19-Year-Old Killed in Parasailing 'Accident,' Dad Says, amid Reports She Unfastened Her Safety Belt
The fatal incident occurred in Budva, Montenegro
"I can't believe it's true. She is a wonderful child," a neighbor saidA Serbian teen died last week after allegedly unfastening her safety belt while parasailing in Montenegro, according to her family and local news reports. She was 19.
The girl's father, identified only as Goran R., confirmed her death, telling Republika, "It's true, there was an accident."
"I just headed there," he added, according to a translation. "I can't tell you anything else."
The girl, named Tijana, is believed to have died on Wednesday, May 28, after falling more than 160 feet into the Adriatic Sea in Budva.
A neighbor told Republika, "I can't believe it's true. She is a wonderful child. The whole family is wonderful."
The neighbor shared that Goran, who is a taxi driver, and his wife, who works as a hairdresser, have two children and "are people who are ready to come to everyone's aid."
Harrowing video reviewed by Serbian outlet Kurir reportedly depicts the young woman in the air and struggling to remove her safety belt — for some reason — before taking off her life jacket and plummeting to her death within 30 seconds.
The outlet reports that she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The young woman agreed to go parasailing after a representative for the parasailing company had approached her on the beach and offered a free flight, according to Kurir.
'We are all in shock after the accident that happened … I do not know exactly what happened,' Mirko Krdzic, the owner of the company, told the outlet.

'She did not show any fear of flying. She underwent training after which the tragedy followed," Krdzic said. "Technical inspections of all the equipment are underway and the results of the autopsy are awaited.'
Officials in Montenegro are investigating her death, and her body will be transported to her home city of Novi Sad, Serbia, the outlet reports.

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Address Breakup Rumors With One Photo
THE RUNDOWN Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have been spending some time apart as he films Dune: Part Three in Hungary. After the actor missed Jenner's 28th birthday celebration earlier this month, some fans wondered whether they had quietly broken up. A source assured Us Weekly yesterday that they are 'still together,' and the couple was spotted in Budapest, Hungary, today after Jenner made the long trip to see her partner. Coffee shop Budapest Baristas shared a photo of Chalamet and Jenner posing with two employees there. 'Today Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet just walked in to our coffee shop at Buda. We were so in confusion, we could [barely] concentrate, but I think you can see [it] on our face🙈,' they wrote. 'Thank God, everyone look at them, not us 😄 They were super nice and kind. Thank you for coming @kyliejenner @tchalamet ❤️' The pair has spent a good part of their two-year relationship long-distance as Jenner is based in Los Angeles with her and ex Travis Scott's two children, and Chalamet has been busy filming projects on the East Coast and abroad. Over the weekend, a source told People that the two stars were putting in the work to keep their bond strong despite being in different parts of the world. The outlet added that Chalamet will soon move to Jordan and Abu Dhabi to continue shooting Dune. 'They haven't seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée's been filming Dune in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie's been working too,' the source said. 'She visited him in July.' 'But even though Kylie has a private jet, the flight is still 12 hours,' the insider noted. 'She's a mom, and she works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in L.A. Timothée's schedule is grueling, with very little downtime.' 'They're making it work though,' the source said. 'They FaceTime most days. They miss each other and are totally fine.' Jenner seemed to signal that herself last week when she liked one of Chalamet's new Instagram posts.

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner Photographed in Budapest
Looks like Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have reunited after weeks apart! The couple haven't been seen together since a group trip to St. Tropez in July, prompting some fans to worry they'd broken up even though it's public knowledge that Timmy's currently in Europe filming Dune: Part 3. But nope! Very much still together, at least based on a photo of them seemingly out and about in Budapest, where Dune: Part 3 is filming. The sighting comes just a few days after a source told People that Kylie had visited the actor at least once on set—so it's possible that this is a newly surfaced old pic from that trip, or that it's a new one. Either way, they are clearly still together! "They haven't seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée's been filming Dune in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie's been working too," a source told People on August 15, clarifying that "she visited him in July." The insider also noted that "even though Kylie has a private jet, the flight is still 12 hours. She's a mom and she works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in LA. Timothée's schedule is grueling, with very little downtime. They're making it work though. They FaceTime most days. They miss each other and are totally fine." After wrapping up in Budapest, Lil Timmy Tim will start filming in Jordan and Abu Dhabi—tbd on if Kylie makes it to set!
