Liv may be jetting off to Fiji soon, as she's reportedly in talks to appear on Love Island Games. The US-based spin-off is filmed for Peacock and then airs later on ITV2 in the UK.
It would mark Liv's third stint on the hit dating franchise, after she failed to find lasting love during both her original appearance and All Stars. On All Stars she briefly coupled up with Love Island alumni Marcel Somerville.
But the pair were dumped from the villa on Day 10 after being voted the least compatible by viewers. Not long after, they confirmed they'd split, but said they still speak regularly as friends.

Producers now feel Liv deserves another shot at love, and more time on screen. A source told The Sun: "They feel like she didn't get enough of a chance to shine on All Stars as she left the villa too early, but they believe she will go down a storm on The Games.
"She is currently still filming Celebs Go Dating for E4, but if talks continue to go well, she could be winging her way to Fiji soon afterwards."
Liv made headlines earlier this year when she became embroiled in the leaked messages saga during All Stars. While helping with an eviction, she claimed fellow islander Grace Jackson had texted saying she would do anything to win the show. Grace hit back, calling the accusations false and demanding to see proof.
Liv later tearfully defended her actions on the SnatchedByWill podcast, saying producers encouraged her to share what she'd seen. She said: "I said this piece of information to producers, and they wanted me to, you know, say what I've seen.
"What I will say is, do people really think I would go on national television and lie about something so serious as that?"

Ginny and Georgia, season 3, review: a perfect example of the addictive Netflix formula

In the market for a soapy drama about a beautiful, whip-smart single mother and her clever yet dreadfully dull and endlessly ungrateful teenage daughter? Gilmore Girls might have already nailed that formula 20 years ago, but because television is just an infinite cycle of reboots, sequels, prequels or blatant rip-offs these days, it was only a matter of time until a streamer tried to replicate that show's schmaltzy charm. Enter Ginny & Georgia (Netflix). Among Netflix 's most popular original series, it's back for a third season that is once again filled with – deep breath – murder, small-town politics, mother-daughter bickering, sex, snogging and property porn. One imagines it came about when an executive marched into work the morning after his daughter forced him to watch Gilmore Girls and demanded a modern update, only crossed with Narcos, because American audiences can't get enough of crime. Georgia (Brianne Howey) is a Southern belle and single mother-of-two with a dark past: childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, poverty. A cycle of marrying rich then moving on, culminated, prior to the events of the first season, in her murdering her grope-happy husband (spoiler alert: he's not the only man she's sent to the pearly gates). Now, a few years on, her perfect new life in an idyllic New England town – complete with perfect New England man, in the form of local mayor Paul Randolph (Friday Night Lights' Scott Porter) – is starting to unravel. Season two ended with Georgia being escorted in handcuffs from her fairytale wedding to Paul , accused of murdering a neighbour's terminally ill husband. In her eyes, it was a mercy killing, though the rest of the town – and the law – doesn't see it that way. Most of season three's 10 episodes revolve around the court case, which turns into a media sensation. Howey is warm, funny and impossible not to root for, despite her penchant for killing off her exes. Flashback scenes patch together her traumatic past (her younger self affectingly portrayed by Nikki Roumel) and further elicit the audience's empathy: she might be a killer, but all of her victims were abusive or cruel. She might lie and steal, but it's only to provide for her family. The latter consists of teenage daughter Ginny (Antonia Gentry), possibly the most annoying TV character to have emerged in the past decade – and I've watched all of And Just Like That, so I'm unfortunately familiar with Che Diaz – due to her constant whining, whingeing and weeping. Fair enough, her mother's a criminal, her little brother (Diesel La Torraca) is painfully shy, troubled and keeps mauling other kids at school, but that's no excuse. Ginny and Georgia would benefit hugely from the showrunners omitting the Ginny half of the title. Season three ends, as expected, with Georgia walking free, having recruited her kids to frame an old nemesis for the crime. After bingeing all 10 hour-long episodes, you might find yourself in a rut of self-loathing: 'I know this isn't 'good',' you'll think, 'so why can't I stop watching?' Because it's the perfect example of the Netflix formula: soapy, cheesy fun led by unbelievably good-looking actors. It's not The Sopranos. It's not even Gilmore Girls. It's just shiny, addictive escapism.

‘I'm really weak' – Chris Kamara gives health update as Sky Sports legend reveals new role

Kamara is fighting against TWO illnesses KAM'S NEW GIG 'I'm really weak' – Chris Kamara gives health update as Sky Sports legend reveals new role Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CHRIS KAMARA admitted 'I'm really weak' after giving a health update while securing a new role. The Sky Sports legend, 67, was forced to step back from broadcasting two years after being diagnosed with apraxia of speech (AOS). 1 Chris Kamara admits 'I'm really weak' after landing a new role Credit: Getty The condition sees sufferers struggle to speak as the brain is unable to properly control the muscles used to form words. Kamara exclusively told The Sun last month that he had travelled to Mexico for treatment. He also suffers from dyspraxia, which affects his balance and coordination. And now, the fan favourite has managed to land himself a new role. For one day only, Kamara will be serving free chip butties at Camden Market with Burton's Fish 'N' Chips on Friday June 6. The surprise gig was carefully considered before being accepted by Kamara because of his AOS and dyspraxia. And he admits his health battle has left him feeling 'really weak' overall. Kamara told The Star: 'I'm choosy these days. "That's what's happened with the work because even though I've got the acceptance of my condition, I still don't want to put myself in a situation where it comes back to bite me. 'So I'm not like the old Chris Kamara who would say yes to the opening of an envelope. Fans have 'tears in eyes' as Sky Sports icon Chris Kamara reunited with old pal Jeff Stelling on shock commentary return What is apraxia of speech? Apraxia of speech is a condition which makes talking difficult, with sufferers knowing what they'd like to say, but having trouble communicating their words. The NHS says that the condition can be extremely frustrating for people. They explained: "Frequently the person with apraxia will have difficulties with conversational speech. However they may be good at 'automatic' speech tasks such as counting, swearing, repeating rhymes, greetings and farewell. It's usually caused by damage to the left side of the brain, such as a stroke. The condition does not affect a person's understanding and the symptoms of the condition can vary occurring to the severity of the disorder. The main symptoms are: being able to say a word correctly one minute and then not the next difficulty at the beginning of words greater difficulty with longer words aware of mistakes but unable to correct them speaking slowly being better at 'automatic tasks' such as counting and singing. "Whereas now I'm a bit more choosy and will I put myself in a situation where it won't work out alongside my apraxia, I have dyspraxia, which affects your balance. 'So I'm weak, really weak, and you know, going down these stairs isn't great. "Going up these stairs is fine, but going down these stairs, the brain tells you you're going to fall even though you probably won't, so you have to hold on to the banister and getting on planes and things like that.' On his dyspraxia, Kamara added: 'Walking is fine but the thing is if I trip I can't put my arms out anymore to stop my fall, so if I was riding a bike, when you stop, the brain won't allow your feet to go down and stop you falling. 'You just fall over the sides, it's crazy, but the brain is so complex, it's amazing. 'I didn't realise the compartments of the brain, where if you talk in an accent. So (for me) I advise speaking in a Scottish accent. "The flow is quicker than my normal speeds, which is crazy, but that's the brain for it.'
